Property is in a secluded location in the forest, surrounded only by nature. There is a pool - amazing, super relaxing! The rooms are extremely clean and super spacious. The staff of the hotel is AMAZING - one of our group had a birthday during our stay and the staff surprised us with a cake and candles - it was really special. The person at reception, the manager of the hotel, the bartender (amazing cocktails) and all of the waiters were fabulous - so friendly and sooooo nice! This is really a gem in Koh Samui and if you’re wondering to book it - search no more and go ahead, you won’t be disappointed. Also, if you’re lucky in the morning you can hear the elephants from the nearby sanctuary.

What's not to like about this hidden gem on the verge of the jungle! We were so amazed by the hospitality, the room, the location, everything. I did not have high expectations, but I would say this hotel is seriously underrated for this price-quality ratio. I think for us, it was in the details - hearing the elephants trumpeting in the morning, the waterfall softly gushing, the reception being some of the sweetest people we met on the island. We checked out in the morning, went for a boat trip and then returned to pick up our luggage in the evening, and while waiting for our driver, the kind lady from the reception served us water and made sure everything was fine with us. Also, if you like peace and serenity, this south-west side of the island is so quiet and nice to explore with a scooter. 10/10

Tranquility, perfect place to rest. Restaurant serves amazing food. Staff can solve every problem You have. They can organize You a motorbike, a car, a taxi service, a transfer - everything You need to go out somewhere. It was my pleasure to stay there & I can recommend it 150%!

Plus, being so close to the Elephant Sanctuary makes it even more special – you can easily visit and witness these magnificent creatures up close. The hotel is located in a beautiful peaceful place. We were looking for some quiet place. Plants are amazing, you can notice someone’s effort here. The swimming pool is very nice and located beautifully in the centre of the hotel. Luckily our villa was near the swimming pool, which was very convenient for us and our 7 year old son. The hotel is very near the elephants sanctuary and 2 waterfalls. Food in the restaurant which we ordered for dinner (we were dining in the hotel all the time) was delicious.

Everything was really good, however I had some doubts if the way of using the shower is hygienic. I did not mind it, perhaps some people would. Breakfasts were OK for us, I cannot say they were delicious as the restaurants menu but it was tasty. You can order eggs, coffee. There are various vegetables, fruit, Thai options, some desserts too.

If you come to Koh Samui and don't come to this little piece of paradise you are missing out.  People: everyone is welcoming, kind and friendly. They go out of their way to help  The place: the rooms are beautiful even catering for a toddler, beds are comfortable and rooms are clean. Pool is beautiful the scenery looks like something from a movie and if you manage to discover the dharma area then you are in for a treat. There's also a mini golf course and bikes available. The food: the chef is great, breakfast, lunch and dinner were all consistently delicious. The chef even went out of their way to make a birthday cake for my brother.  The biggest surprise for me is that it still seems to be a hidden gem. We spent 9 nights before at holiday in Koh Samui which was lovely but this place is special so I hope that you go and have as much of a lovely time as we did! This place is the perfect couples getaway.

The staff was really amazing. They treated us like family and it was such a pleasure to stay there with a baby. Also, the resort was very calm and we could really enjoy they nature and the pool area, which we loved. We were able to watch elephants from our terrace and there were beautiful plants everywhere. The food was amazing at the restaurant and everything was really clean.

Only minor thing is that you need a car or a scooter to get to the beach. They rent scooters at the hotel but we had rented a car for our stay.

Absolutely stunning location right in the jungle and yet not far from everything. Beautiful design and the pool is salt water, which is really great. Spacious and very comfy rooms.

If you want to cut off from the hustle of the city and just relax at a property, Cascade Tara IS the place to be. We had the best time there. The property is beautiful. There is a natural water stream running through the property. The rooms are very comfortable. The staff is exceptionally sweet and considerate, they did everything to ensure we had the best time. I don’t usually write these long reviews but I’m doing it because they deserve every bit of appreciation.

The food is so good, you won’t have a reason to step out. They also provide really reasonably priced cab services if you want to step out. There is an elephant sanctuary and a waterfall really close to the property.
