Great communication with the host. I was received really well by Sydney who helped me get picked up by a taxi on the pier because I arrived from Koh Phangan. The appartment was really clean and I barely struggled with insects, which is extremely rare for Thailand. I never had mosquitos in my room. There were two 65" smart-TV's that you can log in to and use Youtube or Netflix for example. Wifi was also very good. The balcony was great, I miss the view. I wished I stayed longer. Location is good- Lamai viewpoint is around the corner, the main road is literally down the road and there's also a laundry service 2 minutes away from the residence. As an athlete, it was great to have the opportunity to heat up my takeaway meals in a microwave and rest during the evenings. Forgot to mention that the bathroom and shower are also very nice. Again, special shoutout to the host Sydney, thanks for everything!

Yes, the path to the residence is steep... but you become fit from walking it ;) or just rent a motorbike..

The most beautiful view I’ve ever seen in real life, outdoor pool was incredible and the sunbeds & umbrella and swinging egg chair are perfect in the daytime for relaxing. The outdoor kitchen great for using in the daytime big fridge with freezer compartment, we made lunch one day and had all equipment we needed to do so. About 5 mins walk downhill to 7-eleven, then further 5 minutes downhill to the beautiful beach with pure white sand and clear blue water.

Hard to use the outdoor facilities at night due to wildlife/insects/bugs. The toilet is outside from the main living/sleeping area which wasn’t made clear when we booked, caused a few problems in the night with the wildlife/insects/bugs in the night. The property is at the top of an extremely steep hill (this was fine for us as we are fit & well) but some people would definitely not be able to walk up or down the hill.

The place was amazing! From the staff to the amazing apartment that we got! The service was great, always here to help and with big smile ! They welcomed us, took our bags to the room and surprised us with flowers and music at the apartment ! The location was very good and quiet and with a great see view from the balcony and the rooms! We were upgraded to better apartments with private pool, big space ! We really loved everything! great value for money!

I really loved everything but for the residents good I would say that they could fix the decoration and the color on the wall next to the pool..the place is beautiful and it’s the little things that can make it even more beautiful ! One last thing, the hill to the hotel is little bit hard to walk but it’s not the residents fault + the house is so fun and worth it that you don’t want to leave!

The view, absolutely exceptional view across Lamai Bay. The property was well equipped to self cater. The communication with Sydney was great and she could not have been more helpful.

The hill and steps to the property but you do not get the view without a little excursion which was well worth it. The property was also quite windy on occasion possibly due to the hight but this did not deter us from enjoying the terrace and pool.

Fantastic staff... the view from our penthouse apartment was unbelievable 😍... we had such a magical time. Easy transport to other towns, sites, boat trips and shopping via GRAB app. We had an amazing time, the apartment was massive, so clean and cool. Great to have our own private pool also!! The property and staff could not have been better. Laundry next day service was so helpful. Staff at reception couldn't have done a better job at making us feel welcome. Trip of a lifetime. Clean, quiet and a delightful view of the bay. The staff were exceptional and friendly. We would stay here again as there was a group of 8 people and it suited us perfectly.

Just needs a bit of love a care.For example a lick of paint on the outside of the building, and new shade umbrellas on the patios. Always book the cab to the hotel via the property as on a steep hill .If you book via the property they will take your luggage to your accommodation.

room was spacious and looked like the photos, had everything we could need, the view from the balcony was amazing and tv had netflix which was a nice treat :) we walked everywhere and the hill every review other review mentions is steep but pretty short, most of the rooms are located a minute walk away from the main reception so whenever we went out we skipped 3/4 of the hill going and coming anyway so it is not as big of a problem

could have done with cleaning and fresh towels more often we stayed for 5nights and it got cleaned once on the 4th day, however the overall cleanliness of the place was good. there’s a fair few geckos around the property grounds and one or two times little ones got in our room however they were pretty cute and completely docile and we got them out without much hassle

We recently stayed at this hotel, and the experience was delightful. The hotel staff was incredibly friendly and always ready to assist. The owner's warm hospitality added a personal touch to our stay. The premises are stunning, offering a peaceful and quiet atmosphere with a beautiful view of Lamai Sea and hills from the terrace. The rooms are spacious, well-furnished, and equipped with a convenient kitchenette. The inclusion of a smart TV and strong WiFi made our stay even more enjoyable. The luxurious feel of the rooms, along with bidets in the toilets, added to the overall comfort. Housekeeping every 4 days ensured a neat and tidy environment. For convenience, laundry services are available down the slope, and various stores like 7/11, Makro, and Mini C are nearby. However, it's worth noting that the residence is situated on top of a steep slope, which may be challenging for older or less fit individuals. A bike or car is recommended to navigate the slope. Despite this downside, our overall experience was positive, and we highly recommend this residence for a pleasant stay. P.S: M.A. travel is available nearby down the slope and they offer bikes on rent and tours at affordable rates. The staff are friendly and quick to assist.

We really enjoyed our stay. We booked the penthouse appartment. Everything was clean, spacious and the view was amazing. We knew the apartments are on the hill. We walked it about twice a day and it was fine. No hill no view. If we ever come back to Samui we would stay here again. Water was also provided for us. Close to the beach and great restaurants. Staff was helpful and friendly. Ask for organizing airport taxi and they will help.
