Everything was awesome, actually stayed twice during the same trip. Was travelling by car to Italy, and this seemed like a good spot to spend the night at. After the first stay, decided to book the same place again on the way back. Stayed in two different rooms, this one was bigger, very nice and comfortable the other one was also absolutely fine, just smaller as per the description. The staff were nice, food was good (had dinner) I really have 0 complaints. We were staying with a dog, so a small charge per night (10-15eur don’t remember) applied, but that’s pretty standard. There was also free parking at hotel’s backyard, which was very convenient. I definitely recommend this hotel! And for pawrents, there’s a small park 5mins away for a walk.

Everything was perfect, no complaints.

Extra comfy beds and lots of very hot water in a very clean, modern room and bath. Breakfast buffet was plentiful and tasty with a super attentive breakfast lady ready to refill your cup and leaving things in place even after the 1000 a.m. deadline. Great parking just behind the hotel, which was so easy to find -- a straight shot from the autobahn. Bus stops to both downtown Basel and to the Beyerle Foundation in Riehen within two minutes walk of the hotel, plus lots of restaurant choices and a grocery store.

Room was very cold the first night, though both room and bath heaters were going on high. Was disappointed that the restaurant was closed while we were there. Staffing was scarce and had no one really to ask questions of regarding the local transportation means. Turned out to be very simple thankfully.

Homely rural feel stay based to the East of Weil am Rhein. I found the hotel pretty modern, even though it's in an older style building. Staff were friendly and excellent. The breakfast there was plenty of selection and more than enough for me. Bus services are available just around the corner, so easy to get to. Note the hotel is changing owner and so this review really only applies until 03/25.

The light switches by the bed - didn't seem to work, however it was easy to control the lights. So no problem really.

It was a beautiful, quiet hotel and the staff were very friendly. The breakfast at the hotel was delicious with a lot of variety. It was also only a short walk to the Vitra Collection - which was fantastic. It was close to public transportation and many restaurant options.

Our room was right off of the common courtyard which thankfully didn’t prove to be an issue.

The breakfast was continental with a large variety of breads, spreads, meats, cheeses, hard boiled eggs and dry cereals. Fresh fruit and juice, coffee and tea were also available. Very well organized, displayed delicious.

More nights added to our stay would have been great . The restaurant was high end and everything was homemade and delicious. The hosts, Sarah and Chris , along with their staff, were the best hosts and made us feel like family.

The property was excellent. It was very clean and tidy. Sarah and the staff were outstanding. The restaurant for dinner and breakfast was excellent. We were the only Americans so you know it was quality and authentic.

I knew this when we booked but they do not have an elevator and our room was on the 3rd floor. Don’t let this scare you off just be aware it is probably not going to be your hotel of choice for anyone with mobility issues.

Our room was clean and spacious with excellent air con. It was quiet and peaceful. Staff were friendly and attentive. The food was good.

Not having a kettle in the room was the only thing we didn’t like. A bath and a small fridge would have been extra helpful.

Great hotel in a nice location to access restaurants (sadly the hotel restaurant was closed the night we were there) and very convenient for catching a morning flight from the Basel airport. Happily, the church bells change from ringing the quarter hour to only ring the hour after 10pm.

We went to bed a bit early due to an early departure and the traffic noise from the main street was a bit loud. This dropped right off later and we slept well.

The hotel is traditional, located in the quiet rural heart of Weil, it is close to Basel. The staff is helpful, the room and the bathroom were large enough and the bed was comfy. Breakfast was good. Very handy to have a restaurant on the site.
