The staff are very warm and nice! The people at the front desk know English well so they helped us a lot with arranging a private tour, telling us what's good around the area, and just answering all of our inquiries in general. They're very helpful. The breakfast is great, there's enough choices for a well-balanced meal in the morning. The location is near Taichung station (although you have to note that it's the TRA station and not the HSR station, those are two different stations, and the HSR one is quite far). It's also a few minutes walk away from Qin Yuan Chun, a michelin restaurant, highly recommend to eat here if you are in Taichung. Overall, we had a pleasant time in the hotel and we would definitely stay here again.

The room is a little small for families especially when you have a lot of luggage. There is no bidet or washlet in the toilet which is a shame, the hotels I've stayed at in Taiwan had one, so I was a little disappointed that they didn't.

Friendly welcome spotlessly clean very convenient for station and downtown shopping and easy 30 mins walk along walk to arts museum area. Wide selection at breakfast served in big dining room overlooking Main Street. Lovely form bed and great drink/little biscuits in room as well as good quality toiletries (fixed to wall these days!) and good power shower my favourite stay so far but most expensive too 🙄

The location was pretty good with buses right outside, places to eat, and a post office/exchange a block away. Buses were available to almost any place in town, and 11 min or so to the train. You can do breakfast with your stay, it wasn't bad, sort of a brunch, more on the Asian side we did it twice, but many options around the hotel. i would definitely stay here again. The best part is free laundry!

I think the rugs are getting a bit old, either Steem cleaned them or at least in my room, they need to get replaced. They should get a darker color when they replace them so it won't show stains that normal rugs acquire through time.

There are rich dishes in the breakfast bar, and every dish was named in Chinese, English and Japanese. I think it's beneficial for the international tourists know the Taiwan foods.

The insulation isn't great because the building is not new. I can hear conversations from the next door while sitting at my desk, but it's not a big deal. You only notice it if you're close to the wall; otherwise, it’s not bothersome.

It is right in the center of the old town. Ten minutes walk can see lots of things, including an open air market next to the old train station. Night market is within 15 minutes walk and the most interesting part is the time walk avenue right next to the new rail line.

Close to transportation, location is great. The staffs are very nice.

Laundry room next to guest rooms, would be disturbing if you live in one of the rooms. And disturbing for other guests too since for noise concerns, it closes at 23:00. Two out of five gym facilities are useless.

My room was upgraded, and I ended up with a very spacious suite room. Everything seemed very clean. The location itself is convenient and central to a few attractions. The staff were also very polite and professional.

The hotel is clean and the room very comfortable. I would stay here again! Lovely staff members, vey polite and patient. Breakfast was good with lots of choices. The location is excellent.
