We have visited Koh Chang before, but this time decided to change locations. We all decided that this was an unexpected little gem. We are not fancy holiday makers, we just want a clean and friendly, not too far away from things place where we can relax and enjoy ourselves. The owners friendly and helpful, the staff a delight. The tortoise was an added bonus. Our rooms were cleaned daily, unless we specifically asked not too. We asked for scooters while we were there, and these were organised without any hassles. We did not try out the breakfast, but did often stop and have a chat with the owners. If you are looking for a sand beach, this isnt the area, but, a couple of km either way, you will find one. There are plenty of places to eat Long Chimp or Jo Chin for example. The room was equipped with a fridge and kettle, so I had my cuppa each morning. The aircon was replaced as it wasn't working properly. We will definitely be going back

If i had to say something, it would be the mattresses. They are slightly harder then what we are used too, but you get used to them very quickly, and I definitely did not have a sleeping problem.

The best thing is that you feel welcome and a bit like you're coming home. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The garden is lovingly maintained. There is a water dispenser from which you can take as much water as you need. No plastic bottles. Which I personally find outstanding.

Unfortunately, other guests do not respect the night's peace and quiet and walk past the rooms chatting loudly. Everything is very thinly soundproof because the windows are open. But the owners are not to blame for this.

I came back again 2 years later and it's just as beautiful and peaceful :) really wild and set into the jungle... I will book again when I return. Loved the hammock - very comfortable.

Not their fault whatsoever but due to the location and during rainy season it's insects galore, so invest in some good mosquito repellent and some lemongrass incense to keep them at bay!

Very nice, simple and genuine accommodation located just next to the jungle. Very quiet and relaxing garden. Very good breakfast. You'd need a motorbike or taxi to get to the nice beaches but that's quite normal in the island. The hut was a little old but very nice, clean and comfortable with everything provided. Kind and welcoming host. Overall I found this place of great value for the price paid.

The owners are absolutely amazing. So friendly and helpful. They were so wonderful with our 2 year old and made the stay really special for him by involving him with caring for the pet tortoise and bird. We really wished we could have stayed longer, it was a highlight of our trip to Koh Chang. The facilities are basic but with everything you need. It was so quiet and peaceful the whole time we were there. Close to the Main Street but far enough away to not be affected by the noise and hoards of tourists.

Nice, clean and quiet place. Little away from all the activities but still close. Great breakfast with fresh fruits from the garden. Friendly and helpsom personal who care about their guest. I will come back here again for sure 🙏

Another very warm welcome at the TP Hut Bungalows.. I have stayed here so many times now and brought many friends along too, This place has everything I need for a short stay or long stay on the beautiful Koh Chang... Rooms are very clean and serviced daily, the staff are very helpful and friendly, your hosts will help you in any way they can.. Excellent place to relax in the quiet and peaceful surroundings..

Only thing I dislike is having to leave...

In the middle of nature and close to the beach and bars. Restaurants within walking distance. Staff were nice and check in and out was great

Small room but ok for a few nights but not much room to put stuff. No room to walk around the bed but the bed was comfy Shower small and water cool which wasn't too much of a problem in the heat. I found it expensive for what it was in comparison to others I went on to stop In in ko chang.

I’ve been mostly doing hostels while traveling so it was really nice having a bungalow alone, I really liked having a hammock! Nice location, friendly staff and good value for the money!

The beds were really hard, and the bathroom was not in the best condition. But for the price I paid I think it’s alright

I stayed in a bungalow at the top of the hill. It was immaculate. Great views, pretty garden, quiet, windy and cool at night. Staff friendly and helpful. Every request honored. Free drinking water 24/7. Coffee, breakfast, and laundry services available for a fee. Restaurants, grocery stores, and a quiet rocky beach nearby where you can snorkel and/or watch sunsets. Can rent a scooter and/or book trips. Recommend a scooter for convenience (seeing the island, visiting sandy beaches and the busier areas).

Beds are firm, even with a mattress topper. Regardless, I enjoyed my stay! This isn’t specific to TP Huts, but to the area in general: the road leading to and from the main road is in poor shape and some vehicles for hire refuse to drive on it (ie. Taxis from the ferry).
