Value for money. The private rooms are actually quite big with a bathtub. I checked out the shared showers too and they are quite clean as well. 3 washers and dryers on the top floor, with plenty of entertainment (board games, consoles, pool table). Service was great too. After getting my room i realised the window was unable to close due to a small opening and they immediately gave me another room (windowless but I prefer it anyway). There is a FANTASTIC breakfast rice ball place a minute walk away.

Location is not great but I think that is the nature of Tai Chung as public transportation is quite limited. However, there is the famous ice cream shop (tourist attraction) about 5 minutes walk away.

Stayed in a female only dorm. The design resembled a capsule and was rather spacious with more spaces to place your stuff than usual hostel beds. Also provide very basic breakfast (I would really recommend trying out local taiwanese breakfast outside though)

I'd like to think that my standards for bathroom conditions in hostels are not that high but there was this stench that wouldn't go away in the 6th floor toilets - I believe it's from the sewers? Was honestly quite unbearable.

Staff is friendly and kind, and the place is great for spending a few nights while exploring Taichung. It has a nice lobby for working, gaming, or enjoying coffee. 😇

Sometimes, the cleanliness feels a bit lacking, and for some reason, a few toilets are always closed. However, the hostel is packed, so it may not be easy to keep everything clean all the time. 🙏

I knew the staff already,Ive been there so many times every months.. this time I forgot my personal belongings oh wow the staff duty in the morning helped me and gave a key card so I could come inside the room to get my things..it was so amazing 😍🤩. Thanks So Much! And I found it.Kiwi hotel is a safest that I have experienced.

It's my first time to experience capsule hotel and they didn't disappoint 😌, clean, warm, with locker for backpacks, staffs are nice, clean bathroom / washroom. Free bread/breakfast and coffee in the roof top with nice view.

I got placed at the top bed even though there's a lot of lower bed vacant, it's a bit of a hassle going up and down just to get or do something.

Great location walking distance from the station with plenty of convenience shops and restaurants around. It feels more like a hotel as it's very polished. Good amount of showers and toilets and the pods felt really private.

Not super social but depends what you're looking for in a hostel.

It is very convenient because the hostel is really close to the Taichung Train Station. Staffs were really nice. And after I checked out, they even let me keep the luggage at the counter because I wanted to wander around the city before leaving. Overall, it was a nice experience.

As I was staying in a shared room, I wish the room could be more ventilated. cause our beds were small capsules which means there's only one way out. So the air was not able to flow into the capsule bed. The space got hot easily.

The price was really good for a quality hostel. The capsule beds were comfortable and had room for my bag as well. The bathrooms were clean and had baskets to keep your things while showering. The common room was huge with plenty of things to do and a great view! Staff was really nice. WiFi good everywhere.

The lockers cannot fit big bags, but they can store your valuables. The hostel is about a 10 minute walk to the train station, but there is not really much else close by. It made for a good overnight location. I thought 5pm was pretty late for check-in, and they store your bags in the lobby where anyone has access to them.

Great 24hr lobby service. Stayed in a dormitory room that fits 12, so depends on your luck it may be a peaceful or noisy sleep. Bath towels, toothbrushes are not provided, so you may have to bring your own. Location is decent, a 10mins walk to Taichung mrt station and near to the bus terminals to ferry to Sun Moon Lake

It was near the train and bus station. The hotel is accessible to various stores of the metro. The staffs were smiling and ready to help. All check-in process were clearly explained.

I understand that the hotel does not provide towels (I brought my own). Toilets should have bidet. There were four toilets but 2 were out of service (at the 7th floor)
