Sleeping Inn was amazing, loved our stay and would definately recommend. The staff and breakfast were great. Upon learning I was vegetarian they gave me a homemade vegetarian rice roll for breakfast, and this rice roll was one of my highlights from my entire week in taiwan (it was delicious and I couldnt find another rice roll the entire trip that compared). We were just here for a quick stay (as we arrived in the evening and left early morning) but I quite liked the location, walking distance to the huge night market (and on the coast.. which we didnt explore).

Large, comfortable room with fantastic views to the mountains, over the city and towards the sea. Very contemporary interior design, would be also suitable in New York, Milano or Copenhagen. Staff was super friendly and helpfu all the time. Bike rental within walking distance and only a three minutes ride in to the city center.

There's a new hotel rising up to the east side so sea views could soon be blocked.

Beautifully designed zen/ minimalist property. The family room with balcony had a fantastic bunk bed that was roomy enough for 4 adults. Bathroom has state of the art Japanese toilets. Breakfast was amazing, and the snack bar is free all day. There is even a nice reading book with two massage chairs for use. We really enjoyed the zen vibes and the management is really friendly and accommodating

Arriving at Sleeping Inn was a surprise. Among some old and dated buildings, the Sleeping Inn building stands out as a modern and designer piece of architecture. We were late to check in but the host was gracious to let us in after hours. She made us feel very comfortable, including suggestions on the local attractions. The common area, tea/coffee/snacks, breakfast, thoughtful activities around the place - they were all lovely touches that made our stay warm and very interesting!

There wasn't much to not like, except perhaps there are no tea/coffee facilities in the room but it was easy to get to the common area and take hot water/cups back to the room. No complaints!

The owner was amazing! Our train arrived way later due to landslides and she let us check in late and had snacks for us when we arrived, free of charge. The breakfast was amazing and she was very accommodating. The room was very comfortable.

About 10 min drive from the train station, but that is totally fine because it is close to the beach!

This is a great hotel, clean and modern with good quality fitting’s and fixtures and comfortable beds. It’s safe and secure as well. The lobby has a small self serve area for hot drinks and snacks and the traditional breakfast is fantastic! Walking distance to the night market and other sights. The owner was pleasant & helpful and - I think it’s her family members - were also very kind & helpful with perfect English. I would definitely stay here again.

it was very clean and the interior design was really nice! the entire concept of this Airbnb was very minimalistic and aesthetic too ◡̈ breakfast was good as well. the host (赖姐）was super helpful, asked about our itineraries and offered routes / ideas to make our journey smoother and took care of us as if we were her kids 🥺. they also offer letter posting service! and also a “time capsule” letter posting where you could write a letter to yourself and they will mail it out one year later.

it was quite far and inaccessible from the train station, so we had to cab! but brightside is the area is more quiet, near the seaside and the cabs aren’t too expensive.

I loved this place! The staff was so friendly and the location was great, right by the beach. The breakfast was also delicious and the rooms were interesting! Highly recommend.

We were given room 103 where you need to carry up luggage for 10 steps. Other rooms are accessible via elevator. Other than that, all perfect! Definitely come back again!!!
