The property is perfectly situated,a brief walk to the centre of bang tao, but also right on the beach. The staff are absolutely brilliant, Thai hospitality is unmatched. A free upgrade and a late check out as we were flying at midnight. Extremely clean and staff working 24/7 to maintain high levels of cleanliness and presentation.

The property was fantastic overall. However the only negatives I have is that the breakfast for the price point overall, is not Up to the 5 star standard of the hotel. I’ve seen people saying similar and tend to agree. We stayed one night in the Hyatt in Kamala for a similar price range and that breakfast was phenomenal. Other than this, 10/10

They checked us in at the beginning to a room with no ocean view, but i booked ocean view room and told that, after what they moved us later, so it’s not a big deal. The deal was that they required a 3000 deposit (not mentioned in booking) and only credit card, good that nearest atm is 6 minutes walk 😅

We were upgraded to a two bedroom villa with a private pool from the landmark suite that we booked. I think because I had indicated that we would not like to be affected by renovation noise which the resort is currently undergoing. They didn't have to but we really appreciated the offer. The villa was huge for the both of us and we had an amazing stay there! The staff were all amazing and very open with the pricing of their services. They offered to book a hotel taxi for us instead of taking the hotel transfer as it was 200 baht cheaper. We appreciated the honesty! Definitely will return for another stay!

This is my first time staying at Dusit after my friend's recommendation. Honestly, I can’t express my feelings as everything was excellent, from the warm reception, from the staff professionalism towards the smiley goodbye. The hotel is super clean, breakfast amazing & don’t miss the afternoon tea plz. Last, a big thanks to “Supaporn Pana” who kept calling & asking if we needed anything, even if she saw us walking around, she would greet us and make sure that everything was OK. For sure, I’ll come again.

excellent breakfast and cocktail hour. Specialty dinners. The hotel gardens adjoining the beach provided plenty of shade to avoid being in the direct sunlight. Laguna golf nearby.....we played 3 rounds of golf, very nice and friendly. Lots of restaurants near to the hotel complex providing plenty of variety.

Afternoon tea was inadequate with a poor/limited selection of sandwiches. Too many russians both in the hotel and across Phuket.....they took most of the beach chairs very early in the morning!!!!

We had a fantastic stay at Dusit Thani Laguna. The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive. Our room was spacious, spotless, and included a cozy balcony with a partial ocean view. The beach was just steps away, perfect for swimming and unwinding. Breakfast was outstanding, with a wide variety of delicious options, and the resort’s beautiful decor and lush flowers added to the serene ambiance. While the on-site restaurants were excellent but pricey, there are some nice local dining options within walking distance. We highly recommend Dusit resort for a peaceful and relaxing getaway!

While the resort has a few excellent restaurants, they are on the pricier side. Additionally, its location is a bit removed from the hustle and bustle of areas like Kamala Beach. However, there are a few local restaurants within a short walking distance (on the beach side - 200–300 meters) that provide some cheaper alternatives.

rooms are very old and Grungy booked an ocean Room but couldn’t see the ocean - they moved us rooms were so old. towels linen . the crib they gave us was from the 60’s. sent it right back. my child can fall out and die. the kettle was from the 50’s will attach a pic

All the staff came across, during my stay, from the reception, to cleaners, to pool tower attendants, restaurant folk and everyone else, were all genuinely friendly, everyone you encountered, making your stay even more welcoming plus enjoyable. The breakfast was also really tasty and thoroughly enjoyed it each morning.

Even though the room service food options were great value, the quality of the food could have been better on some of the items ordered, i.e. not sure how totally fresh or clean some of the vegetables with one of the ordered curries were, versus the odd taste of them. Plus would have been great seeing alot more Thai food options on the room service as well. Along with the room I stayed in, the balcony had alot of bird droppings on the ledges and some on the floor of the balcony, I would have expected it to be cleaned away, at least after the next room cleaning but was the same condition throughout my 5 days stay there, which meant I hardly used the balcony.

I stayed in the club rooms, I had direct access to the beach as well as literally 20m away from the breakfast area at La Trattoria. The room was slightly musty smelling on the first night, but I expected that as they had prepared another room for me originally, but I paid for the upgrade to club rooms at the counter. To the hotel's credit, they did provide me a machine deodorizer free of charge to use the rest of my stay. The sheet and towels were all crisp and in good condition. The pillows were slightly on the soft side for me, but my daughter love it so it's net-net even I guess. The breakfast is great but not stand out remarkable - however after 10 years of coming to Phuket staying in various hotels 3 times a year (except during covid times), the breakfast would be in the top 20% of hotels. The staff, however, is what made the 7 or 8/10 for the hotel become a 9 or 9.5. Everyone is personable and goes out of their way to assist, and there is not one person among the staff that looks even remotely unhappy. I went on my birthday weekend, and I did not highlight that it was my birthday. The staff however, pleasantly surprised me with a very nice chocolate cake and the resulting photo with me and my young daughter turned out to be one of the natural unposed sweetest photo she and I have had this year. It is now my phone lockscreen wallpaper - and also a memory I will forever cherish.

Though no fault of the premises, the time of the year I went was in August 2022, and the waves/winds were fairly strong. Throughout the 5 days, we sadly did not have the chance to build sand castles on the beach, as the warning Red Flags were always up during our stay. We will be back again in December to try again.

The swimming pool area: the team are not very well trained to handle the pool area ... not attentive when we request food or drinks around the pool area. I need to highlighter: the pool team, regarding towels delivery and attendants in the bar area, are super friendly and polite.
