The room exceeds my expectations. As I was travelling alone, I feel like it could fit for 2-3 people. The bed and bathroom looks so nice. I utilize the cupboards as I have a lot of clothes to hang. The location and value for money is great. I came from Penang so the hotel location is like 1.5km to the area. Overall, it was a decent room stay in Hat Yai.

Not what I didn't like but just a suggestion. I hope they partnered with some travel or tourism group so they can also provide tours to the solo travelers like me who doesn't have a plan.

This hotel was one of our favourites in Thailand … it was also the first hotel we stayed at on our most recent trip (Apr 24). It was just a little bit out of the main centre of town but that was the reason we picked it. It was however more central that one might think - it was quite central to various night markets, the shopping mall, train station, and the town centre itself. We walked to most places within a 1 to 2km distance unless it was too hot. It was modern, the neighbourhood was quiet, and just a short walk away was a very clean and well maintained laundromat; a really nice food night market with seating areas; and one of the better Dim Sum restaurants around - we visited twice and each time there was a good crowd. As the building was 6 stories high and stood out in the neighbourhood, it was easy to find. It was also well signed to ensure you or your Grab driver didn’t get lost. The room itself was comfortable – nicely decorated, had a feeling of warmth, plenty of power points, a nice long “desk” to work from if needed, coffee table and chairs. The bed was comfortable and we slept well. The bathroom was also nicely laid out and modern. We did ask to have a room right on the top floor and we were placed in one of the rooms that faced the back – it gave us a view of the train line (we did enjoy watching the very few trains go by) and a bit of a “shanty” that gave some perspective to the lives of some, but the alternative would have been some boring looking new housing units. It’s all subjective really and no big deal for us since we were on the top floor and could see a good distance away. Staff were lovely and all spoke English to varying degrees – we never really had any communication issues. I would totally recommend this hotel to anyone looking for an inexpensive, well run and modern hotel. It was definitely worth more than what we paid.

Not much to dislike

For those who like to stay in a relative quite place but easy to go anywhere, this PS Thungsao hotel is very suitable . Located nearby city centre area, but not in the main road and not too far with local night market with various options, cheap price and many halal food options for for Moslem fellas. In the morning also easy to find tuk tuk to go anywhere and also can find local traditional breakfast nearby hotel For those that not sure for halal food in local traditional food for breakfast, you can go to seven eleven around 500 metres from the hotel. Nice hotel to stay, easy to check in and check out, the staff fast respond to handle customer, all the amenities are very clean. The staff also good to take care the cleanliness of each room, so if you don't want the room to be cleaned during your stay, ensure to put don't clean sign outside your room. Not too much parking lot (around 14-15 cars only), but the road in front of the hotel quite spacious for parking and quite safe.

This is a new hotel, the room is superb clean and big! If you lucky, you got train view, behind the hotel. Toilet is super clean, air cond is function well, as well as water temperature and pressure. The location is easy to find, it just that you have to walk about 10mins to get to nearest 7Elevan and to hail tuk tuk, which is ok for us. The staf is very friendly and check in is fuss free. Multiple power socket everywhere in the room.

The room is not soundproof. I can clearly hear next door conversation (they are loud too) and people walking in corridor. It's ok for us as we're so tired and easily fall asleep. They provide only two pillow in double room. No breakfast or morning 'coffee' and microwave provide at the lobby but it is not issue for us. hat Yai is food heaven.

Room had basic facilities. There's USB socket in the room to charge phone. Got good Wifi, Kiblat direction in room. My son excited when he saw train passed by from our window.

Hot water not very stable. The bed frame & table was a bit dusty, the soundproofing is not very good, can hear clearly people talked on the walkway. The room a bit small, not suitable for those who have many luggages.

Room is very spacious. Clean and comfortable.

Not recommending their in-room massage. There were several distractions during the session. It seemed like the therapist was not fully focused on the massage i.e playing with their phone (video call!!), talking with another therapist for the entire session and not bringing towel.

If you plan to rent a motor or drive, you can choose here. Driving distance is 5 to 10mins to attraction.

The toilet in my room has some issues where it cannot go down, seems like the sewage system is not the same here but the technician is 24 hours to help.

The room is clean and spacious. Staff is friendly and helpful. The location is strategic as the hotel not really in the middle of the crowd place but most of the interesting places is nearby.

The sound proof quality not really good as I can hear my neighbour chatting and vibration from their handphone.

The staff is easy to communicate with customers. The room is clean and comfortable.

The lift has only one when many customers are coming I'm waiting almost 10-15 minutes to go down. No kettle in each room and must go down to take hot water and waste time. No iron board in each level. Tq
