It was one of the coziest and welcoming places we’ve ever stayed. The staff was incredible attentive and friendly, the views were stunning, the cleanliness was impeccable

Sometimes there was no hot water in the shower. The beach is not good for swimming unless you are wearing special shoes

The staff here were amazing. Really helpful and friendly. The location is great. A 10min taxi to all the best sites and nightlife. Really quiet area. Great for chilling out and relaxing.

The beach is nice and quiet but not really a beach as such. It is very difficult to swim due to the amount of rocks. If it's a beachfront property you want, then this is not for you.

I had a great stay here. The resort is lovely, looks exactly as on the pictures, cute little houses, very close to the sea. Everything was always perfectly clean and well maintained, there was also a minibar available, wifi was good. Breakfast was served every day with both Thai and european menus, a lot of regional fruits and nice drinks. For those who travel here please visit the Ang Thong national park - i have travelled a lot in my life but this was the mist spectacular place i've ever seen.

Two small things to consider - first, if you want to ChoengMon beach it will take you 15 min walk from the hotel, to other beaches/places Grab or other transportation service is needed. Second, the restaurants at the resort and of the neighboring Saii resort are a bit overpriced - the food was still great so i dont list it as a disadvantage, just consider that in a 5 min walk distance from the hotel there are cheaper alternatives, such as Pui bar. But again, food was very good anyway. Altogether great job guys

We stayed in a pool villa room which was lovely, the little pool was great to cool off in every day. The resort is small but right on the beach. We were welcomed with a refreshing drink on arrival and friendly staff, we organised a transfer from the airport by the hotel. The location was perfect for us, with 7/11 and other little shops and restaurants about a 5 minute easy walk. The breakfast was lovely but not a huge variety but having barista made coffee every morning was heaven. The only thing we feel the resort could do better was to maybe promote the happy hour drinks by the pool more as we really weren’t made aware of it and also we had a lovely barbecue buffet dinner on the beach with music but again we only knew about it because one of the ladies just happen to mention it to us at happy hour. All in alll we definitely recommend Sea Dance Resort.

We loved our stay at Sea Dance resort. The entire resort is surrounded by beautiful gardens and is set back from the road making it a very relaxing and tranquil environment. The villa we stayed in was stunning and really spacious. I loved the personal touches that the staff had made such as the dried flowers on the towels when we arrived, the choice of wooden decorations and the shells. The added bonus of the little plunge pool on the elegant terrace was a joy. We loved the beds which were very comfortable and the AC worked well - a must in Thailand! The staff are very friendly and obliging and the food at the restaurant is gorgeous.

Everything about the resort was perfect to be honest. I can't think of anything that I would change about this place.

The welcome was amazing- it felt like walking into a spa when we entered our bungalow, with the relaxing music playing and the lovely smells. Having our own plunge pool was great too. We loved the oil burners dotted around our bungalow, the hotel restaurant and toilets to add to the calming feel. Fabulous quiet location, only a short distance from the town with many more restaurants, shops etc. The beach is rocky so difficult to swim there, but good for using the hotel kayaks on (which are free to use). Great customer service- couldn’t fault the staff, they couldn’t do enough for you. They work incredibly hard to make the resort spotless. Restaurant food was good but on the pricey side compared to other places we ate. (10% service charge was put on everything, even if you just wanted a drink at the pool bar.) We found a great Thai restaurant at the top of the road- Pui relax. Lovely authentic food and really great prices. Also a 7/11 at the top of the road which is handy.

Not many restaurants nearby - have to get a taxi into the main town, which costs about £5 each way. It would be helpful if the hotel offered a shuttle into the town like other hotels we stayed at. More sunbeds are needed around the pool area/on the beach as people struggled to find places to sit. On 3 of our 5 nights here we didn’t have hot water in our shower which was disappointing for the price we paid. The resort is on the pricey side, compared to other places we stayed at of a similar standard.

From the moment we got to Sea Dance we were blown away by the staff, the room, the view and the natural environment. Either side of the resort are more westernised villas and resorts, yet Sea Dance stole our hearts with it's botanical setting which felt like an oasis. The rooms are separate bungalows with lush greenery giving you a sense of privacy. The greenery attracts lots of birds, and other beautiful creatures, and is also used within the resort for decoration and ingredients at the restaurant The beach is practically private and great for exploring rockpools. The free use of the Kayak is something we wish we had taken more advantage of. The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming. Each morning at breakfast, Joy and Paing were wonderful, remembering our drinks order and asking us about our trips as were Kai and Oo in the restaurant. We didn't manage to get names for the equally wonderful kitchen, cleaning or front of house team, who were also exceptional.

Beautyful beach, quite and peacful.. with rocks so needs shoes to go in. Very nice pool. room was very comfortable with 2 bedroom and 2 toilats and showers. . Good bed for the baby A bit far from the center 15 min drive. 5 minutes walk to the street, in the dark not very pleasant. Over all very good exprience, I would just love to know that beforehand. Service a bit strange. Not really nice but nothing bad to say. Didn't say there is a free snacks in the restaurant at the after noon time. Price was very good. For next year much more expansive. Food in the restaurant is amazing (not cheap)

What an amazing experience we had on our return to Sea Dance Resort, our favorite resort on the island! Located on a quiet beach the resort itself is beautifully set amongst nature and has a very relaxed vibe. You can chill by the pool or on the sand under the shade of palms and other big trees. The wonderful staff and management are so welcoming and kind, nothing was too much trouble. We loved seeing their friendly faces when we came back for our second stay. It's clear that all the staff are valued and take pride in their service. The villas are spacious and kept clean, we had a private pool and loved spending our evenings on the outside deck listening to and spotting the local wildlife. The beach itself is rocky in parts but don't let that put you off. You can access the water in sandier spots at the other end of the beach for a swim but the best plans is to wear neoprene booties. You can take off from most of the beach with booties and the snorkelling is great! There are so many species of fish and other sea life. The water can be shallow but the visibility was excellent for most of our two week stay. Poy and his team are committed to creating and maintaining a serene sanctuary that respects and celebrates the natural setting. Special thanks to Poy, Lek, Joy, Oo, Dome and Harris for making our visit amazing.

With reference to comments from other guests about the choice at breakfast, it includes multiple fresh fruits, cereals, freshly baked bread, an egg station plus a range of 8-10 hot dishes or sides that varied each day. And the coffee (hot or iced) is great! While it's not comparable to a massive buffet in a big hotel, it's fresh, tasty and uses ingredients grown at the resort. It was perfect for us and we found all the dishes served from the restaurant to be exceptional.
