The breakfast was amazing , there were authentic Thai breakfast with great fruit. The rooms were mint clean. This was first time that we stayed in small place bed and breakfast, but we decided to give a try because of all great reviews . We had a great one night stay , super close to airport since our late evening flight arrived at BKK and needed to go back to airport to fly to Chiang Mai in the morning .

Beds were too firm for us but everything else were amazing , so i would go back again if we need place to stay near BKK

Very convenient for a night stay nearby the airport. Absolutely amazing hospitality- Julia really made the stay. I arrived in torrential rain and she was at the entrance with an umbrella to help me inside from the taxi. She offered to drive me to the night market and back - but as it was really raining heavy, she was so nice to pick up food for me. Without hesitation she offered to drive me to the airport early for my 6am flight (at a very reasonable cost). Would highly recommend Pimthong Place, amazing staff.

Bed is very firm but otherwise nil complaints and I highly recommend the place.

Julia was an excellent hostess and it was easy to communicate with her; she spoke far better English than any Thai I met during four weeks in Thailand. She was very pleasant and helpful. The traditional Thai breakfast was delicious and way beyond our expectations. It was served to us on our deck outside our room. The accommodation is a typical Thai house with great air con. Super clean and comfortable bed. Nice quiet neighborhood. We had a lot of bags, including our golf clubs. Julia took us to the airport (a mere ten minutes away) in her pickup truck for a nominal fee. We would happily stay there again!

There's some major overhead road construction about a kilometer away which sometimes means your taxi is doing a wee bit of extra driving to make a u-turn to get there. But we didn't hear any noise from the construction at all at Pimthong Place.

Friendly helpful host, who looked after our winter clothing for 6 weeks between two one-night stays! Breakfast provided with fruit and sweets also. Close to airport, but in quiet back street, cannot hear planes or any traffic. Comfortable room in old (well maintained) building with character. Pleasant shared outdoor seating area with trees and plants. 800 metres to several limited eating places. Only 10 minutes in taxi to airport outside rush hours, but up to 45 minutes from airport in rush hours!

A fridge would have been appreciated, but not crucial for one night stay.

I was staying here as it was super close to the airport and I was flying out the next day. I messaged to change my check in time to later as my flight from the south was an evening flight and they were very accommodating, My flight was delayed, and I arrived at 11:45pm. Someone was waiting up for me, took me to my room and ask me what time I wanted breakfast. They couldn’t have been any more welcoming and hospitable. The room was spacious and though I stayed for just a night, I think it would be great for longer. Beautifully decorated and felt like a lot of love and dedication had gone into it. The breakfast in the morning was incredible. Beautifully made Thai food. The local area was really nice to explore. The owner was so helpful and suggested the market in the canal for me to explore, where I spent the day before my flight. She also called a cab for me to take me to airport at a really affordable price. Taxi was on time and super helpful. If you need somewhere to stay before a flight, I would highly recommend

Staying at Pimthong Place was like staying with the aunt you never knew you had in Bangkok - Julia is extremely friendly and welcoming, and accommodations were clean and very comfortable. It was fun to stay in a well-preserved traditional Bangkok house. The homestay is located near the end of a dead-end residential street, so it is very quiet at night, yet there are plenty of shops and culinary options within a ten minute walk. Our favorite was the cafe with coffee, cake and corgis in there garden just two houses down. The airport is an easy ten minute taxi ride. If you have heavy luggage, I would recommend requesting a room on the ground floor. If you are a *very* light sleeper, a room on the serving floor mighty be better as you can hear people walking from the ground floor. We were on the ground floor and got a good rest.

Nothing. Our stay exceeded out expectations.

This was such a nice experience and I think we found our place to go next time having an early flight from BKK. We could hardly imagine to have such a lovely and nice experience the last night of our one month Asia trip. The host is such a warm hearted and welcoming person. She was so awesome. Showing us all around, helping with airport transfer, she even prepared us traditional Thai pancake to go. The place is very traditional Thai, lot of lush greenery, lovely and perfectly clean. We loved all the wood. It feels so warm and homey. Thank you so much. We felt like having an overnight at our favourite auntie ❤ We’ll come back :).

that we couldn’t stay longer and had to travel back to Europe

Wonderful oasis of calm and comfort albeit only 10 minutes away from the airport, no airplane was heard above only birds chirping in the morning and crickets late at night. Each room is uniquely decorated with whimsical items. I had a huge stuffed elephant to keep me company throughout my stay. But the highlight of it all is Julia, the owner and hostess of Pimthong Place! She’s wonderful, personable, and ever so helpful! Her breakfast is delicious, flavorful and generous in portion.

It’s far if downtown Bangkok is where you want to be (it was not an issue for me). Pimthong Place is walking distance to shops and night markets.

We spent one night at Prithong Place, inbetween two flights. It is a great solution if you need to stay near the Suvarnabhumi airport (about 15 min away by car). We were able to check-in late at around 9 pm, and were welcomed by Julia. The room was clean and spacious. Most nearby restaurants were closing by that time, but we managed to order on grab (there is also lots of street food available in the neighbourhood). We were a little worried at first about the surrounding noises, though it is to be expected when staying so close to the airport, but in the end it all quieted down before midnight and we got a good night of sleep. Breakfast was amazing, with Thai food and fresh fruits. Julia had everything prepared and helped us book a taxi.

Special mention to Natta who was super welcoming and friendly! The room was clean and as expected for a stopover stay. The location was extremely quiet and convenient (close to airport and also walking distance to a night market). AC was a must given how hot Bangkok was compared to European winter!

My partner found the mattress a little hard (but that seems to be very common in Thailand and it didn't prevent us from sleeping). It did not bother us but it feels worth mentioning: although the street is extremely quiet, we can hear the other people staying at Pimthong place.
