Large hostel with modern facilities, clean. Put me in a nice 4 bed dorm with en-suite toilet and shower room which were nice and clean. Fast (enough) responses to messaging via booking.com app, to accommodate a late self-check in (they left my room key/card in a safe box outside and given me code/instructions. There is a kitchen/seating area on top floor and part of it outdoors on a balcony - this seemed nice from a quick glance but I didn't really use it as arrived late and left early next AM so can't really comment. Also didn't meet any staff members for same reason so can't comment on that aspect.

Location was a bit of a walk 10-15 mins from Chiayi station (note it's not the High Speed Rail station - that is about 40 min bus ride away from Chiayi local train station), made worse that there is no proper side walks in Chiayi - a lot blocked up by scooters. There is a small private code operated locker next to your bed for valuables, but no instructions on how to set the code up, hence I couldn't figure out how use it (or it was faulty?) and just had to trust fellow roommates to not steal my valuables.

The location is nice. A lot of things to eat and walkable to the night market. They gave a 24 hours breakfast coupon which is very convenient because the restaurant next door is open 24 hours.

Our room design show bare sanitary pipe on the ceiling. They didn’t do anything to sound proof the pipe. We could hear the sound of flushing, water running in the pipe all night. It is very annoying.

The rooftop terrace is nice. The kitchen was well equipped (though an actual kettle could be nice to have!). The bed was comfy and the storage locker was big enough to fit valuables + there’s space under bed for bigger bags. It is a short walking distance for Chiayi station which has both trains and buses (if you ie stay in Chiayi to go on a day trip to Alishan).

The room was huge with many many beds. I expected it to be large, but not can-accommodate-30-people kind of large. It was still very peaceful.

This was an amazing hostel to stay in. Very clean, well kept, modern and fresh. The staff were incredibly friendly and helped with anything you needed. All the facilities were really well looked after and made it an extremely comfortable and enjoyable stay. The beds were exactly as seen in the photos online with your own TV and lockable cupboard. Very spacious. One of the best places we’ve stayed in Taiwan.

The only small comment I would have would be the amount of beds in the dorm we stayed in was a lot for the space, with what felt like no real air flow through the room. However plenty of space for the amount of beds.

We stayed in a dorm and it was great. I've never been in a better structured dorm before. It didn't feel like a lot of people at all even so there were definitely a lot in there. You had your own little corner, space to store your luggage, your own TV, table, curtain, safe, socket and light. It was very clean. The bathrooms were always clean as well and the property's location is great. I highly recommend this place.

Like the kitchen very much to eat the food we bought with proper cutlery. Staff were very helpful in giving directions and the location was great for food, shopping and transport.

The walls were not sound proof and the guests were very loud. It would be good if the owner put up signs to remind the guests to tone down after 10 pm. We could hear the television Next door and people talking loudly on their phones.

The double bed dorm was very cosy with a comfortable bed, TV and a small but convenient storage space. It was very clean as well. The kitchen was very modern with drinking tapwater, a place to cook and even to make your own smoothie. We had a nice evening playing some games here. The staff is very kind and helpful with everything. Thankyou for this stay!

Great location. Very luxurious stay for a hostel. Every bunk bed has its own TV. They lend you a small towel as well. Often have last minute deals which makes the stay very cheap.

There are no all gender showers, just female only and male only. Unconvenient for non-binary and trans folks.

Great for both long term and short stay. Beds are good, plenty of space for luggage under bed. Facilities are nice, separate bathroom for men and women. Fantastic kitchen on top floor with plenty seating area.

Stayed only one night, but couldn't really find anything bad about it.

The hostel beds are great, you won't even feel like you're staying in a hostel. Bathrooms are absolutely spotless, the staff is super friendly. Each bed comes with a TV and lots of amenities that can be useful during your stay. Location is great, but 20 mins walking from the station. They also give you a food discount on chosen restaurants
