Nice breakfast. Spacious rooms. Friendly staff.

The hotel is old and you can smell it in its corridors. The furniture is a bit outdated.

Very friendly staff, easy to communicate with, very helpful and honest. Although there is no halal food available, vegetarian food is available. The room is always neat and comfortable. Basic requirements that are constantly updated.

It is very good if halal food is also provided. No Iron provided, not enough plugs, air conditioner without remote and limited television broadcasts.

The big size room fits 5 person family and availability of extra bed. Clean room & prompt roomservice everyday. Nice bathroom with bathtub. Nice pool. Breakfast was good. All the rooms are same size and have the same great view. There's always taxi or big car available down the hotel. Overall stay is very satisfied.

Only thing that negative was I had to walk a long way to go to soi 3 or soi 11 to eat Bangla food. Though soi 3 is very near but there's no shortcut connecting road.

A bit dated

The hotel has a great location in the center of Bangkok, making it easy to get anywhere quickly. At the same time, it’s not right on a main road, so it’s much quieter. Initially, there was a mix-up with the rooms—we had booked a new one but were given an older one instead. Once the issue was resolved, the new room was absolutely stunning: clean, beautifully designed, and well-maintained. In short, a perfect room with an amazing view. However, the breakfast was just okay—around a 7/10. The variety wasn’t great, there weren’t many fruits, and the coffee wasn’t good. For a short stay, the hotel is decent, but if you’re staying longer, I’d recommend booking a renovated room and getting breakfast at local cafés.

Great housekeeping staff, great central location, clean and spacious room with all the toiletries. Great pool temperature. Distance from Nana station is literally few minutes walk. Lots of food places around.

I think the hotel has started renovating, so I will be happy to see the results at my next visit as few areas are a bit dated. The sauna facility should not have been a paid service.

Location

Charges for extra cutlery for the room does not seems like reasonable. For extra two plates and two bowls the charges is 100 baht, plus there is no complimentary tea bags in the room. Every body don't like coffee, some prefer tea...

This property is old but functional, provides good value of money. The reception staff are okay, but others such as the cleaning and restaurant staff are nice and always smiling. The room was quiet and comfortable. This hotel must have been very good when it opened several decades ago.

It is a bit dated, we understand that some floors have been renovated.

We are coming to Bangkok since 40 years and the last 30 always stayed in the Benja. It is old but very cosy and comfortable. Huge rooms, friendly staff, good location , value for money. Even the notorious breakfast has improved this time. You also meet people from all over the world. Highly recommended

If you are so often here you are emotionally attached and don't find anything wrong.
