No designated clothing rack for dry clothes, need to share with bath towel and only 2 hangers provided for 2 people. Breakfast is not within the hotel so need to walk 300m for breakfast. Open concept bathtub suitable only if staying with people you are comfortable with.

If you require a day light to shine in, do check your room type or even email them to enquire. I thought my room type had a window, but it didn't. Great location, not too far from the Taichung main station on foot & v close to the other attractions nearby. A male staff on the night shift was great, making suggestions on how to.

When I arrived, there was a female staff on reception who wouldn't even let me process my checkin early. She literally took the face value of the word, checking in, as in physically checking into the room. Must say as a frequent traveller this was quite a new concept to me. So if you arrive early, just dump your luggage and walk out because that's all you are allowed to do, it seems.

I had a great time at Check inn in Taichung! It was super clean and quiet, and the staff were really nice and respectful of privacy. One cool thing was how easy it was to get there from Taipei – just a quick 12-minute walk from the Ubus station. And there were tons of awesome night markets nearby, like Shan He Lu Rou Fan – Second Market and Yizhong Street Night Market, which were only about a 20 to 30-minute walk away. You've gotta try the local food stalls, especially Fu Din Wang – the food was so good! And if you want some cool souvenirs, there are lots of old and famous bakeries nearby. The only downside is that it's a bit far from the MRT station, so you might need to take an Uber sometimes. But overall, it was a really awesome experience and I can't wait to go back!

Modern facilities with disposable bathroom amenities. Good soundproofing and they only have 4 rooms per floor.

Not enough place / hangers to hang clothes. My first visit to Taiwan and found out you have to throw your used toilet paper in the bin. Wished they had a closed cover bin instead. Breakfast was bad. It was also not in the hotel, we had to walk 5mins to another hotel for it.

Area is close to train station, hence I chose this location. However what I realised is that alot of the surrounding areas near train station are abit run down. Safe to walk at night etc, but probably not the nicest area of Taichung for first impressions

Breakfast was okay, good spread but food was average. Other than the food everything was excellent from the room cleanliness to the layout. Room was new which made our impress of the hotel even more memorable. Although room was a bit small to open 2 big luggage and walk around, it was definitely worth the price and we would stay here again if we were to visit Taichung

Our room were upgraded, very comfortable and the service staff were very friend and reacted very fast to our request. The bed was very comfortable to us.

The breakfast variety can improve, might be because during our stay, our breakfast was located roughly 5 mins walk away in the Guide Hotel.

The rooms were very clean and pretty. Behind the hotel’s street, were a row of shops and eateries which was fairly convenient.

The free breakfast was not located within the hotel’s property. We had to walk to another hotel.

location is central but not within the bustling area, can be quite quiet at night with nothing much to explore unless you walk 15minutes to a nearby night market
