Para resort offers sweet Bungalows that are very well kept and clean. All the amenities you need are in this compact space ie. tea/coffee, shower gels, soaps, hairdryer & good sized fridge. It is clear a lot of thought and attention to detail has been made. I also appreciated the full length mirror & hanging space. The owners Phola & Brian are friendly and make you feel very welcome.

I would have liked a small bedside table rather than all the cabinets plus the desk which took up valuable space. I’m afraid personally I didn’t find the bed comfortable nor the lightweight sheet & blanket. It took a bit of getting used to. There are no English channels on the TV and Ps. the air con needs a clean :)

This gentle and delightful resort, set just away from the main town but not too far to walk to - is perfect place to be based in Koh Chang. The bungalows are charming and kept in excellent condition. Sitting on one's own veranda is the perfect way to start your day and end your night. The restaurant patio has a sunny charm with delicious breaksfasts served by welcoming staff. It was more than home from home. Also they rent out scooters and can help organise tours of the island - one we took all the way down to Bang Bao Pier and then off island hopping and cove exploring; Ending up on the isolated and enchanted Inner Laoya Island - coming back through the busy market that 'float's above the harbour.

I wish I lived there. This short stay was both entrancing but not long enough to have enough time to see and do everything; That said the recommended places were enough for my one week visit to Thailand. The problem is you just don't want to leave!

Really enjoyed our stay on the first night so much that we came back for our last two nights of a year long trip. Slightly out of the busy hub this is a beautiful haven where we stayed in a cute, clean and beautifully decorated cottage. The owners (sorry i am terrible with names) and the staff are very friendly and passionate about giving their guests the best stay. Walking distance to the bus stop, restaurants and the beach, alternatively you can hire a scooter. There is also an in house restaurant with very nice British breakfast. The pizza oven was on the go when we were there but could not take advantage as just finished 3 days detox. Definitely recommend and would definitely come back.

If only it had a pool 😆

Nice setting on a gentle slope , close to " White Sand Beach " and to supermarkets ( Macro ) & Shops & Petrol Station ⛽️ & Banks .... Beautiful bungalows with Aircon, Big Fridge , TV with International Channels , Watercooker & coffee , Hairdryer , Fully equiped bathroom . Very welcoming and attentive owners & staff 😀 . Well maintained and attractive garden with tables & reclining chairs. Large Parking area for cars & motorcycles. As we stayed for 2 nights, the staff provided new bedsheets, towels ... and even started the aircon for our return after lunch 👌.

Next time , as for sure we will come back , we would ask for a bungalow more to the rear & uphill & protected from the sun 🌞 in the afternoon.

The cabins were lovely set back of the busy road so very quiet in the night We had the family room in the apartments Beds were Super spacious and comfy , The staff were really helpful and friendly Phola was great , Would stay again Nice breakfast in the cafe there too. Bit of a walk down a slight hill to the main part of the beach lots of restaurants all along the main road

Needed a drying hanger in the terrace as some things get wet in the day and no where to hang things to dry out

We stayed as a family of three in the top floor of the main building which was spacious and beautifully clean. Glass doors opening up to the balcony where we could sit and feel like we were in a a tree house, listening to the birds as the sun went down. 20 minutes walk to the the north of white sand beach (the nicest bit) so far enough away from all shops and bars to be quiet but not too far. Taxis passing very regularly if the walk is too much. Staying here made our stay in Koh Chang as this island wasn’t for us. The island is developed, a bit smelly and has a lot of litter around. Para Resort was a a welcome retreat from all of that, if we had to pass through Koh Chang again we would definitely stay here again. Lovely staff, very helpful, very kind. Some great Thai restaurants a minutes walk away as well as a Thai mini mart for supplies.

The grounds looked a little tired but it didn’t affect our stay at all as the overall cleanliness was excellent. After staying at a few other places around Thailand at a similar price I would say breakfast could have been included in price.

The cabins are really nice and made to make you feel at home and relax. The manager Paul is really nice , very polite, friendly and helpfull and, he make a fantastic pizza !! The accommodation is located in very natural surroundings that made the stay interesting. You never knew Edgar creature would show up on your porch. Very nice place to stay.

The area is a bit remote if you don't have your own transport. I could not find the volume button for the croaking frogs.

24 hrs with no water - due to hot season - using toilet / shower in other building. little discount for inconvenience would have been nice....

room was cleaned everyday and staff was extremely nice and helpful. They even gave us charcoal pills when we had a case of food poisoning from some restaurant on the beach. Breakfast was good and in the evenings they make amazing pizza in their woodburning pizza oven. Location is in a good walking distance from beach, restaurants and shops. They also rent motorbikes.

It's a nice and simple place. It has everything that one needs for a good stay. It's clean and conveniently located, just a 5 min ride from the white sand beach. The huts are well maintained, and they are cleaned everyday. The room is stocked with all necessary items such as basic toiletries, tea, coffee, water, etc. It's a basic room, not a luxury resort, and it does its job very well in giving you a comfortable stay. Each hut has a nice sitout area too. The staff at the reception are helpful and friendly. Overall it was great value for money.
