We booked this hotel because it was close to the train station and had a moderate tariff. It turned out to be a solid choice and we would stay again. Hotel reception was on the 11th floor and there were several floors above with guest rooms. Our room was huge and had two chairs and a small movable table, as well as a work desk and another chair. The room was quiet and had a great view over the train station. Breakfast was served in a pleasant area and was enjoyable.

There was only one English TV channel. A couple of English movie channels would have been appreciated.

Time for breakfast is 6:30,but they allowed me to eat at 6:00am because I have to catch up the first bus to Alishan.They will also allow you to deposit your luggage before and after check out.Very convenient for tourist.

Across the road from the station, quiet, comfortable and great value. Staff were friendly and helpful, translator app assisted greatly for the both of us when necessary. Breakfast was fantastic and plentiful, vegetarian also available in abundance. I enjoyed the pork stir fry, noodles and stir fried veggies each morning along with good coffee and toast and jam if you are desperate for a western fix. For the price, it was excellent value within walking distance of major attractions.

Right opposite the train station so very convenient. The buses to Alishan are also opposite the hotel. Was able to leave luggage when I arrived early. Breakfast was ok - would be helpful to have signs in English or even Chinese saying what things are as I didn’t recognise some dishes. When I asked I was told it’s a soup made with dried meat - not sure if something was lost in translation. There were boiled eggs and toast.

Very inflexible about check in time- even 10 minutes early and I was told to wait. Luckily there’s a toilet in reception.

I prefer hotels near public transportation hubs, so I like this one's location outside Chiayi Station. The breakfast is quite a banquet. I like the porridges very much. The living room and bathroom are both spacious. There is a fridge, not a microwave in the living room.

The floor of the living room has black and white strips; The floor of the bathroom has black and white squires. Both designs may hypnotize guests. The door key card worked well only on the 1st day during my 2-day stay. The staff had to give me a new key card on the 2nd day.

Clean. Comfortable beds. Simple and minimalist. Staffs were very friendly. Very close to Chiayi Train station. We thought that the Chiayi HSR was the one mentioned closeby, but it was the Chiayi Metro train station. It is different and it is far from each other. Our mistake for not checking properly.

Nothing to dislike. A good 1 night stay. No complains. Good for just to stay a night for sleeping.

The hotel is just opposite the railway station very convinient, the building lobby look old but once you reach 11/F it look bright and airy, breakfast included, they have coffee machine and serve good coffee, a perfect place to stop for a night and go to Alishan and luggage storage service, hotel allow us to leave luggage there and pick up after Alishan, there is also free parking for car and motorbike.

Sound proofing between room need improvement.

Location, right opposite the train station! So convenient and also 2 motorcycle rental shops next to the hotel. I like how the hotel is connected to the cinema and McDonald's and a lot of food stalls there. The hot tub was superb as well! Breakfast was good too! Big comfortable room, very happy with the room, really big and nice!

Nothing but you need a motorbike to get around cos yes it is right opposite the train station and bus station too to go to Alishan but the night market was quite far and also the Hinoki Village and the train yard. You can get a taxi to get around, Chiayi city is big and not rural at all.

Huge room, you can see it had some years, but very clean. The staff is nice, and the hotel has the ideal location if you want to go to Alishan, just in front of the bus and train station.

The breakfast buffet was not very assorted for european tastes, and the hotel is only a floor of a building that has some other premises, so it is not obvious to find it (nor difficult, you only have to look up for the signs on the side of the building).

Location: Convenient. Just next to the Chiayi Railway Station, which was great as I need to take the Alishan Express from the station the next day. Need to take the lift to the 11th floor (hotel is location from 11th floor, reception at 11th floor of the building). Do note that the lifts to the hotel reception to check-in and going up to your rooms are different! Do note that the hotel room has either bathtub or shower, so if you prefer either, please indicate. As we wanted shower (not bathtub), I gave the hotel my request and the hotel arranged this. A plus point is we got an upgraded room (I booked twin room and was upgraded to family room with 2 full beds (i.e. for 4 persons)). So please note that my review is for family room and not twin room! Bathroom: Big and clean Facilities: Bed was comfortable and pillow was ok (since each of us had 2 pillows, it was better as I could stack them). Disposal items (shower cap, shower gel, shampoo, etc) + coffee/tea and kettle provided. Breakfast: There was a good spread of chinese dishes (rice/porridge, meat, vegetables etc) and bread with coffee/tea.

Maybe the family room was too big, so at first the air-con was not cool enough. After I adjusted the air-con setting, it was better. Was a great experience, just a pity that we had to check out early to take the Alishan Express, so we were not able to enjoy the spacious and comfortable room.
