We arrived earlier than the check in time. We were advised to store our luggage there and come back to check in later. The staffs are friendly, ready to help and gave us good advice. 谢谢你们！ The room is spacious dan clean. Slippers are prepared so everyone help to take care of the cleanliness of the bedroom. The beds (double deck) are not too soft and very comfy for us who had a long journey. The bathrooms are sparkling clean. Hair dryer is available. Hot shower is something really great after a day of sightseeing in the city on foot. Breakfast is included. Though quite simple, taste good and very filling. The common area is very comfortable. We enjoyed our quiet and non-disturbed hours there. Hot beverage is available always. The location of the hostel is very strategic. Bus stops are in walking distance, found in all directions. Lots of eateries and shops around, old and new. Convenient shops such as 7-11, family mart and Watsons are just nearby. We even found the post office just next to the hostel. There is a night market nearby of which the stalls are run by various local artists (本地艺术家) displaying their own products. Good experience to explore and enjoyed ourselves. Washing machine and dryer are provided with the minimum charge. Very convenient for travellers.

I stayed in the hostel for 3 nights and really liked the general vibes. Everything was clean and modern, spacious bed, AC in the room, clean and "comfortable" showers, great common area with eating space + chilling area + meditation area. Also huge plus for the cute smiling cute and the kind staff! Also good location, in the middle of the main attractions points and just next to bus stops (also lots of shops around, with a 7/11 in front).

The curtain on my bed didn't close all the way (did put my towel on the left). Nothing major though, and I didn't get bothered at all (was on the far left of the dormitory).

The staff were very nice and helpful. Good location. Many restaurants/business nearby. Starbucks is right on the other side of the street. There is a shopping mall (more food choices) within 5 minutes walk.

The free breakfast was a bit lacking. There is toast and that is all. If you stay on the 7th floor, you might hear people moving chairs on the 8th (lobby). I was waken up by the noise but only on the first day. Seems I got used to it the next few days.

The hostel is taken care of really well. Everything is clean and well organized. The communal space is big and has a lot of seating available. The shower had a lot of pressure. The bed was comfortable but because I am quite tall I did feel somewhat cramped. Free breakfast was very basic but it did the job. Location of the hostel is good.

My dorm had no window so I really disliked being in a box with an A/C blasting. Water from the potable water faucet was quite lukewarm. Hostel did not have a travel vibe at all. Only people working on their laptops at night. Not anyone trying to socialize. Did not like the fact that there were fish near the reception in very small fish containers. They do not belong there.

What elevated the overall experience during our stay in Stray Birds is the staff there. They are all very welcoming of us, and were able to strike up conversations and socialise together. Facilities such as rooms, toilets, and showers are maintained nicely. However, sharing rooms with strangers comes with risk of not getting a good nights sleep, but it is to be expected, which is something that is outside of the hostel’s control

The room is clean, spacious and full of amenities. It located in a modern building with 8 floors. My friend and I stayed on 7th floor. We booked a mix of dorm rooms 1 week prior to coming to Taichung. The bathroom is spacious and convenient as well. My friend really liked the space of bathroom. What I liked most is the lobby with cafe pantry. We can have breakfast, cafe and work there. The view of the city is nice as well. The location is nearby many restaurants and places. We just walked around 400-500 meters (around 10-15mins )

Very comfortable beds, big enough with a curtain that gives you privacy. A/C working nice and well. Breakfast included, it's not that much (toast & butter) but they could give you nothing. Very big, comfortable and spacious common room/dinner area. Best showers.

A little far from the main points of interest of the city. Not a big problem as Taichung is not that big. The toilets need an urgent renovation, they might be clean but have seen better days. Some parts are broken.

There are many bus lines, convenient stores, restaurants and supermakezs in front of the hostel, which makes the location very convenient. The hostel itself is very clean, organized, spacious and the staff is super friendly and eager to help. The view from the balcony is superb. Really loved this place and would recommend to anyone!

Affordable price and it's great place for digital nomads, because the common area is huge and you can even buy coffee or some other drinks there. They also have pretty cool rooftop and free breakfast.

It lacks atmosphere a bit. The staff didn't seem much friendly, but maybe there was some language barrier. Anyways, if you are looking for a place where you can work during your travels or just a base for your exploration of Taichung city, it's great place.

Clean, near to many food places, staff were very helpful, huge open space to rest and do work, laundry services available, high levels of security (key access to specific floors and rooms, male/female floor separation)

While the female bathroom was verbally clean, there was a persistent unpleasant smell in the bathroom.
