We absolutely loved our stay at Villa Phu Khao. The view from our villa was absolutely stunning and the room had been decorated very nicely. The hotel owners, Lek and Peter, were absolutely fantastic. Lek is an absolutely incredible cook and amazing at sorting taxis and boat trips for you, and Peter was always available for a chat and advice. We had the best welcome when we arrived, a cold towel and iced drink, and despite it being a little late, Lek whipped together some food for us. We were very grateful! The hotel had a lovely little pool, and the breakfast was (no surprise) amazing. Would VERY much recommend staying here!

The room was a little rough round the edges, like a cracked shower basin, but as Peter explained, they've been a little understaffed, so this was very understandable. The location was incredible for the view, but we were a little unprepared for how unreliable Grab is out of the big cities. If we were to return, we'd definitely hire a car.

The owners and staff are fantastic. We like to be out of the tourist areas but close enough to go if we want. The rooms are large well decorated in traditional Thai. Beds are great. The bar service and Leks awesome cooking make this place very special. The breakfast is fantastic. When back in Thailand this will be the first place we book. If you have health issues or disabilities there are stairs to get to some of the villas just a heads up before you book. Lek arranged a scooter for us that was perfect for getting around. We left feeling like we were leaving family.

Sea view villa was a spacious room with stunning views across the Andaman sea. Fabulous breakfasts and dinner, no need to eat out. Good sized clean pool. Only a few minutes drive from Khlong Muang beach, great for sunset.

92 steps to our room which actually in the end was good training for Dragons Peake View point.

What a beautiful place. From the moment we arrived we received 5 star customer service. Peter and Lek care deeply about the experience the provide to their guests. While we waited for our room to be ready we were shown to the pool, brought towels and water with ice and lime .. a lovely touch. Each of the villas is uniquely decorated Thai style , they have all you need to feel comfortable. The rooms and resort are well maintained and NOTHING is too much . We hired scooters , they arrived without a bother.. we booked a long tail boat trip .. fabulous day, we eat Leo’s food which was delicious and incredible value for money. They helped us with laundry and transfers to the port. If you are happy to be out of the hussle and bustle of Ao Nang , waking to incredible views and hosts that Cara about a service this is Definitely a place to stay. The billy bonus was meeting John, Peter’s dad and enjoying a natter over a beer before dinner ❤️

Delicious breakfast- many things to choose from, several fruits and Thai samplings brought each morning. Hosts remembered our bfast preferences the next day~. Helped arrange a group tour and a private tour with pickup/dropoff- just added to our tab, so it was an easy process. Lovely host family- Lek and Peter- as well as caring, smiling staff. We had lower villas so not many stairs to climb - but still had stunning views. Highly recommend.

The view of the sea and the mountains is fantastic (our villa was the highest in the area). The owners are very hospitable. The breakfast is delicious and varied.

The high location overlooks the freeway, which makes it a little noisy from passing traffic during the day.

Best accommodation experience ever! If we could stay there forever - we would. Peter and Lek are the most welcoming and thoughtful hosts. They can read their guests' minds and every dream comes true. From the amazing beach view villas with comfy bed to the relaxing pool and the amazingly authentic Thai cuisine or a private massage in the cabanas with ocean view. They even organised a little cake for my husband's birthday. The Krabi Villa Phu Khao Private Resort is truly a gem that makes you feel like you're part of the family. Nothing. For people who want to stay at the beach it's important to know that the hotel is in the hills and you either walk down or take a scooter / taxi to the beach. And for mobility impaired people the stairs might be a little tricky but we liked the view on the top :)

Wonderful spacious villa, spotlessly clean, comfortable bed, quiet aircon with awesome views from shower room, terrace, pool and restaurant. Hosts Peter and Leki were so kind and thoughtful, food delicious. The gardens are beautiful and well tended. Close to several Wonderful beaches and forest treks. Excellent value.

this is a very friendly family run hotel. the owners and staff go out of their way to ensure visitors are made very comfortable. the individual rooms all are unique with spectacular views. The food is of an exceptional high standard. breakfast (which is included) is very special. I would and will recommend this resort to anyone.

Generous breakfast- freshly cooked to order by Lek, our hostess. All previous reviews have said everything. Excellent hospitality- delicious food, beautiful clean pool, large comfortable villa for the three of us.

Curtains missing in the grand villa downstairs bedroom. Small maintenance issues- but nothing big, ventilation in bathrooms was not adequate.
