The breakfast was quite good. The eggs (fried) came without toast which is unusual in Western countries but this was eas enough to make myself. I cannot express how happy I was with all the staff at De Anchor. They were all incredibly attentive, polite, friendly and respected our wishes to not have our room cleaned during our 5 day stay. They even prepared a little care package which they hung on our door with everything we might need. The staff are clearly all friendly with each other and seeing them interact with each other when they don't know you are looking is a complete pleasure too.

The view from our room N-3 was a little bit on the average side but the staff and dinner food made up for it. I wish there was more dessert than just ice cream. A chocolate mousse, chocolate lava cake, cheesecake or creme brulee would have been amazing! There were a lot of plastics washing up on the beach outside our room but I don't think this would be easy to solve by management at De Anchor but it does detract slightly from the aesthetic of the resort.

We stayed at De’ Anchor for a three nights and enjoyed it very much. The room had a beautiful view over the ocean. It was clean, the bed was comfortable and the rooms were well designed. The small touches like the scent in the room upon check-in was very nice as well.

The shower water pressure and temperature could be better. The water wasn’t that hot unfortunately. The WiFi was spotty to say the least and we had issues to connect through our VPN. Not sure if it was an issue with the VPN or their WiFi.

The staff was very friendly and very accommodating. They would always go out of their way to assist. They even made menu adjustments for my celiac diet. Breakfast was a good mixture of western foods and east. The beds are very comfortable. The view is fantastic. You can even rent a motorcycle to get around the island at a very good price for 24 hours. Most things are in walking distance but rides are easy to find.

There was nothing I disliked.

Hotel is very modern, rooms are spacious and decorated well with good facilities. The staff are very helpful and friendly. Hotel offers a complimentary shuttle to / from the ferry if you phone and let them know you’re coming. They also have mopeds to rent or will arrange a Skylap for an island tour (both 300 baht). Pool was nice, although they only have four sun loungers.

The balconies are very narrow making them difficult to sit out on but we did have a sea view (not all rooms do). There’s no beach here, just a few rocks before the sea.

Almost everything was excellent. The staff were incredibly helpful and welcoming. They arranged my transport and helped me with anything I asked them. The room and bathroom were very clean and large. The decor was so unique and beautiful. I would stay here again. Amenities were provided and robes. They even left a welcome note in my room with my name on it. The whole experience felt relaxing and intimate.

The main dining hall has sticky tables and the breakfast options are limited.

Great sea view! We can enjoy the sunrise everyday just on the bed, which is really sweet. My mom likes the room design and brief style, love love it! However, the ants are too much in the room, even we have not eat anything in the room. Spray seems useless:( BUT here still a good place to stay in Koh Si Chang. Thanks for everything!

Beautifull hotell and a very helpfull staff. They picked us up at the pier and drove us to the hotell. The room we had vas just fantastic. Extremely clean, quiet with seaview. Awesome bed, and very modern design. Close to the centre (walking distance). The pool was very nice. Would I go back? Absolutely. Loved this place 10/10 we stayed 2 nights but really wish we could have stayed longer.

Nothing really, the only thing was that they did not have any zero sugar sodawater, like coke zero, for diabetic. But a 7 eleven is just 10 minute walk away saved us.

Everything was perfect at this hotel. The staff was super welcoming and nice, making sure you were feeling good and understood. We ate once at the restaurant, and it was delicious - I am vegetarian and it was easy to make it understand, I had a delicious meal! Thank you!

It’s not really about the property or the hotel, but a lot of plastic is coming from the sea onto the hotel’s beach. We see it from the restaurant and I think it could be an extra attention to detail if this beach was cleaned from time to time (if it’s not done already, the island has a lot of plastic in nature and it seems like a lost cause sometimes.)

This hotel is absolutely beautiful! We stayed in a room with a stunning view overlooking the garden, swimming pool, and sea. The room itself was spacious, comfortable, and featured a charming minimalist design. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. While the breakfast wasn’t extravagant, it was delicious, made with fresh ingredients, and more than enough for me. Overall, I’m extremely satisfied and would love to return in the future.

A wonderful place. Amazing location and very helpful staff. Charming, quiet and unspoiled. (De Anchor was clean, offered good breakfast and comfortable beds but it was the uncommercial genuine nature of the place that won me over.)

The hotel is right on the water, and there’s a pool- but you need to take a tuktuk to the beach.
