⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (5/5) I had a really good experience at Hotel Kiwi in Taichung, especially because of the helpful and friendly staff. When we checked out, there was a lot of heavy rain, and even though I had already checked out, the staff kindly let me borrow an umbrella so I wouldn’t get wet. She also allowed me to leave my luggage at the hotel after check-out, which was very convenient. When the hair blower in my room didn’t work, I asked about it and she immediately offered me another one to use about 30 minutes before check-out. She was so nice and accommodating. Thank you for the great service!

However, I was disappointed that the room didn’t come with bottled water or toiletries. Overall though, it was a pleasant stay thanks to the excellent service.

Good location, just a 5-min walk from Taichung Station. Although the room looks old, the bathtub is very clean, and the water current from the shower is very strong. Very comfortable and good hot water bath for those who have been out for the whole day and sweating a lot in May. Very easy check-out. Just need to pass the room card back to the front desk.

Too few plugs for charging. A lot of homeless people along the street. The whole street smells bad.

Breakfast is provided and its location is conveniently located near the Taichung Railway station, Miyahara, Taroko Shopping Mall and have buses to the various night markets and attractions! Moreover, my room had bathtub!! The staff have been extremely helpful when I had a broken luggage and some recyclables that needed their help with.

Soundproofing could be improved as I can hear people talking loudly midnight but yet not sure which room, as I am a light sleeper this affected my sleep a bit.

Location was great, just across the road from Taichung station and also there's a bus stop outside which takes us to Yizhong night market. Walkable to many locations, very near Miyahara and some markets. Big room, alot of space, comfortable bed, quite clean. Shower water was warm.

Only gripe was that the toilet was smelly and we had to block the drain/open the window to air it. Ventilation was not the best. But the size and location of the room made up for it.

Is near to Taichung TRA station, to be exact just opposite (front station). Is also near to yichung street market and second market which sells a lot of snacks at wholesale price. Just a few bus stop away. The famous bakery is just behind the hotel. Staff are friendly, bed comfortable and clean. Downside the pillow too soft and hotel lobby too small compared to others outlet. Few convenient stalls around hotel.

The hotel's location was very convenient and near the train station. The front desk staff was so friendly and helpful especially to foreigners like me. The hotel room was kinda spacious, spotless clean and organized. I really liked the bath tub, I didn't know it came with one so I was truly delighted when I saw it. It was a pleasant experience to be staying at such a hotel for a quick personal trip like that. I will definitely come back!

Locations is great. Right in the old train station city centre. Very handy to travel to and from. Beds are super comfortable. And the buffet breakfast was more like local Taiwanese style with strong coffee as an option. With the price we paid as a family of 4, this hotel was definitely provided great value to stay. We highly recommended.

Car park was not easy to find. It requires you to go check in first and then the reception will provide you information relating to where you can park.

Walking distance to Taichung train, bus station & mall. Theres a convenience store down the hotel. They have a water dispenser with hot and cold in the hallway. Theres a self service laundry area(wash and dry) at level 7. Reliable internet connection. Comfy lines

Not enough supply of clothes hanger, just 2 pcs. No clothes iron or steamer available for request.

The kitchen staff (the old woman) doesnt seem so nice. We are a couple and the front desk staff gave us 1 ticket for the both of us. The old woman asked us why we only have one ticket for dining. Its okay if she asked us nicely. But she was almost yelling at us infront of many people.
