Spacious room with separated bedroom and living room/kitchen. Nice swimming pool at the rooftop. Clean and comfortable bed and mattress. They have charged the electricity based on the kWH units used (8 Baht per unit) which is around 100 to 200 Baht per day for us and this is acceptable for us. It’s also an environmental friendly policy for energy saving. The manager is also very friendly and good service minded.

We have the noisy air conditioning unit in the bedroom but after we complained, the manager took action fast by scheduling the technician to fix and the issue had been fixed.

Great location, can walk to beaches and shops/restaurants etc. Clean and quiet building (we were on 7th/topfloor). Friendly helpful staff. Big comfy bed. Good in room facilities with large fridge and freezer, kettle, toaster and two ring hob. Efficient A/C unit, TV and small sofa. Very comfortable and adequate size for 2 adults. Nice pools both on ground level and on the roof where there is also a small workout area, sun beds and umbrellas.

Given that there are cooking facilities in the room, sadly there is nowhere to eat, other than on your lap. The small “coffee” table was glass and very heavy to move and not suitable to use to eat. Cleaning is every 4 days, which is fine, but the room should provide a small dustpan and brush and cleaning cloth to allow the user to keep the sand off the floors after the beach etc. an extra floor mat in the bathroom would also be helpful and a corkscrew!

lovely location with lots of space and gorgeous pool. staff were very friendly and welcoming.

electricity charged separately after completion of stay. hard to estimate cost of electricity and property can’t assist. the gym does not have any towels or tissues to clean the machines which is really gross. when raised told maid cleans the machines but that didn’t happen much as machines still had sweat marks on them from previous times several days later. tv package very basic and advertised Netflix not available so limited options for kids if you don’t have iPads or the like.

The flat was comfortable enough, we really enjoyed the jungley views from out of our windows. The swimming pools were lovely, although I cannot understand why nobody showed us around or told us there was another swimming pool on the roof! the roof swimming pool has absolutely gorgeous views. with the two swimming pools it seemed very good value. we had no issues with the staff who were friendly, available and responsive via WhatsApp.

There were a few issues: - the apartments have comfortable beds and sofas but are not well equipped, we had to request a dustpan and brush as no way to clean the floor, had to request a tea towel to dry dishes and the pans and knives were pretty poor. There were only two cups and glasses provided! worst of all were the ‘nest’ of small side tables in the living room made of glass which were all slightly broken so this was very dangerous with children. - the furniture around the pools is extremely tired, lots of broken bits on the top floor. - we didn’t really have an issue with the deposit or with paying electricity separately, they provided meter readings at any point and we do not feel at all scammed by it.

Friendly staff and a clean room with everything we needed to live there for 2 weeks. Cleaning was every 3 days which was great so we weren't disturbed too much whilst keeping the room clean. The pool and multiple gyms were brilliant facilities - one downstairs with running/cycling/rowing machines with weights and a yoga mat and another more boxing orientated with kettlebells, punching bags and weight machine on the roof. Lovely views from the rooftop. Staff were attentive with changing a toaster that wasn't working properly and providing us with more pillow upon request. The bed was fairly hard, yet surprisingly still very comfortable (we are used to quite soft mattress).

The kitchen knives were very blunt (although we probably could have asked for them to be replaced with sharper ones or be sharpened but didn't). When turning over in bed, it wobbled the whole mattress a bit so we disturbed each others sleep a little, although this wasn't too bad.

We checked in late and the reception guys had left. However, they had sent me a message on whatsapp on how to collect the keys. It was easy peasy. No issues. Room was cleaned every 3 days by housekeeping staff. Laguna and boat avenue are a stone's throw away. 7/11 is 200 meters away. Overall very nice stay.

The view of the room was bad. I am literally staring at the guests of Hilton hotel next door everyday. When I enquired with the staff, I was told that I should have booked a superior room. Unfortunately, this was not mentioned in the description.

First of all, the staff and particularly the manager who was always at the reception desk were incredibly kind and friendly, always ready to help and answer questions. The apartment was great for 2 people and had everything needed. My apartment had a balcony that overlooked a wooded area. This was amazing in the morning as I'd sit on the balcony, listen to the birds, watch the butterflies, and have my breakfast. The rooms were cleaned regularly. There is a lovely infinity pool and sunbathing area on the roof with great views over the area. If definitely go back again.

It's not so much that I didn't like it, and maybe I missed it in the small print, but at the end of the stay you have to pay for the electricity used! I was given a meter reading in my arrival and again when I left. Coming from a country (the UK) where the cost of electricity is at an extortionate rate, I did spend a lot of time, while in the apartment worrying how much my final bill would be and would I have enough money to cover it. Perhaps a daily meter reading update on request would be good. My electricity bill was 900 baht for 2 weeks. Knowing that I would be paying for my electricity I became very aware of what I was using, therefore resulting in a reasonable bill. 😅

Perfect location, close to all restarants and the beach. Very good for families. Was't our first time in oceanstone so we knew what to expect.

There was weird smell from the bathroom. Also we didn't have washing machine in the room this time but some of the room have it.

Very well furnished and designed condotel, friendly receptionist and always smiling staff, from security guys to cleaning ladies and maintenance. Felt very welcomed here despite few hiccups during our 2 weeks here (which didn't affect our experience too much). We arrived during reception working hours (morning around 10 till 6 pm) so were able to pick up the keys with no issues, outside of business hours we saw security box with a guide on how to get in touch and pick up the keys right on the reception desk. Hotel is in the Laguna area of Phuket, walking distance from a Family Mart on one side and Boat Avenue on the other, where there is a bunch of restaurants, grocery shops, Central open air mall etc. Hotel has 2 swimming pools (one on the top floor was under maintenance shortly after we arrived) and 2 gyms. Getting to the beach would most likely require a transport/bike as the closest one is around 5 minutes bike ride through Laguna resort. We always saw a number of people taking a stroll to the beach as the walk is very pleasant and all the surrounding areas are very well maintained. Internet was fine for browsing, but don't expect to have regular zoom calls, as the connection (mobile included) is highly dependable on the weather (we were during monsoon season), but as far as we understand from other guests, it also depends on how far are you from the router (there are a lot of them on each floor). Overall this aspect was a bit of an issue but not too stressful.

The only thing we didn't really appreciate is the fact that there was a maintenance on the top floor's swimming pool area which we were made aware of after a couple of days after arrival. Probably a short note on the accommodation page or a message would have suffice. Nevertheless the other working pool on the ground floor is great as well. The maintenance is supposed to be finished now already (writing this review in the end of July 2022).

The apartment was relatively comfortable and roomy for two. The staff were all really nice as well. It was a good location halfway between the beach and the restaurants downtown - about a 10-15 minute walk in either direction. Also, Oceanstone takes deliveries from the Villa Market, which provides a really broad range of groceries, toilet paper, bottled water, etc.

There were two things that really could have been better. First, the building sits near the intersection of a pretty busy road. The traffic noise was a little loud. If I returned in the future, I would be sure to request a room at the back of building and away from the road. The second thing was a design feature of the building. The AC units are located outside on the balcony. If you ever wanted to sit outside, you'd be blasted with hot air from these units. It was, however, really useful for drying clothes.
