Location

Based on price, it is in an acceptable condition. We did experience following issues: 1) Power (Electricity) cut off in one of (2) rooms (same issues as mention in one of other guest review), the technician came very quickly and show us how to reset, no further issue after that. 2) At (after mid) night, the sewer (drainage) system will make some sound and backflow (bubbling). Common issues if you live in old apartment before 3) (Common issues in hot spring places) Walls & ceiling with some spotty paint peeling, leakage (stain) sign, marks (mould) between few grouts between wall tiles in wet area. If you are expecting a spotless place, then you should conder other 5 stars and pay more for accommodation.

- breakfast barely changed (stayed 3 nights and the food are quite the same) -When booking through booking.com, there’s no clear ownership regarding who can help you with the booking issue ( tried to check if can postpone or cancel the last day due to typhoon). When asking the front desk, they will refer you to the website, and the website will guide you to self booking management and tell you it’s best to ask the property…. We eventually changed nothing, but would be great to get a clear yes / no reply from the front desk.

- I liked the location, close to tourist attraction, restaurant around the hotel and close to train station - I liked that they provided snacks and drinks for free - hot spring in the room, make it so easy to enjoy any time - automate Japanese toilet

- the wifi was bad, it disconnected all the time - the ventilation for the hot spring in the bathroom didnt really work as i still smelled minerals coming from the hot spring water that did not smell good. - the mattress on the tatami bed was a little hard, it will be good for senior people, but not young people - the choice of the breakfast is not a lot, would be good if they provide bacon etc

Decided to stay in Sweetme Hotspring Resort for its close proximity to Xinbeitou MRT and in-room hot spring. Staffs were very welcoming, friendly and professional and will acknowledge at every eye contact. We chose Deluxe Double during our 2 night stay and enjoyed the facilities. Only gripe is the centralised air conditioning which we had trouble adjusting the temperature in the room. Breakfast was good enough to fill up our morning and consist of local and international cuisine. We recommend Sweetme Hotspring Resort for your next stay in Beitou.

Few minutes walk away from the New Beitou metro station, very convenient to get to places via metro and buses. Room size was ok, but felt like the space was not very well utilised such that there's enough space to open luggages. Toilet/room does not havs enough space to hang towels as well. Room comes with private onsen which is great and relaxing.

Breakfast selection was alright, can be better. Some dishes are different on consecutive days. Would be better if there's water dispenser.

The private hot spring in the room was great, and so was the staff service during check-in and out. The attention shown by the staff during the breakfast buffet was equally great. Overall, it was an awesome stay at the Hot Spring Resort, and if I ever come by again to Beitou, I will be visiting again.

The toilets could be cleaner. There were stains on the toilet seat and cover when I first checked in, but it could be wiped off with a wet tissue. It's a small issue, but something to improve on for the future.

They upgraded me to a room with a private hot spring bath. I enjoyed my hot spring in my room after sightseeing each day. The room was spacious & clean. The location is so good that Beitou Park is just opposite it. The Japanese style toilet bowl was impressive. The breakfast was delicious & had good varieties of both Western & Chinese style even though it's more Chinese orientated!

- Room temperature unable to adjust, it was extremely cold the first night i stayed - Breakfast need more variety, but they taste good! - The Sulphur smell in the room is extremely strong when using the hotspring, the toilet needs better ventilation - King bed is actually 2 single beds pushed together, a little uncomfortable as sometimes a gap will appear between

Location, clean and confortable room, super big bed. Staff was really nice and polite as well, they kept out bags the whole day as we arrived

Overall we felt the noise isolation was not the best as we could hear street noise even being on the 10th floor, also from the hotel itself. Also there was a problem in our room with the lights that kept going on and off during the night. that affected our stay but we also believe it was an isolated issue

Great location near train station and public transport. Super easy to locate taking MRT from Taipei to Beitou. A lot food choices around. My family enjoyed round the corner 葱油饼 store so much that they ate non stop. The attached room hot spring is so relaxing. Like the king size bed and the tatami tea table for friends and family to gather in the room.

The slight smell but suppose cannot be help as it is from the hot spring water. The decor is nice but with a little maintenance will make it better. Basically it is a value for money hotspring hotel
