The private beach is so so lovely - crystal clear waters, very safe and clean white sands. The rooms are well appointed and the resort is expansive, green and simply gorgeous. The staff are super attentive especially the ones at the Club Lounge and very accommodating. The Thai food at Mangosteen was deliciously authentic and we enjoyed every bit of our stay. The pool is well kept with lots of shaded areas (with fans!!!) and lounge chairs are always available. Overall we could not fault this property.

The only issue was that our flight was at night so once we checked off and used the spa, we wanted to have an early dinner before heading to the airport at 6.30 pm and none of their restaurants were open so we were forced to eat at the beach side restaurant which had no airconditioned and we pretty much got fried in our airport clothes!! So if they can take this into consideration and keep at least one place open it may help guests.

Breakfast was outstanding. The location was peaceful - removed from the craziness of AoNang but close enough to get there easily enough if you wanted to. Beach was quiet. Bedrooms were comfortable and very clean. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

We liked almost everything in the hotel except several things. We liked: 1) the territory. It’s vast and full of wildlife that is interesting to explore. There’re 2 infinity pools with bars and sun beds on the beach 2) the staff is friendly and ready to help especially with annoying neighbors 3) the hotel is next to cafes, restaurants and massage salons which are twice cheaper than hotel facilities

What we didn’t like: 1) room on the 1st floor. Rooms aren’t equipped with noise isolation, so guests living on the 1st floor hear everything all the time cause other guests pass by you. It’s a pity that some guests aren’t well-behaved and don’t understand that singing songs and playing in the hall at night disturbs others however the hotel can install signs warning of it 2) breakfasts are not various and the same every day. Selection of fruits is poor despite the season 3) there is not shuttle to the town, so I’ve to take a taxi which is really overpriced. 600 thb for 1 way if to take in the hotel and 400 thb outside

Dusit Thani We had a wonderful stay at Dusit Thani in march 2025. The hotel is part of a large, park-like resort located at a quiet part of the Klong Muang beach. The hotel has 2 restaurants (asian and italian) which are both very good. You can also reach neighboring restaurants and bars both via street and the beach. If you book a club room, you have access to a special breakfast offer, afternoon tea with snacks and sunset drinks incl. tasty cocktails at the lounge - all free of extra charge. It also has a full fledge gym with classes on all weekdays and watersports facilities. In the evening you can choose between two bars with free pool billards table. The best aspect of the hotel are the extremely friendly staff who read every wish from your eyes, especially the lounge manager Wa with her team members Fa, Fang, Name, Sea and all of the kitchen Crew. The artist, who makes the shaped pancakes is a highlight of the breakfast. Wawwa, Katie and their collegues do everything to make a fantastic stay at the beach during the day. The massage booth at the beach is very recommended. We would love to come back.

Nothing negativ to say

In general, the hotel and the facilities are really beautiful and well-maintained. Due to the location of the Hotel and the poor connection by public transport, I would recommend booking the tours offered by the hotel. It is true that they are a bit more expensive but if you coordinate everything on your own it is much more stressful. The tours are amazing, comfortable, and super well organized. The privileged location in front of the beach is a super plus! We have dinner all the time in the evening in front of the beach and was amazing! We had a little problem during our stay and the staff solved it quickly and efficiently. We believe it is a resort more for families and couples who like to meet people because you have a lot of facilities and different activities to do, which makes everything more comfortable. In our case, we like small hotels with a lot of small details, but for being a huge beach resort the feeling and the treat the staff gave us was amazing from the beginning until the end. We would definitely recommend the hotel, we have tried the sound meditation, and was a really great experience. If you want to spend some days in the comfort of a resort in front of the beach, Dusit Thani is a great decision.

The only thing we believe they can improve is the room. For a 5-star hotel, we think it should be a bit more modern and comfortable. Nevertheless, our stay there was pleasant and good. Additionally, agree with a comment we read before which says they should offer shuttle services at least at estimated times to the nearest town. I have to say, nothing we did not like, just some little details that we believe could be improved :)

Fantastic! Firstly the staff , so friendly and efficient ! It really is beachfront with comfortable loungers provided and always available . Lovely View of the sea and garden from the balcony . State of the art gym . Fabulous swimming pool . Room is large and hotel is set in what seems like a tropical forest kept pristine by the gardeners. Everything works like clockwork probably due to Swiss manager! Good plentiful and varied with three restaurants . The lounge provides free afternoon tea and a light salad in the evening and would thoroughly recommend as the staff are very helpful, especially Diamond, Laura , Palita and Sky whose good humour is uplifting! A special thanks to Amits for solving a minor problem.

Can’t fault it but if there was one thing I would live is to have Al bran Cereal available for breakfast - that would be a first for most hotels even in the UK . It must be said the breakfast selection was vast and varied !

Quite a wide selection of breakfest food and helpful staff. Hotel is set in a very nice large park with plenty of sunbeds in the garden as well as close to the swimming pool. Although some people still occupy sunbeds early in the morning with their towels, you will always find a sunbed unoccupied later in the morning 😉. Hotel overall is very good.

Maybe a little older furniture equipement in the rooms, but this is understandable after 22 years of the hotel life. On the other hand very comfortable matrace in the beds 🙂

Ah everything was absolutely perfect and lovely during our stay! We were so sad to leave this paradise nested in Klong Muang Beach. Our room was amazing! With a huge bathroom and the staff kindly setup the sofa bed in the room lounge for my 3 year old, which he really enjoyed! Delicious breakfast with so many options, including hot drinks and pancakes made to order, fresh fruits and veggies. Biw, a staff member at breakfast time, was so lovely and caring. We had dinner at the hotel on our last night and it was absolutely delicious! The staff were incredibly friendly and thorough. My husband and I had massage sessions at the Devarana Spa with Na and she was fantastic. We had access to the club lounge due to the type of room we booked (Club Sea Facing), where we ended up going to quite regularly and were always greeted by staff member Sea. She was really lovely and always made a fuss of our 3 year old boy. The drinks and snacks at the lounge were superb. We all enjoyed the two pools, which were of great size and we even joined one of the aqua fitness sessions, which was great. The hotel's grounds are stunning and there are so many different animals that you can spot (we spotted two young snakes sleeping on a tree, monitor lizards, herons, fish, different birds, geckos, and you will definitely hear the common tree frogs with their funny sounds!). I would definitely recommend this hotel. It's absolutely beautiful, the staff are super friendly, the food is delicious, and having access to a beautiful and quiet beach was really lovely. We can't wait to go back! While the facilities are superb, the staff really make this place exceptional!

This is our second time staying here for 2 weeks. Resort is nicely spread out along the beach, hiding behind coconut and pine trees. It never feels crowded, so much space, two pools and plenty of greenery and wildlife. On the beach stones have been cleared from the water and you have a nice swimming area in front of Dusit. Staff is exceptional and so is breakfast. Ironically, it's the best western food I have ever eaten, not to mention variety of Thai and Indian options. There is a high street just outside Dusit, with all essentials from the pharmacy to supermarket, tour operator and taxis.

When we stayed here in spring it wasn't an issue, but this time in February some guests kept leaving towels by the pool, occupying sunbeds without using them. Dusit started leaving notes discouraging guests from such behaviour, but I am not sure if resort enforced anything. Whenever it happened, we could still find space on the beachfront, which is only minutes away from the pools.

The hotel staff is very kind. The rooms are large, clean and very welcoming. The design of the hotel is very nice and the atmosphere is relaxing. The comics pancakes at the breakfast are simply splendid! The location is great, with a 7-11 covenience store right on the entrance, together with a good massage place and great restaurants nearby.

I think there should be more towels in the bathroom, or more hermetic closure for the showers, since water is still dripping out. Also, I think there should be an easier method to charge the room in the end of stay without a deposit. I would also add an option to contact the golf cars through the application, or in general, a Whatsapp through which you can contact the reception/guest service. This can help when the guest needs a ride back while staying at the sea, since there is quite a walk.
