Although the room was mixed there were separate showers and toilets which were of a good design with hot showers. There was a comfortable communal area with kitchen and dining area and nice views over the city square in front of the hotel. I shared the room with two men one of whom I had a nice conversation with in the dining area. Although the room was small we respected each others space. I got a good nights sleep. I have not had to make my bed before though I do sometimes strip a hostel bed but I appreciate it keeps prices down. The Orange is good value for money. Reception staff kindly looked aftyer my luggage while I went to visit the Tile Museum, recommended a place for lunch and called a taxi for me to take me to the station.

The room is just a little on the small side.

The hostel is about 15 min walk away from the train station but a stone throw away from the night market. It's right by a nice plaza which is lovely for evening people watching. The staff is super nice, my stay there was comfortable. The common bathrooms and shower room were clean and spacious, there were lots of sofas, tables and chairs, even a balcony space for lounging. Great price for a nice stay.

Only thing I would change was the bed curtain - it only covered half of the bed so general room light wasn't blocked, but I was lucky with other people in the room not keeping it on for long.

Wonderful hotel with all the amenities you could hope for, including washer and dryer, and super helpful staff. The rooms were clean and quiet, and the bathroom and toilet areas very spacious and comfortable. There is also a big lounge area for common use, and a large balcony. The staff let me leave my luggage overnight and pick it back after, which was really helpful. Will 100% stay here again when I come back to Chiayi.

Location short walk to Wenhua night markets. All other conveniences were right outside the door too (7/11, bus stations, parks, etc.) Clean facilities frequently maintained.

Rooms weren’t as soundproof so could hear people from the lobby late at night even though they weren’t being rowdy, could also hear the performers in the park late at night through the walls (could just be the position of my dorm room also which was closer to the front) beds were really hard also; mattress topper needed.

The price is for two people and two free breakfasts, but, I alone. The hotel has been upgraded with a bathtub room. The room is clean and bright, the bedding is very good. Breakfast is very rich. The hotel is located in the city center. There is a public park right in front of the hotel. It only takes five minutes to walk to the city's most famous and bustling night market. Enjoy shopping.😄

Location is excellent, staff are friendly. Second floor is a super fun place to watch the world go by and have some beers. Price is very affordable. Rooms are decent, Ive stayed in a 2 twin and a 3 Japanese style and both were totally adequate, especially if you are adventuring in Chiayi and just using the place to sleep and lounge. Washer and dryer on the 2nd floor came in clutch for both visits.

The staff! Facilities! and it’s location! The staff even let me take a nap at their lounging area since I was too early for check-in. They even have a small kitchen for you basic dining needs. Free water. Lounging area that is super cozy! And the balcony where you can do people watching. A perfect place for SOLO TRAVELERS! The convenience store, and the night market is just a short walk from the hotel. THE STAFF - EXCEPTIONAL! Super accommodating and helpful!

This is my second time staying here. This hotel is located in the city center; famous night market ~ only 5 minutes walk; directly opposite is a big park ~ suitable for morning and evening exercise. The room is spacious, bright and clean; breakfast is quite rich. Interested in staying here again for a longer period of time.

Nice modern clean rooms. Toothbrush and toothpaste provided, free good wifi, tea, coffee and water in room. Very friendly reception, provided recommendations where to eat and flexible to keep same room when we wanted to extend stay. Definitely recommend
