The location is great. There's a ski-to-door option (though it includes a bit of off-piste at the end) and the Signalbahn is just a 2-minute walk away. The city center and train station are accessible by bus, with the bus stop located only 2 minutes from the hotel. Alternatively, you can walk to the city center in about 30 minutes, enjoying mountain views and passing by the lake. Cross-country tracks are located just across the road. It's also possible to go for an evening cross-country ride—just make sure to bring a headlamp. A spa center and several nice restaurants are nearby. Guests have free access to the San Gian spa. Breakfast was good. Cosy and well-decorated lobby

Breakfast started too late (at 7 a.m.), making it difficult to catch the first cable car. The double room was too small for two people, with not enough space to sit together comfortably. Some of the staff were not fully informed. For instance, one receptionist was unaware that hotel guests had free access to the spa at the San Gian Hotel and also lacked information about cross-country skiing options. However, when we asked another staff member the following day, he was well-informed and provided us with all the necessary details. The ski room was a bit too small, and the locker wasn't large enough to store three pairs of skis, so we had to use multiple lockers.

I want to start by thanking David Ezeoke for being incredibly responsive and caring for several weeks - due to his amazing support alone i feel obliged to recommend Hotel Nolda to family and friends! The property is really ideal with a beautiful stream running in front, next to the cable car (Funari) that goes to mountains and nearby to restaurants, cafes and shops. The rooms were ideal for a family of 5 and unlike other expensive hotels - they were incredibly accommodating. Nice rooms and ambience, lobby and really great breakfast team who were so kind and accommodating.

Comfortable and very clean room. I liked that room was cleaned daily and towels replaced. The location could not be better, could walk a few steps to cable car to get up to the hill and ski right to the door of the hotel. Breakfast was generous and varied and prepared us well for a day of skiing. The wait staff in the breakfast room were very attentive and helpful. Front desk staff helped us with need for extra pillows.

No control over temperature in the room, had to leave the window open all night to manage the heat in the room. Breakfast was sufficient, the coffee was not good. Pillows were too soft and when we asked for second pillow, we did not receive it until the next night. There is a problem with the shower in that water spread all over the floor in the bathroom but the floor was heated and that was a bonus.

Breakfast was absolutely wonderful with delicious breads, crackers, cheeses, meats vegetables, hot cereal and cold, fruits, fruit juices, coffees, etc. All was so wonderful. The staff help arrange taxi and supported us in find an excellent dinning spot. The staff allowed me to use his private phone to make adjustments to upcoming travel.

There was nothing other than I made a mistake in my original booking where I selected only one night with a right to cancel. We then change to two nights and changed my dates and they would allow me to cancel as I had not asked for it when I change dates. Not there fault. We are glad they did not allow us as we got the best of the best.

Hotel is a 15 minute bus ride from the railway station . It is quite traditional in design. It is on the edge of the town so looks out towards the mountains which is nice. It is very convenient for the Signal cable car to get up the mountain and the hotel kindly provided us with a pass to access the mountain transport. We were staying in October so only the main cable cars were running. The room was average size and although there was no tea or coffee making facilities in the room, staff gave us a jug of hot water and we used our own teabags. Breakfast was good with a tasty continental selection as well as eggs to order.

Although the hotel information states that they will pick up and drop off at the station, we discovered these transfers are only available if you book directly with the hotel. A taxi back to the station ( it was pouring with rain) cost us £21 for a 5 minute journey! limited places to eat nearby- maybe due to time of year.

The hotel has a friendly and relaxed atmosphere and guests feel comfortable and are friendly with each other as well. It is conveniently located at St Moritz-bad, near the Signal cable car and the bus stop to other locations. There is a good selection of restaurants nearby, including the Laudinella group of restaurants (Italian, Japanese, traditional Swiss and more). Our Superior Double Room was spacious and comfortable and the cleaning staff do a great job. The staff in the restaurant for breakfast and dinner are friendly, kind and efficient and the food (especially breakfast) is excellent. The ski and boot storage facilities are also spacious and conveniently accessed by lift from inside the hotel.

There was one person at Reception who offered the absolute bare minimum in terms of information and service. It was like we were an inconvenience to her. Very disappointing as it diminishes the ambience of the hotel. Getting up to St Moritz-dorf is not that easy, but the walk is pleasant and worth the effort.

Lovely welcome on arrival all staff excellent and very friendly lovely food at reasonable price for Switzerland no need to go out hotel. Loved it all will return next year.

This hotel is a good distance from the station. There is a bus that runs every 15 mins 609.outside station. This takes you to the Hotel, used bus there and back to the station very reliable no problem at all. And really cheap

Our room had a stunning view of the Matterhorn – absolutely beautiful. The room was warm, cozy, and well-equipped, with a very comfortable bed. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious, and the restaurant was stylish and cozy. The hotel is not in the center, which we found to be a plus – quiet and peaceful. It’s a 15-minute walk to the center or a 5-minute bus ride. Sadly, we didn’t have time to use the sauna. We’ll definitely be back!

The room was large with a separate lounge area where we could sit and watch TV. There was a mini kitchen for preparing food. The breakfast service was fast and we were offered freshly cooked eggs of our choice. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The cost of our stay was good value for money.

Very good breakfast. Helpful front desk personnel. Walking distance to lift to the top of the mountain. Close to bus for getting down town. If you have time, ride a local train down to Italy on the same tracks used by the Bernina Express... we did on a sunny day and we're able to sit outside in an open car. Amazing views.

Would have liked having a coffee maker in the room.
