Located in the middle with lots of inexpensive and good food options. You can also see the market and a small park. The Catholic Church is a 20 minute car ride away. Very nice display of lights around Christmas time. Do be prepared for some authentic experience of a Taiwan small city. The street can be noisy. The traffic follows its own rules. It can be scary if you are not used to it but it’s also very fun if you observe and be like the locals.

Due to low occupancy there was a set breakfast. The western style breakfast had too much meat. A sandwich with some kind of yogurt would have been better.

Location is good and the room is big. Staff members are nice. Most important of all, the breakfast buffet is awesome.

The air con. One of our rooms was too hot and the other was too cold.

Comfortable, clean, attractive rooms. The bathrooms are particularly nice, with a sleek soaking tub. Staff was helpful and many speak English. Plentiful breakfast buffet and parking on site.

Convenient central location, friendly and helpful staff. The room was clean and comfortable, and we also enjoyed the buffet breakfast.

We thought those pine trees on the roof were in need of attention. Perhaps it is the general air pollution, or perhaps the trees lack soil - but their health seemed to be not the very best. This does not diminish the value of the hotel, of course, but perhaps some smaller plants could be considered for a rooftop garden?
