Quiet, close to the airport, friendly staff and nice airport shuttle

Breakfast was very early compared to the rest of tourist life in Thailand. I am usually a morning person but nothing being open on the islands till much later had me in the late morning groove. I should have read the instructions from the hotel

We'd stayed at Pongsakorn some years ago and were quite happy with our stay there, so we decided we'd book with the hotel again due to its proximity to the airport. When we got there, we were very confused about how the place looked - as it was not the same building, though the rooms looked very similar. We did eventually realise that the hotel had shifted to the building next door. Apart from the hotel being in a different building, it really ticked all the boxes for an inexpensive overnight stay close to the airport. The airport shuttle was very popular and was charged by the room than by the number of persons, making it worth the cost for the 2 of us - it was pretty cheap anyway. Overall, one really can't be too unhappy about anything for the price.

The bathroom was one of those wet room style set ups, so the whole place got pretty wet after a shower, but no real big deal. The aircon struggled to cool the room but it did eventually manage.

I knew I was going to be exhausted after a total of 16-hours flying plus 1.5-hour wait for the connection, so I chose a property with in-house airport shuttle. And I was indeed very grateful to be picked up by the hotel driver. The next day I met a couple at the airport who ended up spending as much for their accommodation as the taxi rides to/from Suvarnabhumi Airport, so they were very unhappy! I also chose the room with breakfast, and that was excellent too. It's prepared when you're ready to eat, and there are several options to choose from. I had rice with squid, which was served with fruit, plus bread with butter and jam.

The only problem I encountered was the the automatically generated instructions from Booking(dot)com, which told me to go to the wrong floor. Luckily the receptionist that night was on his toes, and replied very promptly via WhatsApp when I contacted the hotel for help!

My stay at Ponsakorn Boutique Resort in Thailand was an unforgettable experience, thanks to its tranquil setting and welcoming atmosphere. The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive, always eager to assist with any request and ensure our stay was perfect. The resort’s peaceful location, away from the hustle and bustle of the city, allowed for a serene and rejuvenating atmosphere.

Really good convenience and value for a short, last-minute stay before an early morning long-haul flight. It’s great that you can book last-minute and also the staff are very friendly and helpful and the desk is 24/7. Also the morning hotel airport shuttle was fast and cheaper than a Bolt taxi I caught from the airport to the hotel in the evening.

Nothing to dislike really. I slept well and could’ve stayed longer in bed. Just bring earplugs and turn the noisy fridge off at night (quite common in hotels). Put the A/C on fan mode or lower the intensity for less noise. Also, yes, the coffee and juice at breakfast were instant /not fresh, but this is quite common in Thai hotels and also in other countries. The free cooked breakfast was good value though.

Pongsakorn Boutique Hotel is excellent. They have an airport shuttle service and they are so friendly and helpful. I was also able to book a room at the last minute. I think I will stay there whenever in Bangkok. It's better not to travel during rush hour though because the traffic gets really slow. To get a good deal on a taxi at the airport, you go to a large yellow booth and the guy inside knows the price and a driver will come up to you and they agree on the price first. Or, if you have grab downloaded before getting there.

This hotel is an excellent choice if you need accommodation near BKK airport. The included shuttle service for both arrival and departure is a huge convenience, taking only 20 minutes to and from the airport. The staff is incredibly attentive, ensuring a smooth and pleasant stay. For the price, it’s an ideal option, especially for travelers with a connection like us.

The only inconvenience was the hot water, which was more lukewarm than hot, but the staff made every effort to resolve the issue promptly.

Staff were friendly and helpful, this is a great location for Airport stay over, Took just 15 minutes to airport and they run a shuttle mini bus which goes every 30 minutes, for 200 baht per customer. Super reliable and hassle free just book when you arrive hotel. Peace of mind in my book. Room was clean and comfortable. The restaurant was lovely food was amazing im English and my wife is Thai we both thought the food was very nice. Will definitely stay again for a Airport overnighter. Excellent value for money. I have read some reviews which I think are unfare? No problems at all with this hotel and I've stayed in many over the years in Thailand. Definitely recommend, and I'm sure will be back again.

The staff were unbelievably kind. True Thai kindness, that you don't often see on the well trodden tourist track. I had a serious issue when all my bank cards wouldn't work, and they kindly helped me out with food and taxi money. I couldn't speak more highly of them. Thank you so much to the wonderful team, lead by the lady in the lobby during the day, and the gentlemen in the night. And who could forget the charming doorman!

I liked everything, but please keep this hotel a secret...............
