From the moment we arrived the staff ensured we were comfortable and relaxed. We loved relaxing in and around the pool and the outdoor massage was amazing. Room service was easily accessible and food was delicious. The swim up bar was also a great addition.

The restaurant hours were somewhat confusing, with some information showing it was open for lunch but when we went down they informed us they were closed until dinner which was a little disappointing but we were still able to order some takeaway pizza which was delicious.

Pool was very good but water too warm,breakfast was great for Thai people but not so good for British

In our block we were the only British,the rest were German and they all sat outside smoking,some smoked dope.They also gathered around my pool talking loudly for hours on end giving us no peace.

Very very beautiful place, filled with big clean beautiful swimming pools, even when the hotel is full you can feel so much space… Very easy to chill around this big hotel, on the grass or by the pool… the bar is great, staff are super nice! The room was huge, very clean and inviting although the facility is not new, they take such a good care of it. The location is absolutely perfect! And people don’t realize the importance of a good location in Khao Lak… :)

Maybe the only things I would say is that the pool towels are ran down… and the pillows of the bed- way too soft… but other than that- amazing stay!

Great hotel, definitely book a pool access room they are great, we were around one of the smaller pools and it was generally very guiet, they have also added double seats on the patio which have not appeared in any pictures a lovely place to read a book in the shade. Breakfast good but slightly limited, easy walk to many restaurants, market, tsunami monument and beach. Would definitely recommend and would return.

The Water Wing of the property is absolutely amazing - set further back from the entrance it is extremely quiet and peaceful. The pools are amazing - clean and inviting. The staff go above and beyond to make you comfortable - they assisted us with everything we needed. The rooms are extremely clean and up to date with excellent wifi and air conditioning. The location of the resort is also perfect - surrounded by shops and restaurants within walking distance.

The only thing that could be improved was the breakfast area - it was quite hot as it is alfresco and there were some flies but this can’t be helped as it is half outside.

We visited in January 2025. We had a pool access room. The pool to our room was a good size and not attached to the main pool. We did have full sun in the afternoon onto our patio, but it wasnt an issue. The room was very spacious. Clean. Nice size patio, as well as an area to put the sunbeds in the water to take in some sun. The Room was serviced daily, and new towels were provided when required. Staff were very friendly. Reasonable selection of Asian and continental at breakfast. Excellent location to bars and cafes.

It isn't a criticism. However, I found the bed slightly firm. I had the opportunity to get an additional pillow top for bed, but I opted not too. This shows how the staff were able to meet our requirements

Great hotel with fabulous staff. Swim up pool room is the way to go. We will be back.

The block we started in next to a chicken farm where the rooster crows at 5am. Room change easily arranged but it was low season.

The Waters was in a really good location, few minutes walk from the beach and also really close to lots of shops and restaurants. the night market is max 10 minute walk at the end of the street. this is definitely worth a visit. plenty of pool loungers to go around and breakfast selection was really good. we rented a moped just outside the hotel which was good value for money and quick and easy to sort.

our swim up room was lovely, only thing is the pool tiles look a little dirty compared to the photos. Also our swim up room wasn't by the main pool as booking photos may suggest it was down a side part so a little shaded.

Loved the huge pool and the grounds. We had a pool access room and loved being able to walk straight into the pool. It had both a shelf and steps to get in which was great. The room was very comfortable with decent storage and large bathroom. Location is great for being able to walk to many bars and restaurants. The vibe around the pool bar at happy hour was great, it’s just a pity the cocktails weren’t great.

Breakfast was fine with lots of options but we thought the quality was very average. Disappointing for a hotel like this. We ended up having smoothies across the road instead. Happy hour cocktails were awful.

The hotel was beautiful, so many options for places to swim and relax. Loved the swim up bar and breakfast was fabulous with so much selection. The rooms were beautiful and the daily cleaning from the staff as well as room service was great. We spent 5 nights in an upper pool access room which had private sun beds and access to the lower pools, we loved it so much we extended a further two night in pool access rooms. Location was amazing, 5 minute walk to the beach and night markets, so many near by bars and restaurants too. Great Italian food at Pinocchios if you fancy a change from Pad Thai!

Rooms had a slight damp smell and some areas of damp peeling paint and slight wear to the room in. This didn’t bother us at all though and I imagine for most would go un-noticed amongst the high standard that follows in the rest of the resort. The only disappointing thing throughout our stay was the fact the water access rooms we paid extra for when extending our stay, didn’t actually get much sun due to the position of them, unfortunately this meant we didn’t actually get to use our private pool space much as sun lovers, as we were only there for a further two nights we still enjoyed it for what it was! Plenty of the rooms have sun all day so just make sure to request if this is something you are bothered about, had we been there longer we probably would have done so.
