Rooftop 6F, self-service laundry (40ntd wash, 30ntd dry) hotel and dorms door by code. opened room doors ~11-14 as changing bedsheets, fresh air, vacuum cleaner, mop in the 4 room floors (2F to 5F) can store bag for free if arrive early. Have better Internet speed. Likely not enough for hostel capacity. Have a snorer friendly dorm so others can have good night and less risk of being annoyed. should be easy considering the high number of dorm rooms.

Great stay. WiFi was good. There’s an elevator, washing & drying machines and you can also hang your wet clothes. There’s are 5 floors, we were 4 girls in the room, there were 4 showers and 2 toilets at my floor, a huge full body size mirror. There’s a nice kitchen with free tea, a TV and lots of seats. You can leave luggage before check-in. There’s a 7/11 in front of the entrance, very convenient. The area was good. You can sit on the roof if you’re waiting for laundry and theres a nice view. There are codes for the main entrance & each room so you don’t have to carry a key. Thank you 🥰

Not enough space to hang clothes at the showers, pretty tiny. Hot water takes too long to start.

Clean and comfortable, with modern facilities, good beds, clean bathrooms, nice little common area with tables and chairs (sometimes not big enough for the number of people who wanted to sit). Overall very nice!

Honestly the only thing that was an issue was the WiFi. Sometimes it really didn’t work at all, and it was never actually good. It worked a little better in the common area than the room but not great in either, especially at crowded times. Never really enough to video call or anything.

At first its superb location, pretty close to Taichung station and bus stops hence day trips to Sun Moon Lake and Lukang were pretty easy and smooth. Staff were kind and doing jobs properly. My room and common areas were reasonably clean. Has a hairdryer and each bed has an outlet and lights so as curtains. Bed was comfy and AC was strong enough for hot and humid weather. Would recommend if you visit Taichung and surrounding areas.

Facilities are a bit aged but things were still working well so not a big problem. The kitchen and common area were a bit small to accommodate many guests. And the fridge was quite small too so things were quite jammed inside.

Right across the street from 711. Even though there were 8(?) beds in the room, the room was large enough that it didn't feel cramped. Nice enough "lounge" on the main floor.

My only complaint is the bathroom layout. The toilet stall door basically can hit the sink, meaning that if somebody is at the sink, you have to ask them to move so you can use the bathroom. It'd be nice to have a hook outside the shower area, or some way to be able to balance your dry clothes/towel when showering where it isn't such a challenge.

It’s close to the train station and the hostel is very nice.

It would be better if the staff remind the guests to hang their clothes on the top floor. The smell of wet and dirty clothes was really bad.

This is my third stay. The location is great and places are highly accessible even by foot. I appreciate the location more now, since Taichung bus rides are no longer free for tourists within the first 10km. There's a 7-11 right across the hostel. The kitchen is fully equipped so you can buy your ingredients and cook your own meal. (My friend cooked adobo for us.) Beds are decent and comfortable. There's a curtain for your privacy, a wall shelf, and bed light. Dorm rooms are spacious for you and your luggage. AC works perfectly. Basic toiletries included (tissue, shampoo, body wash, slippers). Towels, toothbrush and paste, not. Hostel is generally safe. There's a code for the reception door and room door. There were minimal earthquake aftershocks during our stay, but the hostel is still safe. Just stay calm.

Not really a dislike, but we came in too early for the day (from Taipei) although we booked for the night before. Receptionist came at 9AM so we had a long wait. Some guests won't give out the passcode or open the door for you for security, which is understandable. So make sure you contact the hostel for the passcodes if your arrival time is outside regular reception hours.

Very good location. Closed to many attractions and to the train station. Clean. Comfy bed. Free tea and coffee. Big communal area. A tuned guitar.

The first night I was in a big room with a big window looking at the street. The street is quiet. The second night - that I booked directly with them - they moved me to a different room with a tiny window overlooking the inside patio.

Great location, about 7 mins walk from Taichung station. Beds were not creaky, with curtains for privacy. Room was of a nice cool temperature. There were 2 toilets and 4 showers for every floor, which is largely sufficient.

The soundproofing in the room is quite bad, so you could hear all manner of sounds outside including someone spitting in the showers 🤮 that being said most guests were very respectful of quiet hours. There could be more hanging space though, a rack could be installed at the end of the room.

The location of this property is very near to the major transportation facilities. The bed size is more than enough. Even a person of more than 6 feet in height can accumulate with ease. The 7-11 store is opposite to the Hostel and the major market is just a walkable distance. There is no need to keep room keys with you. All locks are operated with a password. There are two washrooms and four shower rooms on each floor. The kitchen is awesome and there is a big dining room. The staff can communicate in fluent English.

Maybe some space for hanging the wet clothes could enhance the facility of the property.
