Excellent room size, big windows, and a nice balcony. We chose the quadruple room with two double mattresses on top of a tatami floor. It was well decorated. The hotel is modern and spotless. Adding to that, we had the fanciest shower in our bathroom, where you could control the temperature and push different buttons depending on where you wanted the water to come from. The free rental bikes were a pleasant surprise, and we went biking twice: once to the Night Market (only 5 minutes away) and the next day to Shennong Street, a historic road (about 10 minutes away). I forgot my International Driver's License at the front desk, and they contacted me a couple of days after we left. They showed another level of hospitality and mailed it to the next hotel I stayed in Taipei. Thanks to the kind hotel staff.

The hotel is within walking distance to many downtown attractions and not far from the main train station, moped rentals or buses. We like the breakfast a lot as the hotel offers a good variety of choices. It is hard to out-compete what is available in a city famous for food, but we felt that the hotel's breakfast was decent. The staff was very friendly and helpful, keeping our baggage for us until the night after check-out. This was handy when we bought quite some stuff to take back. Also, the hotel made best use of the available space, so the cafe on the ground floor feels open, but at the same time retaining a bit of privacy. The bathroom of our room is not next to the room door, instead in a corner in such a way that it felt hidden. There was a good balance between hotel's style and comfort, so the room decor did not veer into tackiness.

The air-conditioning seemed to be centrally managed. We were not sure when the temperature would go to default or why the temperature could not be adjusted downward. We had to ring the receptionist, who then changed it for us.

The staff was extremely helpful, the room was clean, housekeeping left snacks and water daily, the hotel location was very close to many eateries, breakfast wasn't as expected but they were tasty set meals provided by a local eatery. Because I like to walk, I liked the 40 minute walk from the train station (TRA) to hotel. I would definitely stay here again.

The water was turned off one afternoon, with no warning given by the management.The breakfast was not as the website depicted.

The room was spacious and tidy. Check-in was also super easy. Overall, you do not pay a lot of money for the accomodation, in comparison to other hotels in Taipeh. Nice feature: the free snack box (instant ramen, chips, etc.).

The breakfast selection was poor…there were no juices of any sort (the coffee/hot tea machine was out of order, as well), not many breakfast items in general, most of the food was cold and the staff was often not even in the breakfast room. In short, the most disappointing breakfast in Taiwan that we‘ve had and the only thing about the hotel I would not recommend.

The hotel was modern and tastefully decorated. The rooms were clean and cute with free local snacks that made us feel welcomed. The staff were extremely nice and jumped immediately to help us or provide information about what to do, where to go, and how to get there. I would absolutely stay there again.

could have used hand towels or face washcloths. There was a hook for them in the bathroom area but it seems like we just didn't get them. A guide for using the TV would also have been helpful.

Great location, near the Chikhan Tower and many bus routes. Probably the best hotel i've stayed st in Taiwan. They made special vegetarian breakfasts for me too. Best of all wete the staff... so kind, helpful and friendly! Thank ypu !

room is spacious. staff is friendly and helpful. 2 minutes walk to ChihKan Tower which is not just a major attraction, but also has bus stop in front of the Tower that double decker sight seeing bus, some other tour buses, local buses all stop there.

We booked here when our previous accommodation fell through at the last minute, and we were very glad we did! The breakfast was really good, and rotated each of the 3 days were were there, so there was always something new to try. It was all various Taiwanese classic foods! The location is very convenient with easy walking distance to a variety of museums.

Perfect sound proofing, very nice staff, good location close to attractions and public busses. Nice breakfast most of the time.

The last two days, buffet breakfast was replaced by rice congee and a lunch box.
