Quiet place. Concrete bungalow, nothing fancy but comes with AC (a must here as it gets really hot). Big balcony. Very lovely rocky view on the sea, ideal for sunset or morning view breakfast. Well maintained swimming pool. The staff clean and replenish room with water bottles and instant coffee mix everyday. Big C supermarket just 5mins walk away and the amazing vegan restaurant Everflow was just nearby. There's also 2 places to eat just up the road that offered super delicious thai food.

Pay cash only. No proper table desk and chair for working. The bed mattress was hard and Wifi speed is bad. Anyone can see through your room if you dont pull the curtains. Privilege has only a rocky beach (not ideal for swimming or laydown) and is situated between white sand and klong prao beach. You need walk for 30mins or so to reach either beach unless you rent a bike. Note the road is not flat.

We were very happy with our few night stay here, it's location is next to a few small family owned restaurants and a supermarket across the road, but apart from that you will need to flag down a bus truck that passes by or hire a moped, so the location is average, but Koh Chang is a small island so 5 minutes drive either direction you hit pockets of bars/restaurants or beaches. The rooms are lovely, the resort is lovely and the bathrooms are large and the air con is brilliant. Only other thing we wanted to mention is that the doors to the bungalow don't close fully when locked and leaves a gap in the join big enough for insects to get through, this could do with sorting or a mosquito net for the bed if not. Apart from that small thing we loved our stay here and Koh Chang is a beautiful island waiting to be explored, thank you very much 🙂

It might be a tad to isolated for some people but for me it was perfect. End of the season so not heaving, 4 or so good to reasonable restaurants on your doorstep and a very good supermarket opposite. I loved the sunsets, tokais, birds, pool and pretty stoney beach. Amazing sunsets right in front you.

The sea view room I took was very spacious, with a closet and multiple drawers. Don’t expect too much in terms of aesthetics with regards to the furnishings and decor, but all you actually need is right there, including a microwave, kettle, sink, dishes, cutlery and a medium sized fridge (in these 4 sea view units, don’t know about the others). Private, more or less, and very peaceful, with seating for 3 on the patio and a couch inside as well as a little workstation. Good water pressure, and 2 bottled waters everyday. Also the swimming pool was a nice spot to cool off, and seemed to be kept quite clean. In fact the whole place was well maintained. I also loved that a Big C store was right at the top of the road, and the ocean view restaurant at Saffron Resort, right next door, was a nice spot for a meal.

Unfortunately the strip of shoreline in this area is just rocks so don’t expect to actually swim in the ocean while here. If you rent a scooter - the staff can help - then you can drive to an actual beach for the day and return here afterwards. If “no sandy beach” is a dealbreaker for you then you won’t like it. But everything else conforms to what most economy to mid-range waterfront properties are offering on this island (this was my 7th visit to Koh Chang). I stayed 3 nights then moved to a place that was cheaper, and right on the beach, but also more remote, smaller, and with much less amenities.

a good place to relax. our bungalow was in excellent condition, free of unpleasant odors and insects. it is located off the road, for this price, a good option. there is a clean swimming pool on the large territory. there are stones on the seashore, but there are sandy beaches not far away

the reservation was made in advance, with payment on the spot, but a few days later a hotel employee in a personal message asked to urgently send him a deposit. I resolved this issue through the support service, it turned out that it was done incorrectly on his part. if the owner is afraid of losing profit due to cancellation at the height of the season, then why not set the payment at the time of booking? It was the only unpleasant situation.

The mountain views are stunning, a very quiet spot, they make up the room daily once you indicate it and the location is great. Two supermarkets nearby and a bunch of restaurants on the road if you are riding a bike. If you are on foot, there are a few options on the road.

On our very first day there was some shaved hair from the previous guest(s) on two spots in the toilet. Not a first good impression. There are poop from bats and birds on the little stairs on the way to get in the room.

Quiet area, big comfortable beds - good to sleep! Nice lawn (no dust or sand anywhere). Small pool with a couple of sunbeds.

There is only a couple of restaurants on the steet, so you need a scooter if you want to see the nightlife. Own, small beach is rocky - not for swimming.

The grounds were large area, great little pool, staff very helpful. Nice road side restaurants just outside the grounds. fresh and well made. Close to supermarkets as well.

As I did not pay up front, the manager said I had to pay cash. 16,000B. He would not let us check in until we paid. Even offered to 4K so I could drop the bags and kids off, but no. Do I recommend paying up front here. The manager was nice, but frustrating after 7 hour ride.

peaceful place, great and helpful staff, nice pool and good access to other attractions on the island specially if you rent a scooter

furniture mattresses can be renewed, I think they are at the edge of their lifetime.. anyway considering the price probably that's it.
