Faultless location for us. We took the local train from Taipei (NOT the HSR, which stops at a different location) & arrived at Taichung station, just a 15min walk to hotel. From Sparrow, we could get around easily to Second market, Yisheng night market, Taichung Park, Taichung meatball restaurant and Suncake museum. Staff were patient & kind. Rooms were clean, no musty smells. The eating area in the foyer was really user friendly with a microwave & coffee/tea facilities.

The staff was very friendly, especially the guy with all the cool rings who helped me check in. He was so helpful! The rooms are very comfy and offer a lot of privacy. Bathroom was great as well. The location is totally walkable from the main station even with a heavy backpack like mine and you can reach any part of the city center from there as well. Would definitely come back here!

I think it would be nice if they had a water refill somewhere in the lobby or on all the floors. Plastic bottles suck!!! However, when I asked the guy at the reception about it, he offered to refill my own bottle and I think you can get free bottles from them as well.

The location is perfect, close to Taichung main station, and Chunghwa rd night market, the Second market. If you are a solo traveller or with family, couple, the hotel you can not miss.

I was told that WIFI is used for whole travellers in the building, so the signal wouldn't be fast and stable from my room. If you want to use faster WIFI, you may need to go to lobby.

It seems to be a brand new small hotel in the center of Taichung. Excellent location, within a wlking distance of the downtown train station, comfortable for a moderate price. Hepfull staff. Unfortunately, my credit card was not accepted at the cashier, but they helped me to find a nearby ATM.

Not much. Just one snacks vending machine in the lobby seemed to be out of order.

The room and the location were excellent! I loved getting to know the staff. I loved the shower!!

This is the 1st hotel in Taiwan in which I stay that there are no laundry facilities. I was surprised.

Housekeeping doesn’t come to your room, I’m not sure how that works at this hotel. I had to get clean towels from the front desk.

Location is excellent. Check in process is very easy and very good communication.

Soundproofing isn't great. A lot of noise from outside and other rooms.

small rooms, on the checkout day the staff calls many times on the phone to let you know that you have to leave at 11 when the cleaning staff was not even around and the hotel was half empty
