Great Price Quality Ratio on Choeng Mon Beach. Is it old fashioned? Yes. Is it fancy? No. Is it comfortable and can you enjoy your stay directly on the beach? Yeeees. We stayed 1 week with Kids in renovated 1st floor and liked it much. You can use Kayak or Paddle Board from Hotel for free. From Hotel Restaurant you see beautiful beach with fine sand and warm sea. Food is fine, but could be cheaper, It is not a tourist trap, in comparison to restaurant on the street only 5 min far by walk (Khun Yak f.e.) you pay 2x more. If you looking for unexpesive accomodation with direct beach access where everything works you are on the right address. Book directly form booking.com (no add) it is significantly cheaper than on place.

Mattress too light or too old.

size of room,for a family of four, was very adequate. overall atmosphere was laid back and friendly. staff were courteous and efficient. in general, for the price, no complaints.

the swimming pool is in dire need of repair and updating. so much so, that despite wanting to swim in a pool as well as the sea, we never used it. the outside eating area needs attention, especially the flooring and tables. this could be done for relatively little money, thereby saving alot of "stubbed toes" on the rickety floor boards, as well as a few spilled drinks on the uneven tables. finally, there is a spray, that if done on a regular basis, say weekly, reduces the mosquito problem greatly, which, at the moment, was pretty unbearable. I used to own a hotel in India that was very similar with a lot of foliage etc., so I know it can be done if the management want to.

Kirati is a very special place. We have just stayed for 4 nights with our 3 children. Where do I start …. We loved the relaxed vibe, the amazing food and friendly friendly service. The free kayaks and paddle boards were fantastic. The fire show and live music was amazing. We constantly felt amazed at where we were and how calm, quiet and family friendly and relaxed the place felt. We felt that we were on the best stretch of the whole beach. The family room was simple but very comfortable and although set back a bit from the beach it felt quieter and calmer for us.

Nothing massive. The bathroom could have been a bit more updated. There is a bit of an unpleasant smell in the road leading up to Kirati. A few drainage problems in the area. It didn’t impact our stay though.

Those clever people at Kirati Resort run their business in a way that made our stay exceptionally enjoyable. The room was a good size, clean, quiet, comfortable, and made up every day. The restaurant, which is right on the beach with a beautiful view, serves delicious food at a reasonable price and - very important for us - offers a wide range of vegetarian choices. The live music and the fire show, both provided every single evening, were of high quality and exceptionally enjoyable. The staff throughout the resort - hotel, restaurant, room cleaning, etc - we're polite, friendly and helpful. The resort is fantastic value for money, and you'll be hard pressed to find a better place to stay in Koh Samui.

I loved that the beach was not crowded at all and as I was travelling alone I felt comfortable leaving the few things I had with me on the bench when I took a quick dip in the ocean. The restaurant staff are exceptional ! So nice, always smiling and don´t mind special requests. Great coffee and the food is very good. The room was clean and spacious. Working fridge, AC good and nice to have a balcony. There were 2 bed side lamps but the jack needed to be replaced, were all crooked. I had stayed at this hotel 8 years ago and that time we got one of the wooden huts which is very nice and has extra character. I used the massage on the beach by the hotel(there are several on the beach) every other day Overall, a nice relaxing hotel to stay at and good value.

The towels were always clean but they were white but obviously weren´t very new so they were no longer bright white but this didn't bother me much as I could tell they were clean.

Could not recommend this place more. Kirati was amazing, great staff- so helpful, kind and looked after me well. The food was amazing& great cocktails! Location is great, right on the beach & amazing entertainment with live music & fire show! Really good vibes for a holiday, i felt very relaxed. June the manager was so good to me & so helpful, she helped me get taxis from Moo who is in connection with the hotel. He is great & so friendly, I recommend him very much too -he took me everywhere for a great price compared to other taxi prices in Samui! If i come back again i will definitely come back here, i wish i stayed for longer. Samui is paradise & my holiday was made even better by the people i met ! I actually ended up, loving the location because there was so much going on on the beach. Great place for couples or people with kids as there is live music every day on the beach and the evening they have a great fire show. I also really loved their menu as I was able to have something different every night.

There was some kind of bird living on the top of my little Cabin that woke me up in the middle of the night. Other than that, it was great.

I liked how welcoming and lovely the receptionist was. I liked the number of pets in the resort; Chanel will always be in my heart. I also really liked the free paddle board and kayak. I liked the 2pm staff, they were much more equipped at making food and drinks as well as great services.

I did not like the morning staff, they often did not make the drinks the same way as the afternoon staff or the same service.

We were moved to a room in the hotel and it was really really great. The room was big and bright, the beds were comfortable and we had a great view from the balcony. Everything was working great and the room service cleaned our room everyday. The beach was also very pretty and close. The Staff has always been very kind and helped with everything you needed. Really big thank you to all the people caring for us.

Don't book the superior Cottage. When we got there everything was very old, the sink was dripping, the shelves in the closet were broken and there were a lot of holes in the walls and doors. But the staff was very kind and helpful and moved us to a different room. The towels had some stains.

The property is simple but everything you need, with a beautiful restaurant attached and on the most stunning beach in Samui. The staff make it, the front of house, cleaners and also in the restaurant everyone is so kind and friendly. We stayed here last year and were excited to come back again
