My husband and I had a wonderful four-day stay at Ariyasom villa to kick off our Thailand honeymoon. We chose it for its unique feel of a hidden oasis tucked away amidst the hustle and bustle of Bangkok, and that’s exactly what it felt like. We were amazed by how quiet and peaceful the hotel was, as if the trees above really can cut out the noise of the busy city surrounding it. The grounds are lovely and lush, with lots of birds singing. The rooms are beautifully decorated and comfortable, with lovely views of the gardens and pool. The pool is super refreshing, and made for a great place to cool off and relax midday. The free breakfasts were yummy, and we especially appreciated the fresh fruit juice and strong, delicious coffee. The hotel’s location is very convenient for public transport, with the SkyTrain a short walk away (Phloen Chit station being closest). The hotel is right on a canal, which has a boat taxi, which is super cheap and fun to take! It isn’t a touristy mode of transport, so it might be helpful to ask the hotel staff for advice. We had a local friend taking us around who introduced us to the boat, but once we got the hang of it, it became our favorite mode of transportation. Finally, the hotel staff and owners are extremely friendly, always making you feel welcome and helping with anything you need. We will absolutely stay at AriyaSom Villa again when we return to Bangkok. Thank you for a fantastic experience! :)

Most beautiful hotel I ever stayed in !! An oasis in the middle of chaotic Bangkok, recommend this hotel so much over all the large modern ones you find in the same price class. I’m so happy we stayed here, had a studio room in the 3rd floor with balcony. Super comfy beds, large room and amazing bathroom Also the breakfast a la carte is so much more charming than a Buffet in one of those gigantic hotels elsewhere. The pool is so beautiful and was great to take a dip after a long day in this chaotic city. No idea how people can give less than 10 points to this place, it was absolutely beautiful

A Hidden Gem in the Heart of Sukhumvit Ariyasom Villa was the peaceful oasis I didn’t know I needed until I arrived. After days filled with street trekking, temple visits, and mall hopping, this lush green villa tucked away in the middle of bustling Sukhumvit offered the perfect retreat—a much-needed pause before heading home. We received a warm lovely welcome letter with a basket of fresh fruits, plus smiles and kindness from the staff - very fitting as our room was named, "Metta", which means kindness in Thai. Despite being in the heart of the city, the property feels worlds away with its tranquil gardens, charming architecture, and serene atmosphere. The presence of friendly cats wandering around added warmth and character, and the staff were nothing but smiles—genuinely kind, helpful, and attentive. I indulged in an amazing massage that left me completely relaxed and recharged—just what I needed after an activity-packed vacation. The breakfast was another highlight: fresh-cut fruits, vibrant juices, your choice of a hot meal, and a breakfast beverage, all beautifully prepared and served in a calming setting. The location is also very convenient. It's about a 20+ minute walk to Terminal 21, and if you're up for a bit more walking, an additional 15 minutes will take you to Emsphere, Emporium, and Benchasiri Park. It’s close enough to the action while still offering a peaceful escape. If you’re looking for a quiet, soulful place to unwind in Bangkok, Ariyasom Villa is a rare gem. I’m so grateful I found it—and I already can’t wait to return.

Staff and owner David were really friendly and helpful with information about Bangkok and Thailand in general. Restaurant food was exceptional! Pool area was so nice, and wish we had more days to use it. Balcony was so nice, especially on the day it rained really hard, we were able to sit out and enjoy the surrounds without having to be in the AC. Bed really comfortable. Rooms older style, but very nice still.

Location was a bit challenging as it's located at the end of a long street, so took awhile to walk anywhere and taxi was a bit unsure about the location. In saying that, it meant the hotel was a reprieve from the chaos of Bangkok traffic and noise. Wasn't keen on the rocks flooring decoration in the bathroom as made it challenging using the bathroom at night on bare feet, felt this could all be timber/tiled flooring for comfort and hygiene. Lighting from hallway through bathroom also was a bit disturbing at night, as there was no way to block this out.

Loved this hotel, it’s a pretty oasis in the middle of the madness of Bangkok. Lush green plants, birdsong, beautiful pool and authentic buildings. The staff were pleasant and accommodating and the vegetarian dinner and breakfast delicious. Well connected with the train, local boat, taxis and tuk tuks. Getting around Bangkok is cheap and easy so don’t let the location put you off.

Our room was a bit dark and the bathroom needed renovating. Rooms in the newer part of the hotel with balconies are probably nicer. If you want pristine, clean white facilities this probably isn’t the hotel for you, it’s more authentic and rustic.

If you are thinking about booking Ariyasom Villa, do it! It is a tranquil oasis, utterly beautiful and a true respite from the city. It has great sky train links just a 10 min walk away making it a great jumping off point for the city. The vila is lush and green, and peaceful, and so many little thinks like candles lit at night make it truly magical. Our room was a garden room, and we felt surrounded by bird song and honestly it was a dream (as at times the city can feel overwhelming) - the ariyasom villa is a the perfect antidoe. I would stay here again in a heart beat. The staff could not be nicer, the food excellent and the room quiet, cool and comfortable. I would 100% recommend this as THE place to stay in Bangkok. It was beautiful and traditional Thai experience i wanted in visiting Bangkok . I felt like I had traveled in time and was in a set of a movie I didn’t know existed. With a delicious organic, vegan & vegetarian menu, I can’t ask for more! I also loved the traditional Thai massage in the upstairs outdoor porch, I got 2 of them. The staff was super friendly, and made me feel like I was the guest of honor in the hotel. Thank you so much.

I can’t think of anything. Maybe wished they had more air conditioning in more places, but they did have fans through out.
