Staff were all friendly and helpful, they managed to check me in earlier then expected as I had been travelling for almost 24 hours. Room was clean and comfortable, air con worked. I've stayed here before and I know the location, near the park and night market is good. The park across the road has recently had a refurb, which is nice.

My only fault is the breakfast, it's not great, not terrible, but with more focus could be much better. The hotel is not focussed on the western traveller, which I understand. One small tip, cook fresh eggs and replace the eggs which are out when they get dried out. Some road noise at the front which is to be expected and why I take earplugs.

The room is spacious. The location is across from a park, a 5 minute walk to a night market and 10 minute walk to the shopping area. The night market opens everyday except on rainy days according to our taxi driver. Note there is a food court in the basement of SOGO. The staff is polite and helpful and speaks English.

The hotel bills itself is a 5 star hotel; but it falls way short. The first thing that greeted us is the smell of the hotel. It smells like Chinese food, not a luxury hotel. Even though our room is on the 9th floor, we can still hear traffic through the closed windows. The air delivery system is noisy in the middle of the night even though we turned the AC off. The bed is very large but is furnished with 2 small and flat pillows. There are no extra pillows in the room. We stayed here for one night to get to the airport early in the morning. At 7:30 AM, it took us 30 minutes to get to the airport.

Staff were immediately responsive to requests, and proactive when dealing with a hotel boiler (hot water) issue which included: 1. Allowing for unlimited and anytime access to shower/bath facilities; and 2. Free breakfast buffet the following morning. The boiler issue affected many hotel guests however it was dealt within 24 hours. As noted above, staff proactively managed the situation and communicated with guests as to the issue and resolution thereof.

Booked a room with twin beds. It was large and we easily fit our two suitcases with plenty of room to walk around. Facilities were adequate and staff very friendly and professional. The location was close to a beautiful park and not far from the night markets. It wasn't hard to get to the hotel from the airport via a train and around 10 min walk.

We were there in August 10 2024 and what looked like a beautiful restaurant was closed. I would have liked to have dinner there. At checkout time it was a long wait at the elevators as a lot of other people were also checking out.

(1) Location - the hotel was very accessible as it was located along an artery road in taoyuan. The famous Zhongli Night market was about 10 minutes walk away. There was a SOGO shopping mall within 15 minutes walking radius too. It was surrounded by shops like cafe, family mart, local food shops. There was ample basement parking lots too although taiwan car parks were pretty tight in general. (2) The rooms were spacious and well furnished. We had a quardruple economy room & a deluxe executive twin room. Both rooms had comfortable beds, functioning air conditioners/heating, big toilets with good pressure water heaters. The rooms were well lit, spacious and clean. We did not hear any traffic noise at all although the hotel was located along a busy road. (3) Staff - the front desk could speak good English and would voluntarily guide us on surrounding area attractions with hotel map. All staff there always served us with a smile and were very polite, including the room cleaning staff. Very good service. (4) The posh ambience of the hotel made us feel good although the designs were the oldies kind. Together with the good staff service, we felt valued.

(1) We requested to have our 2 rooms to be at least on the same level, the closer the better. But we were given both rooms at the same level but in different towers??? The explanation provided was our room types could not be found in the same tower at our check in dates. If the hotel informed us earlier, we would have changed the room types to be close together.

It was quiet, clean, the room (Junior Suite) was large and cool. The location is great, close the exciting night market and park. The bed was super, nice soft pillows brilliant. Air conditioning worked well and was simple to operate, it was very hot when I travelled.

The food offering was not great. Certainly this hotel has improved there is a little cafe where you can grab a drink and pastry lunch. The breakfast service was average, lots on offer but slightly incoherent and of low quality. The coffee and juices were good.

The hotel is considered a 5 star but maybe not for modern standards. However it offers a very nice experience, big rooms and good staff. Just dont expect 5 star luxury or very modern amenities and you will not be disappointed. If id be in Zhongli id consider maybe staying again.

The breakfast could a bit more diverse. But on the upside it is close to the night market.

The room was clean. The beds were very clean and very comfortable. We appreciate the amenities in the room (new bottled water every day, coffee and tea packets, etc). The pool and jacuzzi were clean and well maintained. Finally, the staff was very kind and polite 24-7.

The sink might be leaking. Not a major issue. it didn't bother us much. It's just something the front desk may wish to know in the future.

Hotel meet expectations for a business travel. Very good whisky room in the hotel, but bar was still closed due to covid restrictions. Breakfast is reasonably served but cannot be charged to hotel room - needed to pay everyday.

I arrived on an early flight and asked for an early check-in, which the hotel doesn't offer. They offer an hourly paid usage of room, which gets much more expensive than the night rate. I offered to pay one extra night at the average rate of my stay and staff was rude. There is a coffee shop inside hotel, which only opens at 8:30AM - useless for business travelers.

I only stayed for one night, but the stay was very pleasant. Oldschool but luxury feeling. Big quiet room that can go fully dark; no annoying lights. Big bathroom with bathtub. Pretty much everything you would expect from a 5 star hotel.

Communication during booking/changing process. Oldschool electricity plug layout: No plugs near bed, no USB charging.
