The rooms are very well maintained. Clean and large. The balcony over looking the pool and pipal tree was beautiful. The cleanliness staff is top notch.

This was our second time and a similar very curt and a non accommodating behaviour by the lady at the reception was a a disappointment yet again. We saw her interacting with other guests of European nationality and while she stated the same non flexible rules to them as she had done to us, her behaviour towards them was very jovial and welcoming. Both the times we’ve stayed with her, she seems to be very unfriendly and cold to us. The rooms however make up for her behaviour so guess o really don’t care much about how she behaves.

Returning to Baan Vajra is like coming home! Marcus and his team are always happy to see us, they can't do more to make our stay more perfect. I will not stay anywhere else in Bangkok.

There is nothing I would change! Love it exactly as it is- consistently wonderful and a hidden oasis with a magical garden in the chaos of a massive city.

The place is newly renovated from the old traditional house, but it turns out to be amazing and well preserving the building heritage. It is absolutely clean overall both in the room and around the place. There are also a very nice little pool and home-sized gym available if needed. Location is perfect. Situated around Silom area, you can conviniently travel around BKK by connecting to the closest BTS skytrain "Surasak" station or just slowly enjoy the walk to "Taksin pier" to take a boat tour along the Chao Phraya river. There are also plenty of restaurant to try around, with Seven-Eleven (24-hour convenient store) close by.

Only thing that could be complaint is that there is no elevator to get us up to the room.

Staff were really helpful and attentive. This nice little hotel is a quiet spot in the midst of the otherwise buzzing city of Bangkok. Really nice place. Bring mosquito repellant - there is a little pond on the premises.

A lovely relaxing place in the middle of bustling Bangkok. The building has an attractive old fashioned feel but is still comfortable and clean. The staff were super helpful and kind. We had a delicious Thai breakfast

The pool is a bit small for swimming and is more of a visual feature but given the boutique style of the hotel that isn't surprising.

It’s a nice quiet location away from the traffic. The room is basic, but has everything you need if you wanna explore the city and just use the hotel to sleep. The BTS is 10 minutes walk. Everything is a bit older, but it’s clean. Staff is friendly, we didn’t have much contact with them but it was ok.

Characterful property in the heart of silom, well connected to transport links but not tonnes of things to do in the immediate area. The hotel staff were welcoming and helped us with laundry which came out great. The room was comfy, very clean and provided great toiletries. There was also decent wifi and a smart tv. Noise was quiet for a city centre location - we didn't use the pool but it looked nice.

Our room had a musty//chemical smell that was quite pungent and abrasive (made us both cough when entered the room). I've seen this comment before and maybe its just our room (201) - the staff should check and make sure whatever is causing the smell is fixed (i.e. cleaning materials? fumigation? etc)

the owner of the hotel is very friendly also the rooms are well designed and very quite in the busy location.

Lovely quirky hotel full of character. Staff were great, friendly and hotel was very clean. Nice change from a big city hotel in Bangkok. Fabulous location, make sure to go to kudos coffee next door.

Worth taking earplugs, road was quite noisy.

I love this hotel. I had just come from a three star hotel in Pattaya. And they are so different.  I got a free upgrade to a beautiful large room. The overall feel of this place is peaceful and boutique. No large tour groups come here. Located within 6min walk to famous Soi with street food. 10min to nearest BTS. if you’re over the Sukhmvit area or vibe this is the place to stay in Silom.

the shower tiles in my room need an update. seen better days I think.
