Self Check In any time of day was great. Machine a bit tricky though: when I tried to correct a typo, I got kicked out of the check in and had to start all over again. Quiet despite being right next to the big central station. Very warm, heat was on upon arrival - I had to open the window at midnight.

No WiFi information in the room, no WiFi info at the check in. No one available on the 'hotline' (?.button at front door?) - I would not like to be there in a real emergency. I arrived at midnight and couldn't ask any other guests, either. My mobile data didn't work in Switzerland. No fridge in the room.

Location is 100/100 just outside Basel SBB central railway station. Totally convenient and best location ever central to old town. Once I called staff by phone for check in process, they were super helpful and pleasant - thank you!

I personally do not like human-less processes, in particular check in. A personal is already under stress when in a different country. Talking to a human is important. All these automated self check in processes are removing the human element from the process altogether esp when it is a hotel such as this (not just a standalone AirBnB apartment). Saying all this, I called the staff when I struggled, and they were wonderful in helping / assisting.

Excellent communication with property representative. Desara was extremely helpful and reassuring as I was arranging this room for my daughter who was travelling alone. Expensive for a very basic room

A stone’s throw from Basel SBB. Clean. Comfortable beds. Free coffee from machine at reception was actually very good.

We were not disturbed by noise as staying on the top (4th) floor (beware the lift stops at the 3rd floor so it’s necessary to heft bags up a flight of stairs to the 4th). My friend staying on a lower floor was disturbed by noisy intoxicated people coming in very late. A downside of accommodation with automated check-in, no staff.

Small hotel in a very convenient location, a couple of minutes walk from the main station. Clean comfortable rooms. Automatic check-in is very easy, with card reader for credit card payments and automatic delivery of room keycards. There are no staff at reception, but I got very quick response to a telephone, and also a text message, inquiry. Free coffee from the machine in the lobby. Prices are very reasonable. I've stayed here more than once, and I recommend it.

Room was small but usefull. Check-in and payment are done via machine. There is a coffee machine on the entrance, so you may have free coffee during your stay. Located near the Basel SBB station.

Everything is autonomous, it might be good. However, in case of any unexpected situation, there must be at least a personnel onboard to aid guests.

No AC just fan so hot as 28 during our stay . You can hear other people in rooms so soundproofing not great ie doors slamming, tv and child screaming…. 5th floor where we where located in one of our rooms had only access by stairs others rooms to 4th floor do have lift…

The Hotel location is very good. from the name understood that hotel is smart there is not any personal to contact during enterance. So with using special machine you are registering and geting your room card. it was very easy for me. Very Clean and sweet hotel. I am recommending this hotel.

During my stay I am not faced any issue or problem. therefore there weren't anythink which I don't like.

It was walking distance to the train station. The room was a good size. The room itself and beddings were clean. But, the bathroom floor had shoe prints.

It was a bit loud with the sound of people loading and unloading things from what sounded like a small truck between 1:00 - 2:00 AM. It made it difficult to fall back to sleep.

The room was great, compact but a great value. Short walking distance to the train station. Close to eateries. Nice self service coffee machine in the lobby. They provided a free Basel Card for local transportation. Would stay again.

The self checkin was relatively easy, but finding our room was slightly confusing as the room number plaques didn’t match our checkin info.
