The room was comfortable, big, clean with a spacious balcony in front of the pool. The staff was helpful for booking tours, taxis and free shuttle service three times per day. We got new towels and free drinking water everyday.

Breakfast not recommended, basic and overpriced considering the average price. Next door you can have smoothies and fruit juices for 1-2 euros. The shuttle service was convenient but one way only. There was no shuttle to go back to the hotel, which is a minus considering the location. Indeed, the resort is 20-25 min walking from the beach/night market, but the road is hills and no sidewalk, so not really safe. WiFi was the biggest lowlight. No connection almost anywhere, very poor.

Excellent value for money! We booked for 4 days and extended for a week. Very pretty hotel, nice bed. It was a place to get away from the small chaos in Aonang. Very peaceful in general.

Location is not great, there is a shuttle to the beach but it’s only one way, they don’t pick you up from the beach 😅 bedroom is quite dark and you can’t let the curtains open because it’s straight to the common areas (not that negative because the view is great). Bathroom is very dark, we had to light a lamp from our phones to shower. The water pressure was terrible and the shower/sink only got warm when it wanted to.

Friendly staff, easy check-in, very comfortable bed and pillows, great A/C, TV with Netflix, Prime etc., best shower I had in Thailand (hot and powerful), smaller secluded jacuzzi pool away from main pool area, rooms cleaned/beds made daily, free shuttle to/from Ao Nang beach multiple times per day, great steak restaurant close by (Carnivore Steak & Grill), lovely coffee shop on entrance to resort, close to Khun Suek Muay Thai gym and Heroic Fitness Gym (most equipped gym in Ao Nang)

The walk to town/Ao Nang might be a bit long for some people but the shuttle fixes that. Not much else to complain about. It was a lovely stay

Such a great hotel for the price - honestly couldn’t fault it at £50 for three nights in a spacious room with a really comfortable double bed. The bathroom was basic but fine, it was all very clean. The shower handle did come off once when I was showering and the tap had some issues that I had to turn it off at the pipe instead of the top part, but genuinely for the price I cannot fault it. The balcony was huge and clean and the staff were so kind. There’s also an adorable dog! It’s a tiny bit far to walk to the centre but the location is great and grabs are super cheap to go anywhere nearby. I would definitely recommend staying here! Also I am surprised by the negative comments. We didn’t use the pool as it wasn’t super appealing but it was completely fine. Secondly, regarding people having stuff “go missing” from rooms, I highly doubt this. The staff are so nice and if you don’t want your room cleaned just put DND and they will not come in. Super quiet at night and the curtains were great - total black out.

Very good 3* standard. Spacious room cleaned every day and a large, bright bathroom. I had a good rest and time here. You can eat breakfast at the hotel, they refill coffee and water every day. It takes about 20 minutes to walk to the center, but there is a free shuttle to the beach three times a day.

at first got a room with big stains on the bed, but they nicely gave me a new room that me and them would check first. big room with big balcony, when I had do not disturb sign on they did leave me some coffee, toilet paper, water etc which was nice. kind staff although it was difficult to communicate in english. overall good value for money

swimming pool much smaller than expected, location not too far from beach and food but difficult to reach because you had to walk on the road. you could not take the shuttle they provided back to hotel (I think, they didn’t understand my question)

The stuff were super friendly and easy to approach always with the smile on their face. The room was clean and they had 2 complementary water bottles each day. We parked our scooter right outside the hotel. The wifi was okay - wouldn't recommend for work though. It's within a walking distance to the beach however we used the scooter and I highly recommend that. For someone looking for the Thai street food for breakfast and snacks if you turn left from the hotel within 3-5 minutes walking distance there is a place they sell food and drinks by the road on the right side and they open around 6am up until I believe around 10 am. Overall great hotel and we enjoyed our stay.

The water inside the pool felt weird - nothing terrible but not what I'm used to based on the expectations from Europe.

The staff are sooo helpful/friendly. The bed was very very comfortable and the bathroom was modern, tiled, spacious and CLEAN. Our little bungalow was so quiet... basically it felt like we had a private pool since it was right outside our bungalow -and there was hardly anyone ever near us. You can EASILY walk down to the beach, loads of restaurants and shopping area. A short 10 minute walk to the Thai famous "7-11" right around the corner. :-) The entrance IMMEDIATELY captured my attention and excitement seeing the long driveway with lush and well-maintained landscape. I love this little gem!

I LOVED the sense of privacy and enclosure, but my husband wanted more of a sea view. We did that later at another place down Koh Lanta anyway coz we had several weeks here. It's nice to experience different places. I would DEFINITELY come back to Maleedee Bay another year.

The service was excellent at Maleedee Bay Resort and we were very happy with our stay. While the location was within walking distance from the beach and shopping area, I do suggest that you rent a moped to get around because this would increase your area of exploration. The room was very clean and the setup was very comfortable.

While the breakfast was OK, I would suggest that when staying at Maleedee Bay Resort that you seek breakfast from another patron. This was not a big deal at all because we were on the moped seeking new beaches and adventures anyway...

The rooms were great. Well maintained and so much space. The pool area is good but I do feel that it could be made a little more inviting. Staff were nice.

Probably the thing that was not so good for us but may not be off putting for some is the location. I loved that it was away from busy and over touristy Ao Nang centre, but that meant walking the road to find restaurants which was fine during the day but not ideal at night. The Hotel does provide a free shuttle into the centre which is helpful. I guess you can’t have the best of both worlds.
