Location is excellent. Could easily walk to AltStadt which had a lot of restaurants, Cafes, stores, etc. Great old buildings and architecture in AltStadt. Short drive to Rhine Falls as well.

Ventilation system in room was not very good which made it warm and hard to sleep at night. The bathrooms are very functional, but small and don't lend themselves to much privacy from roommate.

All staff very personable and friendly, especially with my little boy in the dining room. They really made an effort. Very clean and comfortable rooms. You could leave the air-con running through the day, which was necessary. Food was excellent - both breakfast and evening meals, although breakfast was very expensive (CHF20 pp, including children). Located by the train station for easy access to Rhine Falls - a five minute train journey away.

Car parking very expensive (CHF50 for two nights in a public car park next door). This might well be Booking.com’s issue rather than the hotel as they advertise it with parking, when technically it hasn’t.

One of the best customer experiences I ever had, STEFAN is the definition of GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICES. He was amazing since check in. He was very professional in welcoming and went out of his way to help me with parking my van because I thought it will not fit in the garage but Stefan was amazing he went out with me to the garage to make sure that the van fits. Another case where Stefan was amazing was when I ordered food and couldn't find the driver. Honestly, he deserves to be the Hotel manager not only the reception.

Finally a place with TRUE Air conditioning! Room was bigger than expected. Beds comfortable. Awesome water pressure and temps. Bathroom scale. Friendly staff. Super close to the train station, restaurants, shops and sights. Wifi is solid. Forego housekeeping and get a treat!

Needs regular outlets for use, especially by bed, did have USB/C which was nice but unable to use laptop. Being on "exhibit" when showering, glass wall looks into bedroom. Thin pillows with a dusty/old smell odor. Rugs in room need cleaned.

Hardly any English speaking TV channels. Only Swiss electrical J-type sockets in the room.s. I had to request for an adaptor in order to use a standard European F-type plug.

Staff on reception were extremely helpful and friendly, room we stayed in was extremely spacious and the bed was extra comfy.

Coffee machine in bar was cleaned and shut down before 22.30 whilst bar still open selling drinks, tea and coffee provided in room but no milk or biscuits. No facilities to store bikes securely at hotel.

The position of the hotel is exceptional! Literally 30 sec. from the Bahnhof and its underpass which can lead you straight away to the centre. The room was clean and the spaces were very well used. The staff were really available and advised us about where we could eat (the girl who served us was the sweetest).

We had a little issue with the USB port near to the bed which didn’t work (we used the plug to charge our phones), but nothing “serious”

Modern hotel with well appointed, spacious room with large comfortable bed. The buffet breakfast was of a very high standard with plenty of choice. Car parking in public underground car park but right next to the hotel. A very short walk into the old town which has a good choice of eating places and hostelries.

The address for the hotel is a pedestrian only zone. If it were given as the road on the other side of the hotel, which is Muhlentalstrasse, where the main entrance is located as well as access to the car park it would be easier to locate by car.

Room was lovely. Really cosy and spacious. We were able to have breakfast a day early (day of check-in) as we checked out at 3am and would've missed our breakfast which was paid for. We appreciated that. Location close to train station and we were able to check-in at 10am which was great.

Somebody tried to come into our room with a key whilst we were sleeping and woke us up. He had a key which suggests reception had checked him into our room despite us being there. We were unable to sleep after this. We made less fuss of it than we probably could have because we were too tired. Also the toilet continued to leak water after flushing continuously which was really annoying to listen to when trying to sleep.

Beds were very comfortable. Location was great Very convenient to trains, busses and old Town

Refilling of coffee etc was not adequate. Shower door did not seal well to the floor so water leaked out on to outer floor. Needed more hangars in oset and more drawer space.
