Absolutely everything! The resort, rooms and private beaches were unimaginable. The food, (especially since we had very specific diet requirements ) was some of the best food we have ever eaten. And the staff and hospitality is really what makes this place what it is. Everyone so professional and welcoming, we had the best time.

Would have been nice if the basic transportation and some of the activities were included in the price. Otherewise its really difficult for me to think of something bad about this place.

We had an AMAZING stay at The Six Senses. The staff were absolutely incredible, especially Khun Q who looked after us, and the villa is the best accommodation we've ever stayed in. The villa was huge, and the private pool and deck area was just out of this world. The accommodation was kept spotless at all times, and the pool cleaned thoroughly and regularly. It was truly a paradise and I can't imagine we'll ever stay in such a nice villa again. The food was all delicious, and the day trips offered by the hotel run perfectly. We had the absolute best stay.

A parasol on the deck in between the sun loungers so we could sit out there in the heat more easily. No shop on site for snacks etc, it would have been nice to be able to buy a few bits. And less mosquitoes but that obviously really isn't the hotels fault, and they even provide spray in the villa and at the tables at dinner. Unfortunately between us we were bitten over 100 times and came home swollen and itchy. It's a tropical island though, so what do you expect.

I don't write lengthy reviews very often but this resort offers an island getaway like no other. It is located on Yao Noi, a 40 minute speed boat ride from Phuket and is discretely tucked away on a hillside, with its own beach. The villas are arranged in such a fashion that you have complete privacy, but with the amenities of a 5 star resort. The breakfast buffet was of a high standard, offering plenty of hot and cold food options including pastries cooked fresh on site, fresh juices, eggs from the resorts own chickens and decent coffee. On arrival we were greeted by a dedicated concierge, Zoe who anticipated all our needs - from dinner bookings, tours, picnics, tennis court reservations etc We had a 2 bedroom villa with magnificent views to the islands across the bay. It was very spacious - with our own pool, decks, daybeds, and huge bathroom including an indoor and outdoor shower, and a sunken tub to soak in with views to die for. It really was a gorgeous villa and hard to leave - except for the lovely communal spaces including the hilltop pool and several dining choices for lunch and dinner. Food quality was excellent, local Thai options being our favourite. We tried the free yoga sessions at 8.30am each morning in the open air pavilion, the well equipped fitness centre, we took the complimentary bikes for a spin around the island to sweat off some calories so we could justify another wonderful dinner and the all day, every day free ice creams and sorbet! After 4 days our family (21 years and 16 years) felt so relaxed. Weather was hot and balmy, showery at times. We also booked a half day boat tour to outer islands which was fantastic - hidden lagoons, swimming monkeys and private beach picnics! We left feeling so relaxed and priveliged to have spent time at Six Senses after a former visit some 12 years earlier. Rooms and facilities have all held up very well and the smiling staff are professional, friendly and attentive. Its a 10/10 review from me!

The view was so beautiful over the ocean and being situated in the jungle it was very special. The villas were spread out and very private. I loved the big outdoor living area with a lot of shade and that the beach was basically only for hotel guests. The breakfast was the best. Fresh fruit and tons of it- my favourite!! The service was amazing. The architecture was beautiful, lots of natural material and it just felt like it belonged.

We loved our stay there and would highly recommend it. But things to improve or to be aware:The six senses app did not work . Every time we ordered a buggy it didn’t work. Once we waited in the pouring rain for 25 minutes. It was 17.20 and the excuse was a shift change and high demand when we saw all the buggies standing empty around. We were asked were we wanted a dinner reservation and the answer was it’s a first come first serve for special tables,… The most annoying thing was the constant noise of the cicadas, we sometimes woke up at night from the noise. While the hotel supplied us with plenty of insect repellent, the Moskitos were a pain in the evening or even during Yoga in the morning.

Six Senses Yao Noi is set in the most stunning location, blending breathtaking natural beauty with luxury and sustainability. The wildlife and lush surroundings create a vibrant island vibe, seamlessly integrated into the resort’s design without disrupting nature. The level of food and drinks was unparalleled—honestly, the best coffee we’ve ever had abroad, and every meal was an unforgettable experience. There were plenty of activities, including a magical James Bond movie screening under the stars (as a part of the "Living Room" restaurant). The peaceful integration with nature made us feel like we were in a luxurious treehouse. Our Hideaway Villa was perfect, with a fantastic bath and thoughtful mosquito management through fogging and natural repellents. Pool was amazing and so as the outdoors seating and dining area. unmatched privacy!! The hotel staff was amazing, offering free ice cream and complimentary activities like paddleboarding and kayaking, always with a helping hand. Even the transfer to the airport was flawless, with staff escorting us all the way to the check-in counter, handling our luggage from start to finish. The overall vibe was intimate and familial, making the experience even more special.

The resort shows a bit of its age in places; some of the wooden beams and doors could use maintenance or replacement. However, these minor details didn’t detract from the overall experience. Truly, there were no real drawbacks to our stay.

First and foremost the level of service and how attentive the staff is. The transition from the airpot to the resort via the marina was fast and smooth. The scenery, the feeling you walk through the jungle, the abundance of vegetation (one of the main reasons we chose this resort). The sunrise at the hilltop. The spacious villas (the pool and the outdoor shower). The secluded beach. The activities the resort has to offer. We are definitely coming back.

I would expect to have a wider selection for breakfast, for example there were no flavored yogurts. Some of the dishes are in the menu of all 3 restaurants. I would expect that each restaurant or bar will have their own signature cocktails and not having the same 4 cocktails beside the well known classics. privacy in the restaurants restrooms.

Best place we have ever stayed. Absolutely incredible from start to finish. Food, staff, location - really impossible to fault.

Trying very hard to think of something, and I can't!

A must-visit destination! This hotel offers an absolutely breathtaking view that you need to see at least once in your lifetime. Every moment spent here is elevated by the stunning panorama. Don’t miss out on this unique experience.

While the staff goes out of their way to make children feel welcome, this hotel isn't ideally suited for those under 12 years of age. Although the efforts to accommodate young guests are commendable, the offerings might not keep them entertained for long. If you're visiting with kids, a stay of up to three nights is advisable to prevent boredom. Despite this, the unique experiences and breathtaking views still make it a worthwhile visit for a short stay.

Absolutely wonderful stay — easily the best experience we’ve had abroad. Six Senses is truly one of a kind. Nothing compares to the breathtaking view from the Hilltop pool, the warmth and attentiveness of the staff, and the incredible design of the walkways throughout the property. Getting picked up from our villa and seamlessly taken wherever we needed made everything feel effortless. Honestly, the entire experience felt magical.

Beautiful location, pure privacy and luxury, staff are all amazing and genuinely keen to help. Breakfast was amazing, they bake everything on site. Food was good otherwise and healthy. Spa lovely although I think I’ll need to remortgage after a couple of treatments. My GEM Kiw was lovely and helpful, I don’t think I needed much from him to be honest, but I imagine some villas use the GEM’s quite a bit more!

I would echo some other comments saying the rooms and the outside terrace needs some work, I had a lot of warped and damaged wood on the deck by the pool and entrance (room 36) and bathrooms a bit knackered. I was upgraded which was nice, but I felt my view wasn’t particularly exciting and wondered if I’d been a bit hard done by because they were busy and overbooked, the duplex villas were lovely downstairs but I just didn’t use the upstairs lounge bit as it felt out the way, I don’t think paying extra for those rooms is worth it at all.
