This simple, pleasant Hostel is an excellent, reasonably priced option for travellers. The rooms are generous, the whole building is very clean and quiet and the older couple who own the Hostel are very attentive (and have good English). This is my second stay at the Sunshine Hostel, both of which have been very satisfactory. Lots of eateries very close by and the enormous Market Village Mall is a 5 minute walk away. Thoroughly recommended.

The only, very minor, issue I have is that the Hostel is a 20/25 minute walk into the centre of Hua Hua. You can a green Songtheaw open bus (every 10 - 15 minutes - you have to flag it down) on the main road for 15B, which takes 5 or 6 minutes, or a TukTuk for 100B. The Hostel, however, is just across the road from the beach - a 5 minute walk. The staff are very helpful - apart from one male member of the team who lets the side down with his abrupt, 'I'm in charge' attitude. which is a shame. Some customer service training needed.

The Hotel is very well organised by ghost staff (you rarely see them, even at reception) and everything is in it's place and provided to a good standard and quality. The rooms are generous in size. the kerb appeal of the Hotel doesn't inspire, but once inside, the building is well appointed, clean and everything works as expected. The stairs (my room was on the 4th floor) provided a much needed daily workout, free of cost.

It would be churlish to point out anything amiss (there would only be very, very minor instances, if any, as the Sunshine Hotel as it is a very good, comfortable, well designed, quiet residence.

Huge room, super clean, excellent bed, and big balcony. Everything beautifully maintained, and the owners are wonderful people. Zero street noise and I never heard any noise from other guests. If this place had an elevator and a 24 hour front desk, it would be a solid 3 star hotel.

It's a five story building with no elevator, and the wifi login setup is a little irksome. Minor points considering how splendid this place is!

A really lovely little Hotel, the staff went above and beyond to accommodate me. I arrived via train after midnight and the check-in went smoothly. Again when I was checking out they stored my luggage till evening. When I was picking up my bag they offered me usage of the shower as I was going for the night train. They also provided a towel for me to use. I will definitely use their services when I'm in Hua Hin!

Everything was excellent. The room was big with private bath and balcony. Ii was very clean, serviced every day, and very quiet. AC and hot water were excellent. The location was great, near two big shopping malls, many restaurants and only a short walk to the beach (10 or 15 minutes). I would definitely stay here again.

Nothing to dislike.

The room design is very good. I felt comfortable from the beginning. Airco is very good. Bed is fine too. Close to Market Village with everything you might want, including the busstation. Cleaning was done every single day.

It's a bit noisy with concerts not so far away untill midnight. No breakfast. Staff told me where I could have my clothes washed and the Soi to the beach. That was it. Felt a bit dry. Hua Hin is a bit like a big road next to a strip of sand.

We had a very spacious room on the fourth floor, a nice balcony with a table and two chairs. The room and the entire hotel are super clean, the location is great close to coffee places and shops. Great value for money!

The internet connection seemed to not be working properly but we used our phones so we didn't investigate the availability of a good WI Fi connection.

The staff is very friendly and helpful and the room was spotless. I also think the location is good - it's close to the beach and two malls and it's very easy to get a taxi if you want to travel further in town.

The daily cleaning of the rooms took place rather early. You're informed that the rooms are cleaned approximately between 11.00 and 15.00 but on many days it was really between 10 and 11. In addition, notice that the building doesn't have a lift.

Everything! Great location, it is located very close to the beach, which is definitely walking distance (750m max). There is a big shopping centre within 5mins walk, and another one within 15mins walk, both of them offer great food options. There is also a 7-11 convenience store opposite the shopping centre which opens 24 hours, so you can get anything at any time. The owners and all staff here are really friendly and approachable! The rooms are spacious and clean, with very powerful shower! There is also washing machine for launderette, and wet clothing can be hung on the balcony of the room. To sum up, it is great value for the price and I highly recommend this place!
