Very affordable and well looked after and clean. It is run by a young family and they could not be nicer. First night the owner gave me a ride to the restaurant on his scooter, my shower stopped making hot water and he replaced the entire shower unit for me within 48 hours. Every time I ran into him in town he offered to buy me coffee. Just the absolute nicest couple. The property has a pool but I didn’t use it.

One thing I thought wouldn’t bother me as much as it started to is the distance from town and the beach. In the morning just going for breakfast I had to walk ten minutes. To town and the beach is 15 minutes. This wouldn’t normally bother me as I like to walk but I was wanting to do photography, if the rain started I was far away from home base. This is mostly my fault as I refused to rent a scooter. So this isn’t really against the property itself. Just know that if it could be an issue for you then it might be. This is also made up by the fact that it is closer to the Muslim side of town that most visitors don’t see, and you can get great and way cheaper food than downtown.

The room is big, it has a balcony and AC worked great. It’s apparently a family business and they clearly take good care of the place. The entire building is well maintained, including the pool area, and the owners are so so generous, helpful and kind. I was travelling alone and many times they approached me to talk and also offered fruits and pastries. I felt so welcomed there and I’m really glad that I picked this hotel as the last one during my 5 week trip. I will definitely stay there again when I return to Ao Nang! Although the hotel isn’t in the main road, it’s still very walkable (~ 20 minutes) and also easy enough to order a Grab. For sure the facilities and the owners hospitality make up for the location being a bit away from the main area/beach.

Everything was perfect!

The family that ran the property were friendly and welcoming; the husband bought me coffee when he saw me on the way to the beach one morning. They also provided me a plate of fruit one day and a pastry baked by their sister another day. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Although it was many hours after checkout until I had to be at the airport they had a luggage storage facility and allowed use of the facilities. The 24 hour cold/hot water dispenser was very welcome. It was in a good location - I’m quite active so a 15 minute walk to the beach was no problem for me but could be for some in the heat. It was far enough away from the strip to not be too noisy at night with those partying. I was worried as some reviews said it was noisy next to the road due to traffic, however with earplugs in I didn’t hear a thing.

I personally found the wifi could be a little patchy and unpredictable in my room but was better by the pool

Absolutely amazing stay here for 5 days with my girlfriend the staff here provide the best customer service we have experienced it is family run, there was days we would chill by the pool and the lovely staff would bring a plate of fresh fruit to us while in the pool free of charge, there is a drinking water machine so no need to buy water 7/11 10min walk away beach and centre about 20mins however there is a supermarket opened during day time around 8min walk this place is amazing for the price spacious clean rooms can’t recommend enough thanks again.

My partner and I stayed at the Morning Mini House for three nights. Upon arrival, the owner - unfortunately, we didn't get his name - was very friendly and welcoming. He was extremely forthcoming in offering recommendations for nearby restaurants, motorbike rental etc. and always had a new, delicious snack for us! The room was very clean and a good size for two people. There was a small balcony attached to our room which didn't have great views, so we only used it for hanging our laundry. The air conditioner in our room wasn't the strongest, therefore, needed to be on for around 20+ minutes for the temperature to drop to a comfortable level. The beach and main restaurant/shopping area is around a 20 minute walk from the hotel which wasn't a deal breaker for us as we rented a bike from a nearby shop. There's a great restaurant en route to the beach-front called Red Chilli Thai Cuisine that deserves a lot more attention than a very in-demand restaurant closer to the beach. Definitely worth a visit if you're staying at the Morning Mini House!

The location was very convenient, not too far from the beaches and the town. It’s within 15 mins walking distance, the area is very quiet, away from the busy roads, it has nice local bars nearby. The property owners were very friendly and helpful. The bed is so comfy, I recommend it.

The room is way too small, not big enough for two people and the suitcases. They don’t provide with enough toilet rolls and we had to keep asking for one everyday, it didn’t provide with a hairdryer and had to ask for one, so, not too bad. The place is not very clean and the bathroom had a smell.

It was our best hotel in south east asia. The staff was a 10/10 super helpful and friendly. We also did a free tour they offer that was the best, lets you really grab the history and essence of Hoi An. The rooms were also perfect and the swimming pool even if small enough for a swim after tourism. The breakfast was also great; we took fresh fruit, banana pancake and juice and almost explote every morning!

I will say it is a bit far from the center if you don’t like walking not your place but you can always get a bicycle. Only point would be to make the hotel an 11/10 is that the bicycles will be for free 🤭

Quiet but also only 14 mins walk to Aonang busy area! While walkong you will also find plenty of restaurants and massage places. Bed is large enough for both of us and we are not small 😂 I love the room I booked because it has balcony, we can smoke on balcony and it auper spacious for the price! Small pool you can dip in on a hot day!

Honestly 2 things 1.They can change the shower host 😂 2. TV was not much of a use. Bed soft Ac New Hot shower works Bumgun Great Location not bad for the price at all

The owner went above and beyond for us, he was very helpful and kind he gave great reccommendations and you could tell he really cared about his guests. Big, spacious and very clean room. The drinking water station is a great addition and very convenient. The pool was clean. Location was ideal. Rating on this hotel should be much higher in our opinion, best stay we’ve had in Thailand!

The couple owner were very nice with us, they spent time to explain us all the good place to go. We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The entire place was spotless, and the cleanliness truly stood out. The family who owns the hotel is absolutely amazing—so friendly, welcoming, and incredibly helpful. They went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. I highly recommend this place and would definitely stay here again!
