1) We had the triple business room 35m2. It was spacious, very newly renovated and very value for money. 2) Wash basin is outside the toilet, which makes it much easier when more than 2 people needs to wash up and get ready. 3) There is a cold and hot drinking water dispensor on the ground level.

We dislike 1) Satchets / small packets of soup and shampoo that were provided. It is very difficult to shower when you have to keep opening and squeezing the body soup out of the plastic satchet. It is also not environmentally friendly. Please provide soups that can be dispensed with a pump. You can fix these to the wall to discourage guests from taking more than they need. 2) The curtains are new and dark in colour but they are not black out curtains and do not block out the sunlight. (This is just a minor issue.) 3) Walked to the wrong Hi Hotel on the 1st night. Although we keyed in the correct address, this other Hi Hotel can be seen from the skyline far away. Walked another 10 mins to the Xinmin branch. 4) No self service laundry facilities in this hotel.

The staff were fantastic.Very helpful. The room was big , very new and very quiet. Slept well every night. Location maybe 15 mins walk to train station and few restaurants. Price quality relation good except for the breakfast.

This is not a problem of this hotel, but of hotels and restaurants in general in Taiwan. They are not geared up for western food. So if you don't eat oriental style breakfast your breakfast is toast with jam and a little fruit. I asked the kitchen for a fried egg, and was told not possible .

The hotel overall and the gust room were very clean and nice; the stuff was very professional when we asked the transportation to famous night market they immediately offered a taxi arrangement. Their location is pretty good within 10 minutes of walking distance to Chiayi's 2 big department stores. Their breakfast buffet bar offered both Chinese and Western foods.

If they can provide a gym or a swimming pool, it will be great.

The breakfast was so good. The hotel itself was spacious. It is quiet near restaurants, malls, coffee shops, and even where our conference was held. All the staff were very accommodating and approachable. Though English is not fluent to those staff, the most commendable thing is they are trying to communicate with you. They used the translator app from their phones to properly address your concerns.

Everything is fine. I will surely come back to this place of Chiayi City and stay again in Hotel Hi Xin Min.

Spacious, accessible, clean, good toiletries, good proximity to halal place.

Lift door does not have sensor. Almost got sandwiched between the doors one time when entering the lift. More of a safety issue, but doesnt downgrade the hotel in any ways.

The big quiet room, a great fresh fruit milk/tea place almost across the hotel & a 7/11 nearby, lots of local restaurants around (I don't think the hotel had a restaurant), a fresh market & 2 department stores in walking distance. The front-desk staff spoke good English. :-)))

There were 2 Hi hotels in Chiayi City. Although we were aware of it, we were absent-minded enough to go to the wrong place. Luckily, they weren't so far apart. :-)

Room was of generous size and comfortable. Wide spread for breakfast. There is a self service launderette a few minutes walk away.

Parking in basement carpark was very tight but they had some roadside parking we could use. Bed support was not very good. Bed shakes when a person turns.

The room was exceptional. Clean, tidy, comfortable, good air conditioning, well equipped with toiletries. Breakfast had a great range of options. Hotel was very well located, it had good selection of 小吃 and restaurants just down the road. We had a good meal for dinner and took a great rest back in the hotel room.

location was perfect for the old parts of town. very easy to get staff to help out on our needs. there’s even a 24h supermarket right across the road!! breakfast was also very nice for the price point (for comparison, Delton Hotel in Kaohsiung is pricier with a smaller breakfast buffet…) overall very fuss-free!

honestly, the only issue is probably location away from more urban locations. (wasn’t a bad thing necessary, but it’s something to note)

Great value for money hotel. Clean, bright, modern and well equipped room. Friendly and helpful staff. Centrally located close to shops and restaurants

The breakfast was pretty limited and didn't have much choice in western/continential options. This is the only aspect I didn't like - everything else was excellent.
