The location is central, though not right in the heart of the action, making it very peaceful. The in-house laundry service is a great added bonus. While the cleaner’s English was limited, they made a strong effort to address my questions and needs. Situated in a lovely neighborhood, I really enjoyed my morning walks to the gym, passing by the BTS station and Mahanakhon along the way.

My room was on the 4th floor, and without an elevator, it made carrying luggage a bit challenging. Additionally, there was a lack of garbage bins, which resulted in rubbish bags piling up along the main road – definitely an eyesore. I believe this issue isn't unique to this area, but rather common throughout Bangkok.

Very clean, there are space downstairs where you can communicate with other tourists and waiting while the room are not available.

You can hear everything from next doors. One night I can’t sleep at all cause some guys was partying in their room, too loud for hours. I was trying to go downstairs to ask for help but nobody there, trying to call but nobody answer the phone. At the end, it was too annoying, I must knock the door and asked them to keep quiet.

The single room has a very comfortable bed and good sunshine. I can open my 30kg luggage inside the room. Toilets and bathrooms are very clean. Some small corners for you to enjoy me-time. The table of living room has chargers for laptops and phones. Free coffee, tea, stable WiFi, luggage storage. Can also do yoga in rooftop balcony as yoga mat is provided.

No lift, the highest floor is 5. Though the house keeper can help you carry the luggage upstairs, you better help. And the house keeper doesn’t speak English so please contact the owner through booking or phone if needed.

A wonderful stay before I could find a place to stay for long time for working. Room very clean, daily cleaning each floor except for room, since I don't request for room cleaning and I like it this way. There is CCTV so I feel safe. The staff lady is very nice, she couldn't speak English but she will use google translate to communicate. The CS is quick response when you chat them on the app. Everything was very good.

The place doesn't have elevator, so you should tell them to give you room on 1st or 2nd floor if you have a luggage 20kg like me.

Privacy- not a social place, the guests keep to themselves. The one staff cleans really good everyday. All floors. Never seen shared toilets remain so clean, the other guests were not messy like they usually are in hostels. BTS 4 min walk away (St Louis station). Can interchange at SIAM (central world etc) for sukumvhit line. The lobby area is just big enough- big table for use. Good AC. Not noisy

Location wasn't so great for me. Expensive upscale cafes and restaurants, even regular shops selling rice and curry are small portions + more money, cheap street food is not available, except early morning. Staff doesn't speak any English. The bed mattress is little spongey- you sink in. Woke up with body ache. Sometimes there was a weird noise from outside at night, maybe AC or some machine. I could sleep through it. No one played loud music or spoke loudly in this area.

Cooper is situated in a nice calm side street, but still close to restaurants and supermarkets. Also the speedboat pier is only a 20 min walk away. The rooms are very clean and cozy, also there’s a nice eating area downstairs, although the hostel itself isn’t the most social one.

They do have a nice rooftop, which sadly isn’t maintained and the pictures on booking.com are outdated. It would be an extra having a nice sitting area there.

Second time staying here and everything continue to be flawless. Everything is very clean, super comfy room, the location is amazing. Mali takes super care of the place maintaining it organized and clean (we have our room cleaned and towels replaced every other day). Mai, the owner, is an amazing person and she built a place where you feel like home :) Absolutely love Cooper and we’ll keep coming back every time where are in Bangkok. The value for money is also fantastic! 10 out of 10.

The staff who stays there mostly of time can't say English so it's a bit hard to communicate (but she's really nice and try to use tools to connect to me). The bed is not too good because it's a bit noisy. The room is quite small with me. The toilet/bathroom is outside and very small too

Really nice option if you’d prefer to have your own private room with a comfy bed for a price that’s similar to a shared dorm. The common bathroom area is kept super clean, but I was also quite lucky as I was the only female on my floor so had the bathroom to myself during my stay :D. The place is located a few minutes walk from the St Louis BTS station, multiple 7/11 stores and plenty of cafes and restaurants/food markets - I recommend trying Belka which is a couple streets over. Staff are really helpful and friendly too!

If you’re a light sleeper like me, it can be a bit noisy as there can be a lot of chatter and motorbikes coming in and out of the alley throughout the night. Also, be warned if you have a heavy suitcase/bag! You’ll have to carry it up the stairs (even at the BTS station too) - but I’ve found this to be quite standard in my travels, not just in Thailand but globally! A good workout :D

It’s really good option if you don’t want to stay in hostel but still save some money. The housekeeper is really nice.

The place is a bit noisy (from back street, ac, etc), because of fine walls. Mattress - In single room the bed is on the floor and the mattress is so used (one side is fully sunken) and so soft that having a back issues I wouldn’t recommend it
