Our room was great, staff very friendly and helpful

The resort is a little out of town, not an issue for us as we had a bike, could do with a restaurant, having said this, they are currently carrying out a refurb so would image they will have one soon, there is a small bar on the beach which is great and reasonably priced

Couldn’t shut the bathroom window and no safety box

Amity Beach Resort offers excellent value for money in the Lamai Beach area. It’s located near the Grandfather and Grandmother Rocks, in a quieter part of the beach, away from the large resorts—making it a peaceful and tranquil place to stay. The rooms have been recently renovated, featuring light-toned decor and all the essential amenities. The hotel staff is friendly and helpful. There’s a large safe in the room, spacious enough to fit a laptop. The hotel also provides dedicated sun loungers with umbrellas for guests on the beach. Be aware that during check-out, the room will be inspected, which might feel a bit unusual for European guests, but it appears to be a common practice in Thailand. The staff handled it very politely.

First and foremost it was the people. Coco, the manager was exceptionally helpful and made ourselves feel at home from day 1. She was there to help us to the point of our departure at 5 AM in the morning. She did make it feel very homely and unforgettable. The location was exactly what we wanted at the southern part of Lamai beach not too crowded but with all the amenities. The busier locations were only a grab ride away. the beach itself was actually at one end of the property and about 25 meters from our room. There was a nice cafe/restaurant and a beach bar right there which fulfilled most of our needs. We went on day trips to other beaches in Samui. The room itself is fully renovated and they cleaned it pretty much every day. With the reasonable value, it is ideal for two people particularly for long stays. We were there for 9 days.

Nothing to note

A large and clean room on the second floor. Bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. A/C worked great. Friendly staff. Resort had also its own sunbeds for customers.

The nearby construction site caused minor issues: one time the water stopped coming and the electricity was also out for an hour or so in one evening. When I came to the reception for check out, I did not see any staff around. Yet there were customers’ passport copies lying around the table. This was a major red flag for me and was not a nice end for otherwise lovely stay.

The clean and new stylish furniture, fresh sheets and towels, and also beach towels are provided in the room. Big TV, Wi-Fi, and AC work well. The resort has very fast access to the beach and sunbeds dedicated to guests of the hotel. The administrator was very helpful and polite, and the room was cleaned upon request each time. There is no breakfast, however, 7-Eleven and cafeterias are nearby. There is a fridge and a kettle in the room. Quite and clean territory, definitely could recommend.

The Lamai Beach is a little bit far from the center and the most popular restaurant but if you have a motorbike you could easily drive. The taxi in Samui a bit expensive.

Our stay at this resort was nothing short of exceptional! The room was incredibly spacious, clean, and featured modern, brand-new furniture. You could tell it had been recently renovated with attention to detail. The air conditioning system was top of the line—quiet, efficient, and kept the room perfectly cool at all times especially at night when you most need it. The location is a true hidden gem. The resort sits right on a beautiful, uncrowded beach that offers both privacy and stunning views. The free sun beds and beach towels for guests were a fantastic touch, allowing us to fully relax and unwind without the hustle and bustle of a typical beach crowd. One of the standout features was the Tiki Bar located right on the beach where is the resort. It quickly became our go-to spot for delicious food at very reasonable prices. The service was fast, and every dish we tried hit the mark. While we explored other beachfront dining options, the Tiki Bar was hands-down the best in terms of quality, value, and service. Highly recommend this resort for anyone looking to recharge, indulge, and enjoy a slice of paradise. We’ll definitely be coming back!

Loved everything! The team are super friendly and efficient. When we arrived by taxi we were worried due to the road being a little bumpy and it didn’t look like much on the way in. We were greeted pretty much from our taxi and walked to the reception. That is when we began to see how stunning the properties were. The receptionist, and I regret I did not get their name, was the friendliest person we encountered our entire holiday! Check in was smooth they knew who we were which was a nice touch. We were walked to our room which was more like a gorgeous apartment. I was amazed! Newly renovated & beautiful decor. Huge smart TV, massive (and very comfy) bed, great shower/bathroom, sofa, even the lighting was exceptional the place was spotless really clean. You have your own little courtyard garden & they really thought of everything. Umbrella, shower products (smell divine), kettle with amazing coffee & bottled water (replenished daily) large fridge with freezer compartment, ashtray, clothes horse, hair dryer (Philips) a holder close to the bed for the A/C remote. The WiFi goes all the way to the beach which is a great. Our bags were put into our room and the receptionist asked if we were hungry and recommended No.11 which was on the beach. The beach was about a 30 second walk (Lamai Beach) and was really quiet. 2 restaurants and bars just at the end of the path and massage places. All of them were super affordable. You can book your excursions and taxis with the reception. We ended up extending our stay by 5 days and we did this at reception. 7 eleven and pharmacies are close. Grabs are easy to get to take you to different areas of Samui nothing over a 30 minute drive. Lamai has a night market too so the location really is great. Would highly recommend a stay here and I’m sure it won’t be enough time. We will be returning hopefully within the year.

The path at night could do with some extra lighting but really not a huge issue.

We stayed here for 5 nights and loved it! The room was huge with a lovely big settee, good sized fridge and a really comfy bed. All the staff were lovely and worked tirelessly to keep the whole place, inside and out, spotless. We also felt that the rooms had been recently refurbished, they were that good 👍. We also frequented the excellent Number 11 beach bar/restaurant just next door where the food was the best we had in the island. Excellent value for money, right next to the beach (but none of the rooms have a beach view but it’s only a 30 second walk away), will deff use again if we go back tonight Koh Samui.

It is new renovated and well maintained. The AC works great. The rooms are pleasant and it has luxurious feeling. The bathroom is complete with the amenities. The design of the rooms are fresh and relaxing. Lot of shops and restaurants around. The receptionist is very friendly and helpful.

Due to the weather condition, the sunbeds are not possible to put on the beach. It would be nice to install water faucet at the entrance to wash the feet so the sand or dirt wont scatter on the stairs or room. There was a tiny bad smell in the bathroom. The restaurant inside the property is quite expensive compared to its quality.
