Laura's Guest House should be called Laura's Family Home... It is more like staying at a home, than at a hotel / guest house. Laura welcomes all guests like her family, and personally sees into each and every request. Breakfast is personally served by Laura, checking with everyone's preference and dietary requests. The rooms are spotlessly clean, very airy, extremely well decorated and most importantly - extremely quiet... I stayed for 10 nights at the Guest House, and the experience was outstanding. If you are looking for a calm, quiet and peaceful holiday in Samui, Laura's Guest House is your perfect choice! The Guest House is some distance away from the popular hotspots of Lamai and Chaweng, but it is a personal choice on what one is looking for. You will need a scooter for travelling around, as all major shopes and restaurants are atleast 5-10 minutes drive away... I highly recommend Laura's guest house for everyone looking for a serene and quiet holiday location.

Overall, my experience at the resort was amazing. The only additional request i would have is - if the guest house can have a Gym / Fitness centre. Workout is one of the things, one really misses duirng a vacation. There are hardly any Gym options nearby (there is the Samui Stadium, which has an Open Gym / Running / Walking Track), and hence a gym inside the guest house would be an icing on the cake...

This was already our second stay here. The location is perfect, not on the main road. We loved the pool and that it is a small guest house. The room was cosy/nicely decorated and the host was very kind and helped us to get a motorcycle for the week. Thank you for everything!

Nothing. Only improvement could be made with the bathroom, sometimes the water didn't drain quite well and the water pressure changes a lot without changing any settings. And we usually prefer duvets over only sheets to sleep since with the AC it can get quite cold. But these things are small details that didn't bother us at all.

Laura is such a nice host, she makes you feel at home instantly. The room and shared spaces (such as the garden and 'lobby') were very well kept, beautiful and homey. The room itself was beautiful, clean and comfortable and we could not have asked for more. We were sad that we only stayed for one night, I could easily stay here 2 weeks! Thank you Laura, we'll definitely come back in the future.

The location is a bit out of reach for taxi's in the city centre, but that shouldn't prevent you from staying here. If you rent a scooter, you won't need anything else. :)

Small Place (only Four rooms), well maintained. Location is Great, a Little apart from the Main Tourist Areas of Koh Samui. Still a lot of Places to eat and explore. The owner lives there as well and is eager to help you out with everything she can.

Rooms are quite basic (but still fine). Mattress was a little firm for us. Breakfast could have been a tick more variance.

Location it’s perfect if you are looking for peace and relax out from the tourist areas. Bedroom is exactly like pictures and the fact that shower it’s separate from the wc it’s nice. The fact to have the pool (almost) for yourself - at least when we stayed- was amazing. Laura is so sweet and definitely will make the best so you enjoy your stay. Plus: bedsheets and towels smells lovely and room is made up daily.

Bed is a bit hard in my opinion but not sth that ruined the stay at all.

My wife and I decided to stay here for 3 days after a serious bout with food poisoning. One day before arrival, we messaged Laura asking if it was possible to have an earlier check-in. Laura replied quickly, asked what time we would arrive. After responding, she quickly responded that she would make it possible. The guest house is situated in a quiet part of Samui. You do need transport. But Laura is able to help you with scooter rental. Wat Samret is next to the guest house. If you want to see a beautiful temple complex without any tourist, go there! The pool is clean. The room and bathroom were clean. Laura is great! Staff is great! Rooms are cleaned daily. Facilities are good. Communication is good. A/C is quiet. Breakfast is simple, but really good. Don’t forget, Laura makes her own yogurt and jam! So, pump up the jam, pump it up. The outdoor A/C unit of our neighbor was attached to the wall of our room. It made quite some noice. The first 2 night I was able to sleep through it with the help of earplugs. I informed Laura about the problem and she sent a handyman to take a look into it.

Wifi wasn’t the best. Nothing important.

Beautiful zen and peaceful place, large bed, very clean, nice swimming pool and Laura is wonderful and kindness

Repetitive sweet breakfast on our 5 days, housekeeper has to take care when shampoo and savon finishes. Those are only the 2 things to be better, all other is a fantastic place

Laura has created a really great accommodation here with great attention to detail. It is wonderfully quiet, everything is well maintained and very nicely designed. Laura shows me her warmth her destiny and joy for the guests. It is the most beautiful accommodation on my 4-week trip. It is necessary to have a vehicle, Laura asks on her of her self whether a scooter should be borrowed.

I liked the design and ambience, and the open shower. Places that Laura recommends to see were really good

The ‘king’ bed consisted of two smaller beds put together. I felt like I was getting a weird vibe from the host in the middle of the stay, but other than that everything went well.

Everything was fantastic, nice big room, good Wi-Fi, great pool, Lovely breakfast. Laura goes above and beyond. Would highly recommend. Also Sunny the dog is very friendly, and likes her hugs. Good for relaxing. Would also recommend Samui Elephant Spa for something to do for a morning or afternoon. In the area, It’s a elephant rescue sanctuary, so elephants are well looked after.

Scooter or car definitely needed if staying here.
