I liked a lot the hostel. They have a very nice breakfast that is included and the surroundings are so peaceful and beautiful. Once you learn how to use the public transportation (buses), is so easy to go to the city center or to the falls (I suggest to buy the daily pass). I also enjoyed the place itself, with a lot of wood, you feel comfortable there and it is different from others hostels. The mattress was very comfortable and I had 3 very good nights of sleep.

The only thing that was not good was the internet because it wasn´t available inside the rooms. My room was not in the main house so to get the wifi, I had to go there and at night in the cold and dark was not good moving from the main house to the house where I was sleeping. Even with that situation, I would stay there again for sure. Oh, and If they can put some cushions on the couch of the main room it would become more comfortable and cozy.

When I arrived I discovered that I had accidentally booked for the following night, not the night I was planning to be there! The staff was able to talk to a fellow that had booked a 4 person dorm all for himself to see if he would be willing to share. I think the fact that I was an older solo traveler helped him agree to this. We ended up getting along well. I was really impressed that staff at check in were willing to go above and beyond to make my stay possible. Plus, it was a comfortable bed.

We had an amazing stay! The staff was really nice and allowed us an early check in and check out, they also answered all our questions both before and during the stay. We spent an amazing couple of days and felt really welcome, the facilities were super pretty and clean, and the outside area was also beautiful. 10/10

The *only* issue we had was the wifi signal being a bit weak in the room, but that did not affect our stay at all.

Quiet location. Probably the cleanest and well kept Youth Hostel I have stayed in. Reception staff very friendly and helpful. Comfortable bed. Breakfast was fine.

A bit of a hike out of town to reach the Hostel...but it was worth the effort!

Hostel is located inside a historic building about 20 mins walk from the town centre. Our room was spacious with a double, a single and a bunk bed. Breakfast was very nice with some Swiss specialties (ovomaltine ;-)! The receptionist and the other staff were friendly and helpful.

not too much storage space inside the rooms hostel / room felt cold on a rainy summer day => bring warm socks/ slippers!

Location was amazing, easy to get to from train station, straight onto a regular bus service which stops outside and also goes onto the waterfalls. Really friendly check in, breakfast was decent. Really great environment

Only thing really was the sheets weren’t the most pleasant. Absolutely clean but kinda towelling and just not overly pleasant on the skin but nothing that world put me off staying there again. Was lovely.

The hostel is extremely clean and the staff is very helpful and friendly. It is quiet at night and it is about a 10-minute walk to the station. If you go to Zürich airport, this hostel is a good alternative to the Zürich hostels.

The Wifi only worked in the centre of the hostel, not outside nor in the upper floors.

The vibe, the building, the location, the great organisation and communication and the fact they can provide dinner

Very wet floor in the shared bathroom after lots of kids. No problem with the children though :) They need more sockets or charging points in the dorms

Construction works on the entire building ongoing that could have justified a price reduction.

There were no issues. It’s a quiet hostel with spacious grounds. Ideal for Families with small children and cyclists. Good storage for bicycles. Reception was particularly friendly.

The 8 bed bunkroom with only one power point. As it was pretty warm during the night a pedestal fan would have been appreciated.
