Absolutely stunning property and facilities. Faultless. The rooms and immaculate and beautiful. Beds fantastically comfortable. All the facilities are pristine and perfectly designed. Great experience.

Only complaint is that the nicest restaurant to sit at, Sala, has the food delivered from another kitchen on the other side of the resort. All the food was lukewarm to cold, and was very slow to arrive. No fault of the staff, who are fantastic. But in a top hotel, if the kitchen of a restaurant can’t prepare something it shouldn’t be on the menu. The night we were there at least 4 tables had the same issue while we were there. Don’t let this put you off as all our other meals were fantastic at the other restaurants. I hope they can fix this.

Stunning hotel, really luxurious rooms and facilities, and the beach club opposite was really cool, great vibes and the beach is fabulous. Staff were super polite and the whole place really has a 5* feel. Lots of options for breakfast, all very tasty. Really liked the little tuktuk service to whizz you to your room especially with heavy bags!

We had an unfortunate experience at Nook, the all day cafe. We went in at lunchtime and ordered 4 starters, waited best part of an hour and asked where they were, they then brought it down but it was stone cold, clearly been cooked a while ago and left to go cold. We were surprised they even brought it down in that state and didn't just apologise for it having been forgotten and offer to recook. Instead we just paid for the drinks and left. Think maybe they don't have a manager in the day so they are lacking direction? Not sure, hopefully this feedback will help them improve to prevent happening again, maybe we were just unlucky.

Lovely hotel in a nice quiet location, vey helpful and friendly staff. 4 pools 2 of which is Olympic length. Breakfast was fabulous but never ate in the hotel other than breakfast as a lot of the food wasn’t to our taste and quite expensive for Thailand. The guys at the pool bar were brilliant, great laugh and most of all great service.

Very disappointing that you get charged for water at the bars when you consider it free in your room everyday. 😡 The real downside was the supposed sister beach club across the road which we could use……………but a very high cost!!!!! We were told we could use it for free which gives you access to the beach but no, had to spend a minimum of 1,500 or 2,500 bahts to use their loungers, cabana’s or even bean bags, absolute rip off.

Lovely big rooms, beach is one minute away and gorgeous. The resort felt nice and quiet and there is a lot of space.

Check in took too long and we didn’t feel very welcomed. Would like to have received a welcome drink. Also, when I called reception no one ever answered.

Rooms were immaculate, nice touches offering pool bags, flip flops etc. breakfast was great, able to order eggs Benedict omelette and avocado on toast was a bonus. The grounds were lovely huge pool

There wasn’t much atmosphere around the pool or in the pool bar. The beach club across the road is much better but even though it’s in partnership with Varana you have to pay for beds/minimum spend.

Staff were all friendly. Daily activities were organized to make sure guests stay active as the location is away from busy Krabi town & Ao Nang area. Breakfast spread was very good indeed. Security guards was actively doing their work and also looking after guests..saw them clearing car who was outside the main road of the hotel and helping guests to cross the zebra crossing in a separate occasion

Housekeeping could be more alert as there was a shoe insoles being left behind by an earlier guest at the balcony which was not cleared

Awesome pools, staff, cocktails, and food. By far, the nicest Olympic sized pool I've been in.

Other guests were at times smoking and vaping on balconies and pools, and I imagine the staff were too polite to say anything.

This hotel totally exceeded our expectations. They claim that they offer a "wellcation" and they really do. They thought of every single detail of how a guest can make the best of their vacation in terms of relaxation and wellbeing. We attended almost all activities they provide despite having a one year old baby :) Why? Because we enjoyed them so much and they created such a great atmosphere that even exercising at 8 am and 3 pm seemed so natural. The food is organic (!); our baby loved their breakfast with wide variety of fresh fruits, we loved their Thai dishes for breakfast, freshly squeezed and best tasting mango juice. They even have their own bakery on-site. The housekeeping service was twice daily. The staff was exceptional in making us feel great. We even attended a tour with a longtail boat to Hong island which I also recommend. I also recommend working out in Varana's fitness which is perfectly equipped. When we drove to night market in Ao Nang, we were extremely satisfied also with the location of Varana which is a 15 minute drive from Ao Nang. This is great because Ao Nang is overly packed with tourists. Overall, we will come again and again and again for sure and recommend this hotel to everyone who wants to invest in their overall health and wellbeing :)

Gorgeous rooms, good views, nice chilled vibes throughout, food was good, activities available through the day, excursions were all easy to arrange and enjoyable. Good location for a break from the city. Staff were always lovely and helpful.

Transfer from the airport was not there despite paying upfront. All the restaurants and room service share the same (large) menu. Food was always good but it would be nice to see some variety. Room cleaning stopped replacing coffee pods after the first 2 nights?

All around fantastic resort. Facilities and amenities are to the highest level. Breakfast is great and a huge variety of choices. Staff are brilliant and always smiling. Bed is the comfiest bed I’ve ever slept in and the rooms were lovely.

Onsen was not fully available until the times stated. We went at the last time slot and the majority of the facilities had been turned off so we didn’t experience it as we should. Also there wasn’t really any explanation as to what the experience is and what it all represents so was left a bit confused.
