The bed was comfy, the room was well climated without being too cold. Good size of room, too. Good shower water pressure. In general everything was clean. Location close to the Winterthur train station is great. The breakfast had a decent choice of food and the quality was good.

The small space to work does not have enough power plugs or you need to do some unplugging and replugging all the time. For example to connect your laptop to the power you need to unplug the (large) onsite tablet power supply. If you want to use the water cooker, you need to remove your laptop because there's not enough space for both. So the working area could definitely be improved with more power plugs.

I come to the Zurich area quarterly from the US to work with a company in Turbenthal. I usually stay in Zurich and take the train to Turbenthal but this trip I booked in Winterthur which is a little closer. It was 93F in the area this week and the AC worked great. Room size was perfect and they had several English TV channels (not just news). I know most hotels are doing housekeeping on demand but this hotel provided daily housekeeping which I like. Also the hotel rate was better than Zurich rates. I will definitely stay there again the next time I am in the area.

Overall, a nice hotel with friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are spacious, the A/C works well, and hotel parking is available just a minute away

the price is on the high side, and light sleepers might be affected by nearby train noise. Housekeeping could also use a bit more attention to detail.

Really helpful staff, very comfortable beds, delicious food. They had many plug adaptors ready for our stay as we didn't realise Swiss plugs are different to EU plugs!

Room was a bit warm for me and couldn't work out the air con but also didn't ask for help!

The TV and furniture in the room are in good condition, but it would be beneficial to consider replacing at least the TVs with a new, larger model.

Hotel very clean, room extremely comfortable, breakfast very good. Fabulous triple glazing which blocks all the noise from the trains outside.

Didn’t appreciate having to enter my full details - which were presumably already in the booking system - into a small tablet. When attempting to “sign” the gadget, it deleted all my entries!

In general, the hotel was nice and comfortable, the staff friendly and helpful and the breakfast very complete. The area is nice and is easy to access from the train station. The shower was particularly nice.

The room was a bit noisy due to the trains passing by just outside the window. I booked the hotel because Booking said that they had a fitness facility. However, as I got to the hotel, I had to pay extra, as fitness was part of another business next door. That was not stated by Booking (that there was an extra fee to use it)

We stayed here for a recovery day after a long hiking trip. The rooms are big, the beds comfortable and the breakfast is great. The late checkout time is a real help if you need a bit of extra sleep, and the staff were really helpful as well.

Rooms had air conditioning and staff were very helpful. Rooms were spacious and beds were comfortable Perfect location as its situated close to winterthur station Shops and restaurants are just 7-8 mins by walk. We recommend this hotel to everyone who plan to stay in winterthur.
