Sooo lovely and such an amazing, professional and attentive staff! The hotel is so lovely and the breakfast buffet was quite ample and delicious! Love that it is so close to Bumrungrad! Can Do went above and beyond to take care of us while we were there… from arranging our tour, seeing a great show, and making appointments for our massages!! We loved Can Do!

This hotel is exceptional. An oasis in the centre of the pulsating city. Very centrally located, beautifully and tastefully furnished and indescribably friendly, courteous and helpful staff. We will come back here 100%. An amazing place to stay in Bangkok.

I recently stayed at Ad Lib Hotel with my elderly parents, and we had a truly wonderful experience. Despite being located in the heart of a busy area, the hotel felt like a peaceful and cozy resort. What really stood out was the exceptional service and warm hospitality. The entire team went above and beyond to take care of not just me, but also my parents throughout our stay. Their kindness and attentiveness made a big difference. We would absolutely recommend Ad Lib Hotel to anyone visiting Bangkok. It has now become our number one choice in the city, and we look forward to coming back again.

I stayed at the Ad Lib for four nights in June 2025. Overall, I highly rate this hotel if you are looking for a quieter experience and even if you're not, it's a fifteen minute walk to the bustle of Rama Road. I really liked the greenery, the sense of seclusion and quiet, and the restaurant was top notch! The breakfast buffet had an excellent selection and I thought the dinner service was really good. The gym has solid functional equipment (nothing special, but very practical) and the pool added a chill vibe. The room was clean and no-frills. Plus, if you're headed to Bumrungrad Hospital for a medical check this is absolutely a gem of a hotel. It's a five minute walk to the hospital and you can't beat that!

Only small things - my room had an odd layout where there was a pillar directly between the only table and the television, but since the streaming link stopped working after day one that stopped being a problem. I was also a little annoyed that I spent the entire day out of my room, came back at 4pm, only to have the housekeeping staff arrive and ask if I wanted my room made up. It's that kind of timing thing that can be frustrating when you're tired, but it didn't impact my stay overall.

It's a lovely property with terrific staff. The rooms are sparkling clean, the beds are comfortable, and the water pressure and hot water in the shower were excellent. The WiFi was also great. The breakfast is excellent and the bar area was a very comfortable place to enjoy a cool beverage after touring all day. We also enjoyed the one dinner we ate at the hotel.

I question some of their design choices. The elevator does not go to the main lobby floor. The bathroom in our room had a frosted window between it and the bedroom, so every time one of us got up to use the bathroom in the night, the light shone through to the sleeping area. The location is a bit of a hike from the BTS, although they have an electric cart that will take you to the main road, which is more halfway to the station.

We love this hotel so much that we've stayed here twice! The staff feel more like family to us—they always go above and beyond to make us feel welcome and cared for. It's the perfect place to stay if you need to be near Bumrungrad Hospital, with a super convenient location. The breakfast is another highlight: delicious, healthy, and a wonderful way to start the day. Thank you for consistently showing such kind hospitality to our family. We truly appreciate it and look forward to coming back again!

One small thing we noticed was a difference in room size between the two buildings, even though the rooms were listed and priced the same. We slightly preferred the room to the left of the lobby, as it had just a bit more space, which made it more comfortable for us as a family. Also, there weren't many additional facilities available (like a pool or kids' area). While that wasn't really the purpose of our stay, a little space for our toddler to play would have been the icing on the cake of an already great hotel.

The property is absolutely stunning, nestled away from its urban surroundings. It’s truly unique and beautifully designed. The staff are incredibly helpful and friendly and made us feel comfortable straight away. They arranged a taxi for us very early in the morning to the airport which was a big help to us and it was cheaper than if we did it ourselves. The bedroom was wonderful and just what we needed after a long day of walking. The property itself is only a 5 minute walk to the nearest metro, and the metro is so easy and cheap to use which is really recommended if you are ever travelling around the city. Only takes 30-40 minutes to get to the big sight seeing spots. Much preferred to the overpriced tuk tuks and grabs which are always stuck in traffic. The area itself is what you expect from urban Bangkok but it’s vibrant and interesting. We loved it The breakfast is also fantastic!

Lovely tucked away paradise. Service was very friendly and helpful. Looked forward to breakfast every morning - it was top notch with excellent local cuisine and fruit with standard breakfast fare (fantastic coffee, tea and ice lattes). Room and facilities were excellent! Great food and dining experience. Away for the core tourist areas and traffic makes getting places a bit lengthy. But walking distant to a vibrate neighborhood with restaurants and night markets.

Should upgrade plastic bottled water to glass bottled water like some other hotels.
